[Xapham]

He had searched all day and couldn't find the person he was looking for. He let out a large sigh as he pulled out a cigarette.

"Am I being punked right now."

He would ask no one in particular as he lit his cigarette.

[Deimian Kyrikk]

Deimian would accidentally bump into a fellow, feeling quite silly to not hear or smell the cigarette he had lit. He was too busy running from a pesky bird.

"Oh, sir," he said as he recovered. "I'm so very sorry. I was too busy being chased by a silly bird to sense you stood here. Please forgive me."

[Xapham]

Xapham was knocked forward by the impact.

"The hell? A bird?"

He would ask confused.

[Deimian Kyrikk]

"Yes," Deimian answered simply at first as he wiped himself off. "A very protectove barn swallow mistaking me for a predator. I was only trying to hear the eggs hatching, you know."

[Xapham]

Xapham stared at the strange man.

"No. I do not."

[Deimian Kyrikk]

I suppsoe that is a fair statement... Deimian thought to himself.

Under normal circumstances, this is the time where the young man would take his leave. But he felt something; a sort of... heaviness; not of matter, but of something beyond the world of touch, outside the box of natural things studied. Intrigue bound him to the cement on which he stood.

"Are you awaiting a friend? Someone else possibly? I wish not to pry; you must forgive my curious soul."

[Xapham]

"Hm?"

He would say looking back at the blind man.

"Yes. Why?"

[Deimian Kyrikk]

"Oh no reason," Deimian replied quickly. "Is there possibly anyway i could be of assistance? As a way to, eh.. make amends, for my faux pas."

[Xapham]

Xapham just stared at the man.

"You're blind."

[Deimian Kyrikk]

Deimian wasn't sure whether to be insulted by his audacity or respect his honesty.

In either case, he chuckled awkwardly and defended himself. "Well, be that as it may, my other senses are fully functional, arguably moreso when compared to the average man. I might be able to assist in detecting any suspicious activity that may arise."

[Xapham]

Xapham just rolled his eyes.

"Well, you see I'm looking for a man by a description given to me. He is supposedly a client of mine. But I can't seem to locate them and I'm beginning to wonder if they even exist. So unless you have a special ability to find people off of description alone without being able to see, I doubt you will be of very much use to me."

[Deimian Kyrikk]

Deimian developed an offended, but confused, look about his face.

"What accurses you so, that kindness is so foreign to you?"

[Xapham]

Xapham just rolled his eyes.

"Loss. Does a lot to a man."

[Deimian Kyrikk]

Deimian's heart hurt for the stranger.

"Indeed it does," he replied with a tone that hinted just how much of the cold truth he understood.

"But," he continued after a brief moment of silence. "I have found that showing kindness is a way to breathe life into others, accounting for the loss you've experienced."

[Xapham]

"You do you then."

Xapham was growing tired of this line of conversation.

"Tell you what, you want to help me out. Do you know where I can find Cabal's requisition's officer."
