"Perhaps we should find another way," Celia murmured. She wondered just what it was the other man thought he could do, but Zola's gesture had her attention more readily. Nodding, she would turn and follow her guard to hear what they had to say. She looked over her shoulder, silently inviting Val to follow if he chose, before returning ehr attention to the other woman to speak.

Val glances at Ray.

"...you think you can take them?"

He asks quietly, trying to gauge whether it's worth trying to push through this blockade with the stranger's help.

[Zack Asiv]

Zola would lead Celia around the bend of the dome and wall. Out of sight of the others before extending a hand upwards.

"Forgive me, ma'am."

Zola would wrap an arm around Celia and her other hand would extend up tot he ledge and hoist them up to it. Zola would release Celia on the walkway.

"There is bound to be a maintenance hatch of some kind along this path. We find it and bypass the guards. It may also be on lock down so we may have to do some damage to it."

Ray would not turn to look at Val when he asked the question would simply nod lightly while his hand gripped the guard of his sword a bit more.

The man with black hair would sigh.

"Fricken, Vindictan citizens..."

Pride would shove the two of them, but he would find the one with blue hair was in front of him again. Already just brushing himself off like he hadn't even been shoved.

"You were warned."

Pride would find he was flanked by the red haired one as well. They were approaching to grab him!

[Pride]

"So were you."

He raised a hand at both of them when he found himself flanked, swirling colors forming before firing at each of their stomachs. Unlike actual people from Vindicta he didn't give a fuck about not using powers. It was part of him, so it was game.

"For wh--" Celia's jaw clamped down, wide-eyed as the other woman reached out and grabbed her before hoisting the pair of them up to the wall with ease and the expected grace. Her heart hammered in her chest as she rounded on the other woman, but remained silent and closed her mouth when she heard the explanation. The logic was soothing as she slowly nodded, internalizing her dread at the mention of a maintenance hatch. She would not enjoy the notion of getting filthy, but she had dressed for outdoors and had spent a couple weeks in the rebuilding and refugee areas after the attack at the Great Hall. She could do this.

At least, that's what she told herself.

"Understood." Taking a deep breath, she nodded. "Good thinking, Zola." Forgiveness achieved. In the meantime, Cecelia would see if the maintanence hatch seemed to be indicated, or if they'd have to trek further in, away from the gate.

"Hraaaaah!"

Val's aura suddenly flares to life as the fight starts, pretty much announcing his intentions!

Level 0 – Body Empowerment: Valerian enters each thread with 0 energy, and his energy stat is the maximum amount of energy he can attain. To gain energy, Valerian must charge himself, gaining energy at a rate of 10 energy if moving, and 20 energy if remaining in place.
For every 10 points of base energy Valerian has, his other stats (attack, defense, speed, perception) are increased by 4.

The blue haired man was going to move out of the way of the chaos energy, but taking the queue from Val, Ray had a hand out and he smacked into a barrier getting hit by the bolt anyways. Ray rushed forward leaping into the air at the black haired man who watched in disinterest. Before Ray got within striking distance he kicked to his side seeming to leap off the air, repeating this until standing on the air horizontally completely behind the man he would thrust the rapier!

The rapier would pierce the black haired man causing him to stumble a bit from the impact as Ray landed on the ground finally. His arms would fold backwards and his head would extend before flipping around, grabbing Ray's arms and holding him in place as the guy bite's him on the neck and shoulder, huge fangs extending from his suddenly huge jaws!

The red haired one is knocked to the ground a few feet away, getting up a little slowly.

Zola would wave Celia to follow her as she lead the trek onward to continue away from the others. Eventually however they would find a hatch that looked like it was openable. Zola would try it, but as suspected it seemed to be somehow locked.

[Pride]

"We done now?"

He'd muffle out around the hunk of meat in his mouth. He didn't feel like wasting his time here.

Happy to be away from the violence and the light show, Cecelia would follow Zola, stopping to crouch somewhat and try to inspect the hatch and see if she could find how it was locked!

"Hmmm...what do you think, Mitsuki?"  She'd wave at the little sprite that had accompanied her since she'd come out to Cabal.

Mitsuki can Grant Celia the Copy Cat Eye's which give her infra red vision and 180 degree vision. Celia can recognize people, attacks, or Qi abilities after seeing them just once, even if the person is wearing a disguise, or completely changed physically.

Valerian dashes forward, looking to kick the biting man right in his extended throat!

[Zack Asiv]

The extended man would turn into a mass of white snakes and Val's kick would hit a few of them away. The other two would back down a bit, and Ray was now on the ground frozen stiff. The black haired man would then be standing near Pride. While Val was now surrounded by a small horde of white snakes!

"You know I have to hurt you now, right?"

Mitsuki would inspect the port and found the hinges before shaking her head.

"It's using negatively and positively charged crystals inlay in the metal to act as magnetic locks. Buuuuut."

She stared at the wall and followed along it.

"There are wires... Leading to a panel... Here."

The little sprite would open a small panel with just a PT interface scanner.

Zola would nod.

"Need to interact with it using a PT. I do not know how Cabal computer systems operate."

[Pride]

Pride didn't even answer, instead another bolt of energy would simply fire from his shoulder blade at the last one standing. He wasn't into threats today.

Qi use 2/23

Cecelia looked to where the sprite indicated the panel, taking a moment to see what came up on the screen and navigating to maintenance for the hatch if she can..

"Thank you, Mitsuki." Cecelia would pull up the PT she got for being a member of Cabal. "I'm not sure what we'll need or find, but I can at least take a look." It still felt weird to use one, but she understood enough to get the basics. Thank you, classes she paid attention in.

"Yeah. I kind of figured."

Valerian scowls, but otherwise doesn't move.

Maybe that beam will be all he needs.

The black haired male would put his arm in the way of the bolt of energy which slammed into it with such force the energy dispersal ripped up most of his shirt, flesh burned away. The other arm however had shot out, elongating and grabbing the unmoved Pride by the back of the head, now shaped like a snake's mouth it would sling Pride into the air aiming to slam him down like a whip into Val! (Dmg: 100)
