[Donovan]

Donovan would be back in the training fields. Not having a good day this time. And the weather seemed to match his mood. Dark, gloomy, and on the brink of a storm. Donovan sent the little mage he met previously a message to meet him at the same spot they had met previously. At the split tree.

[Sectos Barker]

It wouldn't take long for Sectos to come walking up, latching the empty tome to it's holster on his belt under his robes. He'd wave at Donovan as he showed up.

"Hey, hows it going?"

[Donovan]

Donovan turned to face the young mage. His face was gloom and his eyes didn't light up.

"Katsuri ripped out a boys heart, and stuffed it in my mouth so I could gain its power. Then I got so angry that a creature made of darkness appeared from nowhere and destroyed Katsuri in a single bite."

[Sectos Barker]

For once Sectos wasn't smiling from the news.

"Hmm, well that really isn't good at all. The sprite killed someone... I am not sure what to do with this information, it needs to be reported."

[Donovan]

"I already have. This was the other day. I've been talking to authorities and getting medical attention. I called you here for help outside of that."

[Sectos Barker]

Sectos' eyes narrowed slightly as his mind turned to critical analysis mode, however he would talk.

"What do you need of me, then?"

[Donovan]

"I need to learn control. Both in my natural ability and in whatever the hell I did to some that creature from the abyss. I need to be strong enough to not fall to the whims of those around me. Not let what Katsuro did happen again."

[Sectos Barker]

"Basically you need to feel some form of control over yourself and your power."

Sectos would say understanding where he came from with that.

"Very well..."

Sectos would hold out his hand for another hand shake, except this would force him to use his non-prosthetic arm.

[Donovan]

Donovan raised an eyebrow, but would shake the mans hand.

"Is... this a part of your spell?"

[Sectos Barker]

"It's one of the steps."

Suddenly his tattoo's would glow for a second before he let go of Donovan's hand.

"Well here we go."

Sectos would use his sharpened finger to cut his arm a bit, feeling the dark mist flow over his body he gritted his teeth.

"Well it is a powerful Qi. It does make me feel a level of anger I'm not used to. It seems primal in a way. I don't think this Qi summoned the creature."

[Donovan]

Donovan watched in bewilderment!

"H-how are you not mindlessly raging?!"

[Sectos Barker]

Sectos would think on that for a few moments. Deactivating the Qi himself with a long and calming breath.

"It may be more... Mental or philosophical than answers you wish to have, but... I know myself, I accept myself in every aspect, I have faced my inner demons, there may be something in you you do not wish to accept, or face entirely. And that restrained or locked away part of you comes out with this sudden uncontrolled release of emotion."

[Donovan]

"Nonesense!"

Donovan proclaimed.

"I hide behind nothing!"

[Sectos Barker]

Sectos would tap his chin for a moment.

"Bravado maybe? Or maybe it's because of your views on Qi themselves?"

[Donovan]

Donovan tilted his head.

"My... views on Qi?"
