The Lady Takes The Stage (OPEN)

[Zack Asiv]

Shino catches the case, but at the sound of the crunch and the dismay of the damsel his eyes open wide and his mouth hangs slack.

"Hurk!"

He makes a noise of surprise and shock at what had just happened, curling the small case in his arms as his eyes begin to water.

"I will be as careful as possible with this, the most precious and delicate package. As if this one case holds all the innocence left int he world. My body may break, my spirit may shatter, but this case... This case will remain safe at all costs."

[Donovan]

Donovan would blink at the mans display.

"Except for the innocents inside that you just killed because you can't catch something softly or with care. Jeez."

[Cecelia Riddel]

At all costs, save what was already broken. Still, she smiled, appreciating and soothed by the hero in question. He tried, at least, and he hadn't started asking for a fight right away. But both were equal at fault, and Celia's hands went to smooth her skirt instead to try and settle herself.

"Thank you, gentlemen." She squared her shoulders in a dainty display of bravery. "Which was was it to the main office again? I feel as though it would be best not detour our journey further."

[Zack Asiv]

Shino would slump from Donovan's harsh words. He would however lead the way utterly dejected to the main building.

"The Director is in the training field, so for now I'll get you guys sorted into team barracks."

[Donovan]

Donovan would remain silent now just following.

[Cecelia Riddel]

"Thank you, Mr. Yuy. We truly appreciate it. Have you been here long, yourself?" She used the formal "we" as she tried to smooth things over between the two and the awkward silence that clouded the area, but something Shino said caught her attention.

"Teams? I'm afraid I don't understand." She was getting a team?

[Zack Asiv]

Shino would nod.

"Yeah... The last six years when I became old enough to join as a trainee."

He'd sigh heavy before explaining more.

"There is Blue Team and Red Team. It's a separation to organize people here and schedule appropriate training exercises. And to decide in which building you will live."

He would pause before remembering he is supposed to mention something.

"Also, keep in mind this is a mixed cultural barracks, so please be considerate of how nude you are in the common areas."

[Donovan]

"Pfft. Why? There is noting wrong with nudity. It's a natural state of being. Why would anyone have issues with it?"

He asked legitimately bewildered by the comment.

[Cecelia Riddel]

"They what?!" Celia gasped, utterly aghast as she stared at Shino with wide eyes.

Literally nothing else matters in that moment other than her shock and disbelief. Until Donovan starts talking like its...it's NORMAL or something.

"Well I never would do so." She shudders as if it's some great sin. Different cultural backgrounds, but where was the human decency? She shook her head.

She'll get back to the training thing in a moment.

[Zack Asiv]

Shino would just point at Donovan in response to Cecelia.

"Some of the cultures don't see nudity as a private affair. It's just a fact of life, when water is scarce you fit as many people as you can under or in the water at a time. There are no rules against it in the barracks, but we do ask people take others into consideration."

[Donovan]

Donovan shrugged.

"Whatever. I'll try to remember a towel when I shower then. But I promise nothing."

[Cecelia Riddel]

"Try very, very hard sir. If you please." Settling back out of shock, she turned to Shino.

"What sort of training?" Celia could already feel her stomach churning at the thought. She was supposed to be a transfer here, which meant their ways. Including her time here.

[Zack Asiv]

"Depends on the classes you sign up for. You only need to show proficiency in one of them to graduate. Hand-to-hand combat, weapons specialty, Qi Studies, and Research and Development."

Shino would list off.

"Though just because there are non-combat classes doesn;t mean the instructors aren't strict. Like the R&D instructor has never passed a student since he took over instructing the class a few years back."

[Donovan]

"Hand to hand! Hell yeah! I'm excited! Aren't you?!"

Donovan would ask Cecilia!

[Cecelia Riddel]

"I see." She didn't have to think much of what classes were there for her to take; half of them wouldn't do for her at all. But she was asking as much for Donovan as confirming for herself since he mentioned being new and unfamiliar with the area.

She wasn't all that surprised with his enthusiasm for combat, shaking her head with a polite smile.

"I'm rather excited to see what things will be like her, but I imagine my own classes will be more along the lines of Qi Studies, at least." She tilted her slightly to look up at her brightly colored hero.

"What do you take, Mr. Yuy?"
