Still, that was interesting to know. She searched Fox's memories a moment. "I know their Faces... well their younger faces. Aye, Suppose tryin' te make sense of this I 'adn't realized a few differences." she grumbled. "Its still beginin' to make a bit of sense. Lots of blood and flames of the past, it almost forms into one collective memory... all the same, but with different faces."

Rai scoffed.
"Yeah, that sounds about right."
Then he would pause as he looked at her. A question forming.
"So, can you summon him?"

She put her hands on her hips and furrowed her brow deep. "I feel like openin' an' umbrella inside anytime I think of it..." But if he wanted to see... She felt him, called for him, took a deep breath, and exhaled sending her hand to the ground as if reaching within the Abyss and pulling the strings of fate now chaining him to her to raise a dark and ominous Coffin. Taller than she it rose and stuck out like a sore thumb. She took a foot and shoved the lid off aiding it to come open. It fell to the floor in a huge and heavy thud and Fox walked out. "'Im not very chatty... this be 'im body, but i'm mind and soul are in me. Takes quite a bit of me Qi too, more than any of me own abilities." She gave a specific thought and looked at him. Gloves ignited with fire of which he would move and summon a pillar of flame to give an example of one of his abilities and extinguishing it just as quickly. she would keep him summoned until Rai gave his own reaction. Qi:5/33 Avice can spend 5 Qi points to summon Rick Fox through the reanimation summon creating a husk fighter with all his combat experience abilities and gear. Rick Fox Atk: 20 Def: 20 Spd: 20 Per: 20 Eng: 20 -Pillar of Fire: Summons a pillar of fire near Rick which defends against 40 dmg. |

Rai would say approaching the summon. Waving his hand in its face. Poking it in the chest. All around seeing if it would react to anything, including faking a punch to its face that would stop at the tip of its nose. When Rai was done with his playing he would return to his throne and sit.
"You may dismiss it."

She chuckled a bit seeing his interest. "Aye..." she waved a hand as if letting go of those invisible strings and Fox returned to the Coffin and it almost elevatored back into the Abyss. "Now that ya been formally introduced... I must say the Qi that is bein' used I am not wholly comfortable with but, I asked for a protector and an extra bit of strength... The Contractor made a match."

She cupped her hands close to her chest. "Even before Derik, I understood the weight of a life. Fox... 'ad a life and it is swimmin' in all its weight within me
, People who know 'im and love 'im. What if on o' them could see what I made of 'im after thinkin' he is restin' and at peace?! To treat 'im like a tool makes a mockery of life, then wat does that mean for the weight of mine or yar's for that matter. King, Dragon, Master, etc... from the day ya die an' the next sunrise ya see is through another's will. A mockery be what The Contractor and I make of 'im..." She shrugged and realized she ranted a bit long. "Just me way of thinkin' an' I will be makin' the most of Fox by fulfullin' our pact, as one sided of a deal as it be I won't waste 'im."

Rai laughed.
"Nothing American about it. I used to be just like you Avice. But. That made me weak. I learned that, in order to gain the strength I need to survive, I have to be willing to do whatever it takes."
Then he would stare at Avice.
"Besides. You keep talking about pulling him from the after life and what not, but this thing you summoned, is merely a husk, full of spiritual energy sure. But not a solid soul. You should know the difference. For instance does he speak to you? Do you communicate or do you just know everything he did? If that is the case what you have is the power if knowledge. Not the power if life. And that body is merely a vessel with his image, not he himself. So, I hope this eases you."

She sighed deeply but maybe he was right, and she was overthinking the "Husk".
She looked at him and began to imagine the things he has had to do. She recalled their first meeting and would remember what his answer to her about the little girl and his friend he had to make her from... also she thought back to Drake. She still could tell she wasn't getting the whole picture. And yet just like their last visit she was sitting here doing not else but judging his actions for not being what she would do. She looked away embarrassed at the realization. Placing a hand on her cheek she tried to use the coolness of her fingers to calm her reddened shame.
"Forgive me Raikotsu... I don't mean to..." She grunted in frustration. "I too am willin' to do whatever it takes... suppose I am not sure just what that means, unlike yarself."

For the first time since she had met him his face softened and he smiled an understanding smile. He would once again get and walk over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder in support.
"Its ok to not know what you are willing to do, sometimes its even a comfort to not know. As long as you have the resolve to face whatever happens and accept the outcome. Your choices are what brings you to every conflict, and every terror that you come across and the only one you can blame is yourself. So, no matter what happens, no matter how bad it is, just remember to accept as your responsibility, and then do what you feel you must. Even if it is something you don't want to do."
With that Rai would let go of Avice and turn around.
"You have given me all that I need, I'm sure your baby is eagerly waiting to see you, go spend some time with him. You've earned yourself a little rest."
He would say as he made his way back to the throne.

"Aye... That be about right." She had not else to say even if she wanted to anyway.
SHe allowed his hand to comfort her welcomingly so and she glanced at his smile with little doubt of it's authenticity. She took comfort in it surprisingly.
She was in a tight spot as far as where she was in her mind. Given how much Raikotsu is willing to sacrifice she almost felt the need to tell him to stop. She couldn't tell if it was selflessness or stupidity as if she wanted to find an easier way. But even if she did it wasn't her choice to make and she wasn't going to be rediculous and tell Raikotsu to do these things. Simply that would be the most selfish thing she could ever think to do.
He had his plans, she'll only hope they pan out the way he hopes they do. And she... Well maybe her own choices will become harder down the road and she maybe will need to look back to him as an example and find the strength to make them and as he said "Own up and accept the consequences."
