Gotta Stop (Drake)

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike was trying to fly back to Lightning Territory but his wound was too great and he was getting weak. He wouldn't make it the next few miles let alone the next few minutes. He saw a building with a red light outside, knowing the place as one of the Lightning Controlled brothels he would land near the door and stumble to it, opening the door and wandering in holding the piece of glass in his stomach. His vision was dark and blurry he could barely make out noise let alone peoples outlines.

"I am Spike Sudeki, Lieutenant Adviser to the Oguri Family. I need medical help."

And he'd pretty much pass out right there.

[Drake]

Some time later Drake would be dragging his sore and sorry ass back inside the brothel doors as well.

"Gina! I could use a look over, you would not believe the kind of parties rich people th-"

And then he would see the new person walking over to him Drake realized he could see this guys soul without activating his ability.

"Well, that's new."

Drake would mumble. The he would poke the bandaged up man hoping to wake him up.

Soul Sight: While activated Drake can see a persons soul and can determine their life force and Morality (+10 Per, +10 Eng) Mutated: The first post of activating the Seikatsugan Drake's Seikatsugan boosts double to +20 Per, +20 Eng Enhanced: These Ancient Seikatsugans originally capable of creating sigils of formulas in the air where they could see that each magic circle had different meanings and abilities. This was further increased with being able to see at great distances being able to zoom in on things at x20 zoom making things seem 20x closer than they actually are. (Upgraded: Drake's eye abilities are always active and free to use with out spending Qi points, still requires Qi spends for stat boost)

Instinct kicked in at being touched my an unfamiliar energy, his hand gripped the wooden handle to a wooden sword and his eyes shot open immediately the white turned black, his eyes flashed gold and the black designs around his eyes popped into existence, looking at the person in a flash focused. He was ready to strike, but his eyes caught he was wounded, nonthreatening, and carrying himself like he was curious. In the same instant he moved he figured this out and stopped moving. His eyes would melt back to normal.

"Sorry... Is this your spot?"

[Drake]

Drake raised a fist in response to punch out this stranger as he rushed to move at him but the sudden stop made Drake relax. But only a little. He would back up a step or two to examine the guys soul.

"Huh... you're a bit fucked up. Not just your body, but your soul too. Who the hell are you?"

Drake demanded.

"And why are you in my home?"

[Sage Sudeki]

"Ugh."

Spike would grunt as he pulled himself up to a sitting position and put his feet on the ground running a hand over the bandages on his abdomen. That might scar, they did a pretty good stitch job though. He'd look at the guy demanding shit, he'd take a shallow breath due to the stitches and lean back against the wall.

"Spike Sudeki, Heir Apparent to the Lightning Tower... I was at a Parade in Zekunft owned territory when things went to hell. Couldn't make it any further than this on my way home."

[Drake]

Drake would fold his arms.

"No shit. I just got back from Zekunft too. Some asshole made a huge ass explosion that tossed me off to who the hell knows where. See:"

Drake would then show off his own wounds and absolutely ruined dress kimono that was a gift from one of his regulars.

"Just got back here myself hoping to get bandaged up."

He would shake his head.

"Rich people have some weird ass parties."

Spike would nod.

"Same place then."

He'd grab his dress shirt, since he left his suit jacket, vest, and tie on the arena fence post that was likely completely destroyed by now.

"It doesn't go down like that, not in Zekunft. Someone is messing with the wrong country. Zekunft may not have a military, but they have trade deals, economic interests, and diplomatic favors and relations with pretty much everyone. Whoever did that is risking the largest coalition force ever seen in our world."

[Drake]

Drake nodded

"Sure... that is one possibility. Or, its just that rich people are crazy."

However before Drake could continue there would be a loud shreik behind him.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO THISE CLOTHES?!"

Drake whinced and turned around just to get a hard slap to the face. Tears would begin to form but none fell.

"I'm sorry mother, there was-"

"I don't want to hear your bullshir excuses!"

Drake would raise his head to look at his mother whose glare intensified upon see his eyes.

"How DARE you look at me with those eyes. Those hellsent eye of your fathers! Deactivate them this instant!"

Drake would attempt to... but nothing happened.

"I ca-"

SLAP!

This time the hit was so hard and harsh that her nails drew blood. In his weakened state Drake fell to the floor. She would spit on him.

"You're worthless! Leave here at once. And don't you dare come back until you've gotten rid of those eyes!"

Then she would storm off upstairs. Drake whimpered once and sniffles before regaining his composure and standing up in silence. Looking no more alive than a mannequin.

Spike would stare for a short time, he had never been in this kind of situation where he couldn't attack or defend, he wanted to do something, intervene in some way, but he felt like it wasn't his place. Let alone this guy had a Seikatsugan, the shock of that by its self left Spike hesitant as he looked away momentarily.

~A bastard?~

Spike would push himself to standing. Walk over and stand near Drake without looking at him.

"She's wrong you know."

He'd activate his Seikatsugan again and turn to look at Drake.

"You aren't worthless... Those eyes mean we are related, those eyes are a sign that you are meant for something great. A symbol that this... That she isn't where you belong."

He'd smile and put a hand on his shoulder.

"The only thing she is right about, is we need to get out of here. I'll take you to Lightning Tower, my father can explain about your eyes more, and you can learn who you truly are."

[Drake]

Drake, feeling rather deflated would shrug. But just as he was about to tell Spike off he saw Spikes eyes, and upon hearing they were family something in his mind snapped and he became angry and clear all at the same time.

"That's right. I'm not a Norman's. I'm a Sudeki."

He would declare to himself. Spike may or may not understand the muffled declaration. But immediately after he would look into Spikes eyes and nod.

"You're right... I'm not sure how I know that... but I do. I'm ready when you are."

Spike would raise an eye brow at the guys realization of his name, but since he was ready to get out of there too, Spike felt good enough to get back to Lightning Tower. He'd lead the way there keeping quiet mostly, though he was curious as to a few things about this guy, it wasn't unusual to find a Sudeki bastard.

"So, does your Seikatsugan do anything special?"

[Drake]

"I can see people's souls. They tell me if you are good, bad, or a variant of some sort. Essentially, I can see a person's true self, the part of themselves that they can't hide."

He would let that sink in for a moment before continuing.

"I can also use soul energy and attack a person's soul directly."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would whistle.

"That is pretty unique. Not every Sudeki has a special sight attached to their abilities. Mine don't have anything beyond being able to see someone's aura and through things."

Spike would snap his fingers with his right hand and smile. When they arrive at the Lightning Tower there would be two rows of people in suits bowing as they walked to the door. The door would be opened for them as they were lead inside.

"Welcome to Lightning Tower."

[Drake]

Drake looked up and was impressed!

"Not impressed."

Spike would grin and lead the way to the elevator which stopped on the tenth floor. They would have to walk the rest of the ten floors to get to a main room, with an entire side open to a balcony over looking most of Lightning Country. Spike would then walk out onto the balcony and point up. The tower's entire top was levitating over the tower.

"We are going to have to get up there. Only way up there is to fly, or with the Seikatsugan."
