Now's the time (RyanGM/Miya)

[Kaia Galanos]

She waits for it to go before exhaling slowly from her nose. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect from the job she'd get...but she'd be ready.

Kaia makes it back to the inn they are staying at, giving a dramatic sigh once she closes the door.

[Miya]

Miya would he sitting on the couch sharpening one of her swords. She would look up at Kaia.

"So, how'd it go boss?"

[Kaia Galanos]

"They won't tell me anything unless I kill someone." she shrugs, going over to a chair and sitting down.

[Miya]

Miya sighed.

"Sounds about right. Welp, who's the target?"

[Kaia Galanos]

"I find out tomorrow. I have to go back alone again and they'll give me my mark. And THEN I can get info on who killed Phobos."

She crosses her arms and leans back.

"Sorry it's so uneventful for you. I didn't think Priscilla was sending me to hire an assassin."

[Miya]

Miya shrugged as she put away her blade.

"Never can tell with these guys. Sometimes its small, 'Go get me this thing over there!' and other times is, 'Go obtain the gal bladder of an ancient mythical creature that may or may not exist and do not return unless you have it!' so, in the grand scheme of things you really got a mid level difficulty task. Still though. If you want my help, I will help you fight, or take down the person. But I don't kill. Not unless I absolutely have too, and in this case, this is your kill."

[Kaia Galanos]

"Well, I was told I have to come back alone, but I guess I haven't asked about having to take them on alone." she'd scratch the back of her head.

"I'll get the details if I can. As for the kill, it's fine. I'm not scared to do that. I'd be a piss poor war God if that bothered me."

[Miya]

Miya chuckled.

"Touche. Well, you're call what you wanna do next."

[Kaia Galanos]

"Well I guess for now we get some rest. Short of just doing as I was instructed, there's no other way to get in as an 'associate', you know?"

Playing by the rules seemed like the only option.

[Miya]

"Sounds like a plan. What would you like me to do? As of right now, since you still don't have their permission for me to tag along, I am still free to do whatever I want here. Would you like to me go out and do some information gathering or reconnaissance? Your choice, I just don't want you to think I'm sitting here expecting to get paid for just sitting here."

[Kaia Galanos]

"If you have any way to find your own leads on it, that would help. Who knows, we might find completely different pieces of crucial information."

Her only worry would be their current location. If it didn't happen here and since it was a while ago, would anyone else know anything? Was that sort of information blackmarket-worthy, even? It was something only the Gods really knew details about back home. Maybe that made it valuable? Ugh, she didn't know.

"If I get the who, maybe you can find a why. I don't know..."

[Miya]

Miya nodded.

"Well, until then. Do you want me to see if I can dig up any other possible leads on your dead god?"

[Kaia Galanos]

"That's what I said, wasn't it?" Kaia would shrug, then nod.

[Miya]

Miya would shrug then get up and stretch.

"Sorry, boss, but you're kinda talking round in circles. So, it's a little hard to track sometimes. Anyways, I'll go out and see if I can't find a route that doesn't involve Assassination. As I said before, that ain't my cup of tea."

With that Miya would go walk out the door unless stopped!

[Kaia Galanos]

Kaia lets her leave, staring evenly at the door she'd gone through.

"What circles? All I said was we might find different pieces of info..."

There's no one there to hear her complain though, and there's quite a few hours before her meeting. Kaia gets some rest for now. She'd have to be able to stay up at night.
