Learn From The Past (Open)

[Thorn Wyatt]

There are only a few things that Thorn was instructed to do when he was sent to Cabal. Unfortunately, Thorn hasn't exactly learned... subtlety.

As such, he makes his way towards Cabal's records room, and much in the way he's learned at home, kicks the door open, intending on reading the contents within. Restricted or not.

[Pride]

Pride is a simple man, he hears a door getting violently kicked open he shows up. Because that doesn't happen unless something is about to happen, and he loves being around when things happen. Violently, or otherwise. So in the spirit of comradery and solidarity Pride would approach the room that Thorn entered and kick the door a second time.

Because fuck yeah!

"What's going on?" 

[Stigma Wyatt]

Stigma, in totally not stalker fashion, would stop walking as she saw her brother cause property damage. She'd try to have a look above the door for any signs of what room this was as she hadn't entirely familiarized herself with everything yet.

"D-did..you f-find something?" she'd mumble somewhat awkwardly, feeling a bit nervous around Pride despite not really engaging with him in any personal fashion.

[Joy]

When someone's kicking down doors, it's time for business. Usually. Joy leaned against a wall, arms crossed over her chest as she looked from Pride to the other two, her gaze lingering on the woman in the mask. Were they supposed to be here? Didn't matter.

"Find what?"

[Thorn Wyatt]

Thorn is both surprised and confused at the man kicking the door after him, and it actually makes him pause briefly.

"Entering...?"

Why is it a question.

He tilts his head, then turns to look at Stigma, whose very presence is doing wonders in keeping him from being nervous.

"...this room is for records. If we read them, we'll have learned much more about this place and the world in general."

Which, in itself, may not sound like much, but Dirt is very isolated.

He bristles a little at another person showing up, but his answer does work for her question as well.

[Pride]

"That's stupid."

[Stigma Wyatt]

Stigma would look down bashfully, tugging on the visor part of her hat like it'd make the rest of her disappear.

"Sorry...it holds value for us, however."

It was somewhat embarrassing to be interested in something someone else referred to as stupid, but in the end it WAS important to them.

[Joy]

She took a moment to consider if they were lying. Like Pride said, it was stupid. Why have a room full of secrets?

"It's too easy."

[Thorn Wyatt]

Thorn just looks at Pride. There's no judgement there, no offense, just a blank look. Like the words he'd said are alien.

Then he looks at Joy.

"So?"

[Pride]

He'd pick at the inside of his ear with his pinky looking down at the girl who seemed to be rightfully embarrassed by this stupid idea.

"If you want to learn about the world you should learn it from people."

Obviously. It was hard for Pride to hide his disappointment and boredom, he'd thought something interesting was going to go one. But he was already getting bored.

"That's how we are finding out the big stuff."

They'd found nothing about the experiments, meat on a stick, or fatties yet.

[Stigma Wyatt]

"What b-big stuff, exactly, have you found with your method? Seems less ef-fficient than finding a room full of information."

It wasn't a bad method. Just one that wasted time.

Also...talking...with people...

[Joy]

"It's secret. Why would it just be here?" Joy lets the answer work for both of the others.

[Thorn Wyatt]

"Limiting us to just listening to people is a waste of time. It's faster to read their official records."

Thorn says flatly.

"What is the secret big stuff? Is it important?"

He looks to Joy again.

[Pride]

"Assuming the stuff they leave in a big room for you to walk in is true I guess."

He'd flick some ear wax to the side.

[Stigma Wyatt]

Stigma looks at Joy as well since Pride provides no answer.
