Energy Duality (Brianna/Leon)

[Brianna Valdyr]

Brianna nodded, hoping the result of this would be exactly that: something to help and not hinder. She grinned and waved at the sight of Carter, one of hte more easy going relatives of the Clan.

"Hey! Yeah, this is the guy." She nodded, glancing at Cillian and back at Carter. "Cillian, Carter. Carter, Cillian. I don't know about questions. I think we're okay with looking around later."

Carter would shake Cillians hand with respect and a smile.

"Alright this way."

He would lead them through the compound until they reached a building that looked like a duplex apartment. He would lead them inside until they came to a desk in front of large 3D projected monitors that seemed to be maps of some kind. Sitting at the desk would be the brown haired Byron Valdyr.

"Brianna, Cillian. I've been briefed on whats going on, but I'd like at least a run down of what you are experiencing if you don't mind. Sensations, energy, anything that seems off."

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian brought a hand to his heart and bowed when he was brought before Byron.

"Thank you for seeing me on such short notice Lord Valdyr. I have not experienced many symptoms myself since I have been able to make the sword manifest. Prior to that there was a burning sensation in my palm that was a constant presence. It was Miss Brianna that sensed the secondary energy within me since I lack the abilities to sense such things."

[Brianna Valdyr]

"Good to see you again, Byron." For once, Cillian would notice Brianna spoke more with her actual words than her hands when speaking with Byron, standing with her hands behind her back and nodding at his explanation.

"I ran into him in the Cabal training grounds. He mentioned the sword he was working with came from an ability the Sudeki were pretty hyped about. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary at first, but after a while I noticed the shift in energy. His own is pretty calm, but whatever else is there is like a violent storm. We thought it would be good to follow up when I noticed it, though Cillian said he doesn't feel anything different."  She gave her cousin a curious look, wondering what it was he saw, himself.

Byron would nod at the explanations and his eyes would activate, a brilliant violet hue would glow from them as circles of energy swirled with unknown runes within them as he scanned Cillian.

"I see... It doesn't look detrimental. It looks more like it's becoming you, combining with your energy. The process though, is... Unsure. It could cause a bunch of pain, or it could be so subtle the only notice is this storm like energy. I however, do not believe it will cause you any harm."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"They suggested I try to find someone with soul sight. I am one of a handful of people to have this manifest. So any long term effects are still unknown. I am relieved to hear that it does not seem to be detrimental however. My biggest concern was becoming a risk to others if it proved to be unstable."

[Brianna Valdyr]

Brianna's tongue pressed against the back of her teeth as they spoke, knowing soul sight would be handy but also a pain to go back and forth on. But it was good to hear it shouldn't actually cause Cillian harm.

"I offered to keep an eye on him with Yeva; I don't mind doing that if both of you are alright with it." A small forwn appeared on her face as she looked to Byron again. "I didn't need to use my eye to see the change." Aka that's weird.

[Zack Asiv]

Byrons eyes snapped to Brianna at her final comment. Trailing back to Cillian.

"Soul sight would be useful. It's rare, even between all the eye focused bloodlines."

He looks back at Brianna and seems to focus more.

"It is possible... There is something else going on... Your eyes may have some potential we don't know about."

He'd turn to Cillian.

"Can I ask a favor of you?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"You may ask and I can promise I will consider it as long as it does not go against my oaths and moral code. But should it not conflict it would be rude of me to not at least try to accommodate you given your generosity."

Yes. Yes he could.

[Brianna Valdyr]

Well that was new. Brianna remained silent, considering the possibility of what was said. Unseen potential would be interesting. But she was curious about the favor now, her gaze focusing on Cillian as well.

[Zack Asiv]

"In a way our eyes are also our faith, Brianna's ability to see the storm of your energy without activating them ties her eyes to your path in a way. This may lead to understanding both what is happening to you and her hidden potentials. I would like to ask you to allow her to accompany you in missions or future adventures until we know what it means."

Byron would deactivate his eyes and wait for the answer.

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian bowed again.

"I would be honor to have her accompany me. My shield is her shield."

[Brianna Valdyr]

Now it really was up to the two of then; she'd offered to watch him, and now it seemed Byron was asking Cillian to do the same for her. Not that she was arguing. He was a nice guy and she couldn't deny the curiosity about what was going on for both of them.

"Works for me." She nodded. It was her biggest concern and question, and her muscles felt less tense with the promise.  "We can handle it, side by side."  None of this 'her shield' stuff.

Byron would grin and nod.

"Thank you, but one other thing, would you mind showing me the sword?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Of course."

Cillian extended a hand to the side, away from the others. Blue flame engulfing it as a blade materialized in his palm wreathed in the same blue flame.

Qi use 1/27

(Shikenshi) Zap Dragon Blade: A sword with blue flame summoned from the palm of Cillian holds in it the power of the Zap Dragon. Costing one Qi use per post to summon it can then fire Blade Beams with each slash of electricity. These blade beams do Cillians Energy on damage. (Does not use a Qi use to fire a blade beam, as long as the sword is maintained it's power can be used.
