"Well, you just met two people today. And that's one of the wonderful things of meeting new people. Getting an opportunity to see how different cultures act."

Fenrir pup was curling up in his arms, all tuckered out and ready for a nap. Letting out a large high pitched squeak of a yawn.

"At least that's how I try to see it."

[Cecelia Riddel]

"Indeed you have." Celia forced her hands to rest in front of her, folded together to help contain the inner squee going on to focus.

"I imagine there are quite a few here who would like to meet new people, as well. The chance at a new culture and a new experience is something many take pleasure in." She gave Sectos a polite but somewhat encouraging smile. His bare fleh everywhere was one thing and she'd have to get used to him, but so far the mannerisms he'd displayed weren't out of line with others she'd seen since her arrival.

[Sectos Barker]

"More than some I hear."

Sectos would remark a little quietly in response to Cecelia, however he would ignore his own statement entirely.

"Well then, let's get down to the nitty of it. I'm a Mage from a commoner family from Aurora. My family's research has led to only a sparse few breakthroughs in our understanding of Qi Beasts and how they work. I myself am able to make complex magical circle's made of my Qi and in the most basic sense of the word a formula of alchemical and mathmatic equations with specialized elemental augmentation to summon or take on the personification of a 'Fiend'. A special class of Qi Beast and Familiar."

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian's eyes widened somewhat at that, but he'd nod.

"Well then Mage, it is quite an honor to meet you. I've not met many but the few I have command great respect."

[Cecelia Riddel]

Cecelia blinked a couple of times at the full explanation of who Sectos was and where he came from. It sounded complex and impressive with the math, but at the same time, she felt overwhelmed at the metion of turning himself into fiends and other things. The particular category was horrifying, but as she'd just learned, even a destroyer of world could have positive qualities.

"Well met. I've not had the chance to meet any mages before now. It sounds quite impressive."

[Sectos Barker]

"Not as much as you would think, miss."

Sectos would respond to Cecelia, but would take a small formal bow to both.

"I'm more interested in the learning part of our culture than the political and personal workings of the social ladder."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"I can sympathize with that. The vying for a position can be tiresome. I would rather dedicate my time uplifting the hearts of people than worrying over which marriage would be best for my house."

[Cecelia Riddel]

"I will have to trust your word for it." Celia offered a polite smile and a nod, hearing the words from the other two and accepting it with ease. They were men, after all. They had that right and that luxury.

"I would agree that uplifting the people is important, though the right political steps can help both you and them, or destroy certain chances. Learning about other cultures and their peoples is one way to lift everyone up."

[Sectos Barker]

"Don't get me wrong miss, politics and learning about other people goes hand in hand, it's just not my... Heh, way."

He'd wave a hand at his lack of full clothing.

"I know my place, but I like to learn about everything else. What are your homes like?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"You make a very valid point Miss Riddel."

He nodded. It was important because not everyone saw eye to eye. Politics was the art of making people do what you want and feel like it's what they wanted to do themselves. Or at worst, what they must do.

"Beautiful, I am very fortunate to be from a gorgeous city in a cool wooded area overlooking the crystal clear waters of our lake. I quite miss it, if I am, to be honest."

[Cecelia Riddel]

"I understand." Celia gives Sectos a gracious smile. He seemed genuine enough, even if shirtless and shoeless. No one back home would let the poor boy in to any civilized establishment. But there was a sort of acceptance and self-depreciating humor that was intriguing, as if he'd come to accept it rather than change. Odd, but adorable she supposed. The question made her smile more openly as her point was validated.

"It sounds like a lovely place." She agreed with a nod. "Home is...beautiful, I would say. A seaside town with the ocean breeze and the warmth of summer. It's like a pleasant memory. Colorful, and with those who you've known your whole life. Museums of art and history from he pre-war days and the mountains in the distance."

Oh, how she missed it.

"How do you like it here so far?"

[Sectos Barker]

"Man I want to see those places."

Sectos would say all starry eyed.

"This place is nice. Very diverse as far as I've seen. It's really strict, but it's safe I feel. I just don't think I've gotten to really know this territory."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Maybe you will get your chance. But please, tell us about your home. What is it like where you come from?"

[Cecelia Riddel]

"I'm sure you will get your chance," Celia agreed demurely, nodding Cillian's question. What was Ayatlan really like, if that was his home?

[Sectos Barker]

"Well, it's a flouting island filled with people researching Qi and trying to find it's every particulate. Though for some it's a hobby and passion, for others they must do it, or they will not survive. The pressure to be the leader in your field for the prestige and the hope that you can climb your family out of the filth and be recognized for your work. That's the goal. Other than that there are lush green views, and the waterfalls coming off the edge keep a near constant rainbow."

He said all of it with a smile.
