Preston would try and flag down a commanding officer and appraise them of the situation. If given permission he would forward the coordinates to the artillery and inform the field team.

Daniel shifts, and fires again.

He's definitely getting carried away, but the booming cannon fire has made it so he can't even hear his own maniacal laughter.

Player One is having a really busy day! All these phone calls! So many people under attack, including us now? "Mm, I'd say no cause if someone else has rabies going near them is how you get rabies, but I dunno what you'll do about getting around that so I'm gonna go ask okay?"

They do not wait for a response to spin around looking for the person who appears to be wearing the closest thing to a uniform, because if the scouts tell you anything, it's the boss always has the most patches!

Hilariously, this is probably Ali? Who is with the actual commander type. "Hi! Some of the Royal Guards went and suddenly turned into bad guys at this mansion but they're acting weird bodywise so our guys wanna know if it's good to go beat them up? I say no cause that's how you get rabies! What should they do? Oh, also we're under attack." Yeah, can't forget that part.

Triton scours the earth for a blade to wield, or anything of the sort!

She couldn't help Triton in this moment with her own immediate danger. She needed an opening to take him down quickly! With a quick dodge shifting her body to flow inside the ice blades range and into the experiments hitbox she would raise a fist up and box this guy in the jaw!

Shino would tilt his head at Ali.

"We didn't bring any Experiments. They are all on lock down in their village."

Thats when Player One brought her report to them and Shino raised his right hand, shaking before he clasped the fingers inwards into a fist.

"Our allies are in danger! My hand burns with a righteous fury! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh!!"

Shino would take off running in a random direction with no coordinates or really any goals or orders. Samantha and Victor watch this from their spots with disapproving looks on their faces and downcast glances.

Victor would walk over to Player One.

"Have them surround the mansion and hold position until more non-Royal Guard reinforcements arrive. If they can turn Royal Guards with how loyal they are, they could be far more dangerous than we suspected before. Also Trainee Kazim, please reinforce the border guards, we are under attack as reported."

Nova would get a salute in return.

"Thanks for getting here so quickly. We have one for extract, we should be able to hold this place with what we have. There were some main forces squads rolling through earlier, but it's been quiet since we fought off the attack that injured our comrade."

The Zekunft Noble doctor would finish up.

"She is good for transport, let's move."

With clearance given Preston's ordered artillery strike is volleyed off. After a moment the comms cackle back to life.

"Clean hit, clean hit. Waiting for confirmed elimination of the target......... Unconfirmed, there is a crater, sending in scouts........ There is a tunnel, they have fled- WE ARE U-"

The comms cut off and only read static until a new voice comes over the speaker.

"Better luck next time."

Triton finds a disarmed Experiment sword! but is slashed in the back! (Dmg: 46)

Rhona decks the guy who stumbles back!

"As you were, then." she'd nod at the information, hoping for their sake that the quiet was a good sign.\

She would head back over to the injured woman once she was deemed stable enough to travel, more or less pulling her onto Nova's back.

"I'll show you the way back then, Lord...Blackburn was it?" she'd say casually, as she started to jog back to camp, giving the woman at least a bit of warning.

"Hang tight."

"Then why---" Ali is cut off as Player One gives the heads up of things going on out on teh field. She frowned as Shino rushed off, heedless and starry-eyed. How was the man still alive? Or was that not normal for him?

"Commander!" She couldn't hide her exasperation or her twitching eyelid, and debated trying to catch up with Shino, but the man's thoughts were clearly elsewhere. Thankfully, she also sees the others and, shaking her head, making her way over to Samantha since Victor walked off. They, at least, seemed sensible.

"Sorry, Commander, but I need to speak to you with Commander Yuy distracted." There is so much frowning. If there weren't supposed to be experiments, then why were so many roaming?

"I believe it's important." As in, dear mana, please don't bolt on her.

After yet another grimaced release of pained voice, Triton twists and plunges his blade into his attacker!

[Player 1]

"You got it buddy!" Player One trots off to go tell the dudes on comms that yeah, rabies, watch out for that and don't go near it until more of our guys show up!

Man, this job is easy peasy!

Preston and Sean Barker try to get communications back, or failing that to patch into who the new voice was to get a location that he could feed to Cabal troops.

An opening! As he stumbled her dark symbols appeared and her hair stood on its end turning dark and beneath those dark markings she glowed vibrantly and she spun on her heel sending a foot into this one's face and intend to knock him flat on his behind and hopefully knocking him out cold.

Zero ability: Apollo's soul: With the naturally stored energy from the sun she can freely use it to make herself glow as it swirls actively in her skin, expel it in a blinding light might cause second degree burns at point-blank range. A concentration of that energy can be shifted to parts of her body in an instant to make them heated and cause more second-degree burns on contact. Increase 50% attack stat.

Feral Nature - Whenever Rhona gives in to her primal side her hair turns black and becomes frayed and stands up like a feral animal, nails sharpen and elongate slightly, along with sharp teeth and enlarged canines. She In this form she always lands on her feet/or upright, can see in the dark, and adds half her energy stat to her attack and speed.

Sam smiles and nods at Ali.

"Sure, whats the problem?"

Triton's new found sword sinks deep into the attacker who grips at it in shock not realizing they were dead yet, twitching and gargling before they go limp.

Player One gets the good info out, but gets a response.

"Alright, we will hold position, send us reinforcements please."

Though a hand would land on Player One's shoulder. A guy in Cabal uniform with red eyes and white hair.

"Don't worry about them. We have people headed that way."

The person would smile wide and give a wink.

Preston however was having a hell of a time even with Barker to get communications back up with the squad. It seemed to be all disconnected except for the original PT, which his readings would find more than five hundred feet in the air.

"Oh, were those your men? That's what happens when you attack a Dragon."

Nova arrives back with the wounded soldier and the Noble VIP in time to see an oddity... Were there always so few people at the FOB?

Sweet mana, a sensible person. Nodding in an effort ot keep the relief from showing openly on her face, Ali would continue.

"Commander Yuy advised that the experiments working with us were on lockdown. But all the patrols here I've seen have red eyes and have done all they can to hide the color of their hair." She looked around the area again, wondering what they were waiting for, or if she was actually wrong about this, then focused on Sam again.

"Hey, where is everyone?" Nova would ask out loud, looking for a tent or something to leave the injured lady in.
