Morning Rituals

[Cillian McWolfe]

He stabbed his blade into the ground at her question. A playful grin dancing across his face.

"Like this."

Leaning forward as he mock stumbled, he let himself fall, tucking into a roll before springing to his feet. Though instead of his normal flourish and bow he would grimace and limp clutching his side.

"Probably shouldn't have done that..." He'd remark with a voice strained with pain.

[Rhona Hall]

She blinked a time or two as she instinctively started to catch him not thinking of the joke just yet but it made her stop and bust out laughing clutching her own side which was littered with bruises and aching with each breath she took.

"Oh... for both our sakes HAHa!" She tried to calm. "Are you... alright?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Of course."

He was still hunched over holding his side. But he managed to give her a thumbs up.

"It was well worth it to bring you some levity."

[Dime Price]

She would extend a hand for him. "I can say it brightened my day" She had a big smile cheered up for sure.

He accepted the hand gracefully, still smiling.

"Then I would do it again in a heartbeat."

[Rhona Hall]

She would take his inspiration to heart.

"Oi, given our conditions, I wouldn't suggest anything too hard but what would you say we trade blows and spar a bit? Show me what the East has to offer that the mountains are missing out on?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

And his smile wavered again.

"While I am sure you are a very skilled warrior, I must decline. It is not proper to raise one's blade against a lady."

[Rhona Hall]

"Aah..." she dropped her stance. He was one of those... which was a bummer. "You have a powerful handshake too. I'll bet you'd Dance circles around me. Still, I understand that and respect it." Suggesting that is one of the reasons she shakes everyone's hand to almost gauge their strength against her own. She could help but be a little disappointed that she wasn't going to get the chance but she wasn't going given his reason she couldn't impose further. She had more manners than that for sure.

She would go back and start working on her forms once more.

"Well, I appreciate the understanding." He half expected her to press him on it. He knew how those foreigners could be. "And I thank you sincerely for the compliment Lady Hall."

[Rhona Hall]

"I grew up with a lot of different views. I like thinking I am of the no different as any other man, woman, or strong abled... however that is not always what others believe. We have to understand that where I am from or else it wouldn't be the territory it is." she chuckled. "Though even amongst my people there is a certain... decorum of which I stubbornly refused against my mothers best efforts. I guess I am just unique in that fact."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"With no disrespect, but you may find you have that in common with many people. I think a lot of people rebel against their parents to some degree. It's our way of asserting ourselves as individuals. To clash against our parent's wishes or those we were raised with."

It was something he could relate to and had experience with at least.

[Rhona Hall]

"That I would agree with. Good or bad the future changes no matter what... What about you? What was it like for you growing up?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Rigorous and full of very high expectations. But good. I was blessed with a happy childhood and a loving family."

[Rhona Hall]

"My family and I strive to get the Rights to become Gods... High expectations I totally understand." she sighed a bit. "None the less I miss mine."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Ah, of course. There are always those that seek to be called Gods over men. I suppose that is to be expected."

He tapped his chin thoughtfully.

"And which God do you believe yourself to be? If I may ask Miss Hall."
