The City Streets

[Zack Asiv]

To mark the annual celebration of peace brought about by the Accords forever ending the War for Power on the Northern Territories a single Host territory is chosen to be the center of that celebration. Each of the Big Four take turns hosting within their borders at specified protectorates away from the Capitols. This year it is Zekunft's turn to host, and has chosen one of their trade cities to host.

The City Streets are decorated with every countries flag, memorials, torches, and people on revelry. Many are dressed as many different major figures from the War, there is a parade going by showing a rough timeline of everything, from the government of old being destroyed, the bombs falling, all the way to the final days, the fateful duel between The Earth Dragon and the Monster Sean Barker. Stands and stalls selling food and drink line the roads, and there are arena's and dirt rings surrounded by crude fencing where exhibition bouts are taking place. People get to fight and blow off steam, while others are doing full on reenactments of major battles from the war.

Street performers ply their trade in music, dance, and song. Putting on public plays and generally making sure the whole city is feeling the party. Here among the chaos of a city fair that apparently covers the whole city is the leader of Cabal Zack Asiv, and with him watching a reenactment of one of the battles when the Crows were assaulted by Barker forces is Alexander Malice the current King of Fighters in Vindicta. The scariest thing about this whole thing is there is no way to tell who or what is guarding the place as security. It could be anyone, anywhere, it's so full of people dressed like soldiers, or warriors.

[Pride]

Pride was there eating some kind of meat on a stick!

"You know it isnt bad. Try it."

He said, shoving the half eaten mystery meat stick into Joy's face.

[Joy]

Joy was watching one of the fights in the makeshift area, unsmiling, arms folded over her chest. Why were they even here?

At least, she was watching until a sudden half eaten bit of food was shoved in her face. She looked at Pride in silence over the meat he tried to tempt her with, unmoved.

[Cara Dunn]

Cara was out and about, enjoying herself as she drifted froma troupe of music players with drink in hand as she made her way over to one of the reenactments. There were so many people here!

[Donovan]

Donovan was here to celebrate as well, though, unknown to any but him, he also planned to leave his home territory when the event was over... He had the strangest of dreams... but in it he was shown the folly of the belief that Qi is bad... Now was the time to find a new territory that could help him learn about and possibly even control his qi. But today, was for fun! He would happily go buy himself a meat stick!

"Delicious!"

He exclaimed ripping into the juicy meat.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

The Crimson King himself would be in the crowd opposite from Asiv watching the reenactment himself. Smiling at the battle.

"Ah, the good all days..."

He would say with a chuckle.

[Avice Locke]

An infant cooing in its Papoose at her back her eyes scanning the area she walked to a stand and began to speak to a woman about the custard treat she was offering.

"Aye, I'll be takin' one thanks much." She paid and would walk to a rest area and unlatch her child from her back to begin feeding the newborn its own warm mean. She would take a small bit of the smooth custard and let the child try it Derik really enjoyed the warm custard as his eyes popped open with a slight squirmy.

She had a fun experience suddenly waking up to a babe crying wondering who's child it was and then suddenly she remembered... "Oh, it was mine..." She was having a hard time remembering much of the pregnancy and who might have given her the child. She knew all that roaming and fucking around was going to get her knocked up one day. Still, she didn't stop that was for sure. The Parade went by and she was entranced with the colors and the festivities seeing the history of this land.

[Rhona Hall]

Rhona still ablaze as the sun was going down joined a spar from one of the areas allotted. She was happy and excited to be trading blows before others and creating stars in the eyes of those that feel her punches.

"Come on!" she roared feeling the adrenaline from her latest match

[Pride]

He wiggled the meat enticingly in front of her face.

"Come ooooonnn. You know you waaaannnt it." Taking it back he'd rip another bite out of it. Chewing loudly as he motioned back to her with it.

"I wonder if all food just tastes better on a stick."

[Avice Locke]

"Aye can confirm, seasoned with Convenience and ease." Avice overheard the conversation and decided to chime in with the brother and sister." she was trying to be friendly.

[Joy]

Joy's jaw tightened in defiance as Pride continued to tempt her into doing something to enjoy this place, her only sign of disapproval before someone else chimed in with a baby and a bit of cheer. Her eyes fixated on the stranger, pupils narrowing.

"I'll pass." It was safe to talk if he was eating instead.

[Sectos Barker]

Sectos head would pop up from practically the ground. His sharp shark like teeth biting down on the partially eaten meat, staring right into Joy's face, uncomfortable close as he chewed on the meat and stick.

"Delicious. Stick seasoning."

[Donovan]

"Amazingly so!"

Donovan would chime in as the crowd of people began to grow and speak loudly beside him!

[Avice Locke]

Avice noticed the new one eating stick and all and frankly his arrival startled her a bit.

She didn't say much more... what an odd character.

Then another chime in and not sure if he was any less odd...

But the child was done with his meal so Avice would turn to his attention putting down her own meal to deal with Derik

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would hop into the arena across from Rhona taking off his suit jacket, vest, and tie. Rolling up his white sleeves and putting his fedora on the fence post.

"This is too good to pass up."
