Her own time in a healing tank had been a bit more peaceable than others, but Cecelia found the aftermath of the grand hall's attack still going strong some time later. Days or even weeks, she'd been advised. So she had reached out like any responsible noble and seen that her family donated time and territory manpower to help rebuild and find survivors. It also meant packing light and being ready to leave home, complete with the sprite-like being that she had found and taken to afterward. A form of protection, her family had advised. Only now she was going to an academy of...other people. People with defects, like herself. She didn't know how much use that would be. Or was it overuse? But that was for later.
For now, she was organizing messages back home and manpower to help clear rubble and look for survivors!

It wouldn't be long before one of the Royal Guards assigned to her family showed up in their assigned family colors. He would speak with intention as they usually do, but it comes out monotone to those who don't know how to listen to the nuances of the way they speak. "Lady Angelonia has a special request of you and your trip to Cabal. She would like to discuss this in person should you find the time." For someone like Cecelia she would be able to discern a bit of urgency in his delivery.

Though she noted the guard's appearance, it wasn't until he approached he had her full attention, showing his reason for being there was for her alone. She could sense the urgency in his tone, making the request all the more important, and one made sure to make time for the princess of zukunft if they wanted to make it anywhere in their world.
"Of course." She nodded to the servant she was speaking to in dismissal, letting them attend to their others duties as her focus settled on the guard.
"I have time now if Lady Angelonia has indicated she is available." She was more than a touch curious what had her personal interest.

The guard would bow slightly.
"I will let her know you are ready to meet."
And with that he would leave her. It would only be about half an hour before the Lady Angelonia strolled elegantly onto the scene with her four Royal Guards ever vigilant. She would approach Cecelia's accommodations to begin the usual greetings process and be invited in like a well mannered guest. The Royal Guard acting for the Riddel family would escort them to Cecelia personally before excusing himself.
"Lady Riddel, I am very grateful for the time you have set aside in your reparation efforts to accept me for what must seem like a very out of the blue meeting."
She would effortlessly swing a hand in front of her stomach and bow her head and upper torso in a show of respect and understanding.

Left to the mercy of the lady's arrival, Cecelia returned to the task at hand, going over her own belongings one final time. It was simple, busy work that she oddly found herself grateful work, things she could confirm without having to search, but leaving her to do more than dwell on the destruction they were addressing. Not to mention the death toll that seemed to change by the hour. "Welcome, Lady Angelonia." She dipped a low curtsy for the other girl with her greeting, holding it for a second before rising again with a soft, sad smile. "There's no need for apology; we are all doing our part for our home and its people. It's an honor to see you again, though I do find myself curious.
"Would you care for some tea?" She would indicate the small area with two chairs that they could sit if they chose, but she had the impression that this wasn't going to be a lengthy social call.

"It's about your trip to take classes in Cabal."
Angelonia would say as she motioned for some place to sit.
"My intel is lead to believe Cabal or it's affiliated protectorates are harboring experiments who may have information or even affiliation with Project Judgement. I need you to discreetly figure out if it's true or not. Once we get that far there may or may not be more."

Cecelia set the tea and gestured towards a pair of chairs and a small table in teh shade, away from prying as much as she could manage. A thoughtful expression crossed her face for a moment at the mention of the monster that destroyed the entire area.
"I see. That would be unfortunate." She could be walking right into enemy territory. She would sit after Angelonia, the thoughtful expression clearing as they continued. Given her options, discretion should be the easier part once she had an answer. She hoped. "Was there anyone in particular that drew their eye, or a preference how I contact you?"
New Carolina didn't normally let ladies do such things. Normally.

"Every week your Royal Guard, the man outside; will visit you. He was chosen specifically as the most capable among your families Royal Guards. You can give him tasks to carry out as black operations for the safety and prosperity of Zekunft. Following our ideals of non-aggression, he is forbidden from killing, but acting in self defense or in your defense is allowed. He will bring your reports and details directly to me. Secondly, we have no leads beyond the reports of seeing white haired, red eyed people among Cabal regulars."
Angelonia folds her hand in her lap as she sits upright detailing what was at Cecelia's disposal.

"I understand." Her hands remained folded in her lap as she nodded. It sounded like the flags were simple enough, and if nothing else, she would have someone whom she could rely on. The Royal Guards were well behaved and vigilant. Diligent. Familiar.
"Hopefully we will be able to discover the truth sooner rather than later." Regulars, even. She wondered about the connection.
"Is there anything else you would ask of me, my lady?"

"See if you can learn anything special about experiments. Something that works as a red flag or deterrent. Project Judgement may be attempting to follow his namesake and cast some sort of judgement on Zekunft by killing my father, but that is not our way."
Angelonia would declare, though it was just as unclear for who she said it for. Possibly another situation she felt the walls had ears and eyes no one knew about.

It may be an unseen audience, or a need to reassure herself and those who were in sight and could hear her. She offered a small smile of approval.
"Indeed it is not. I will look into it, my lady. Whatever this judgement, we will do all we can to be ready." A moment's pause, her voice quieting as the smile faded.
"How does your father fare? I recall he took quite a bit of focus of the attack, despite those who came to assist him."

Angelonia would fidget a bit in her seat, adjusting herself into a more comfortable part of the cushion so to speak.
"He has mostly recovered in a mix of his much more advanced abilities from his time in the war for power and Prota's generous medical aid. He does still have bed rest orders, but it is only to accelerate his healing."

"I'm glad to hear he is doing so well. I'm sure many others are, as well." She noted the fidgeting, glancing down and then back to Angelonia.
"Please, let me know if there's anything else I can help you with, my lady. I know these are trying times, recovering from the attack as well as family and others in need."

"Indeed, it is a relief for me, but I wish there was more that could be done to ease the suffering our country is feeling. As a Noble, I should have the answers and the ability to protect the commoners, but the full extent of what I could do myself in the moment was protect four people. Even now, my resources are limited in what can be done to help this once grand city. It was recently reported that the Noble Family in charge of this territory had been completely wiped out. They were found in a secluded location in a horse drawn carriage assassinated hours before the actual events began."

"As you said, you have limited resources," Celia agreed after a moment. "You are also one person. You can learn and grow from this, as your father had during the War, I'm sure. That you were able to do anything at all and able to respond in the midst of a fight like that says quite a deal, already. The rest is also what the rest of the Nobles are for." For a moment, her smiled warmed, but the memories of the fight still lingered on her face, and the expression turned to shock and dismay at the mention of the assassination.
"That's horrible...does anyone remember seeing the family at the celebration?" Or a mimic of them, perhaps, but all teh same if they were seen.
