Kaia's eyes would widen a bit, not expecting to feel words quite like that. It was clearer than the sort of understanding she'd felt every other time.
After taking a second for her brain to make sense of it, Kaia would go along with it, pretty curious to see what was there.

There were about seven or so little blue lizards with barely protruding spines on their backs running around, tackling each other and jumping on one another. One even had enough energy to generate a small spark at the others which caused a bird like noise from the others. However Kaia would see another nine eggs that had been trampled, destroyed, or otherwise did not hatch.
She also gets the sudden feeling that due to the environment of the training grounds more than half the babies she sees now will not make it to adulthood.

Kaia can't help but smile softly at the little babies. At least until she saw the other eggs, and the realization the small ones were in danger.
Her smile would fade and her brows would knit as she tried to think it through. What could she even do to help? She can't just stay here forever, and people coming for training were bound to be around at whatever time of the day they wanted.
"Is that from people or other Qi beasts?" she'd ask softly.

The lizard nudges a few of the lizard children with her snout knocking them over playfully.
Kaia could get the feeling that it was both. Territory disputes, hungry qi beasts, cadets training. She could also tell the young ones will leave this nest very soon for a better chance at survival.

"What...can I do to help more of them survive?" She'd ask, chewing on her bottom lip in frustration. Yeah it's nature and shit, but if she's aware of a problem she can't just NOT do something.

There would be a long moment as the large blue lizard did nothing. Until finally leaning down and lifting one of the little ones in it's mouth and holding it towards Kaia.

Ah. What is she blabbering about? They're about to leave the nest. They've been with their mom as long as necessary. She sighs through her nose before reaching out to take the baby, holding it up like someone who doesn't know how to hold babies. Just kinda holding it out in front of her and holding it at the pits.
"Augh, alright. But once it's big and tough I'm unleashing it back out here."
Probably. Unless she's like dads who don't want dogs and eventually bond with dogs harder than anyone else in the house.

Once holding it she can notice the goofy look on it's face as it's mouth hangs open and it's tongue hangs out the corner of it's mouth. However, she also would notice she can SEE the flow of electro-magnetic energy around her!

It tilts it's head at the question and Kaia can see herself! It doesn't interrupt or seem to obscure her sense of sight. Yet, there she is, from the little lizards tilted point of view, and she can see scales the same color as her hair on her face and lizard like slits for pupils. If she were to check there were scales on her skin. She'd feel stronger and tougher. Filled with an odd power.
She would also feel a strong connection with the little lizard, her every instinct, whim, desire. She could feel the same and Kaia could tell this little lizard now also hated Cain.

Wait. Can it hear her thoughts? Gotta keep that shit more PG. It's a baby.
Either way, she stops holding the baby so far away, feeling more comfortable with holding it near her once the whole shared vision thing stops being really distracting.
"How did you do that?" she'd ask out loud, still trying to understand what these lizards are exactly. Electromagnetic and weird imprinting and GEEZ.
She looks at the mom cause she probably knows the answer better than this cute little thing.

Spined Bolt Basilisk (Infant): Kaia has formed a Qi Beast Bond. She can see what it sees, feel what it feels almost to the point of reading each others minds. The closer they are the more powerful they are showing in scales, claws, and lizard like eyes on Kaia. Kaia can see electro-magnetic fields from living beings able to make it appear like she is shooting them with a bolt of Lightning when in reality she is using their own magnetic field to attack them which is a bolt that comes from the target to Kaia's hand. The bolt does damage equal to Kaia's Energy stat, and it adds half the damage done to her next physical attack.
(The Basilisk will become an adolescent after 30 OoC Days, an adult 60 days later, and an elder 120 days after that.)
