The man ran through the rain, his pursuers hot on his trail. I have to run... I have to escape! the man thought as he turned to see three shadows gaining on him. Jack had been tracking this man for days now, having already disposed of his two partners earlier. He had been contracted to dispose of the three of them but this one had escaped him after his body guard had killed the man he sent to deal with him. It didn't take him too long to catch onto his sent, his wolf did the rest. Jack grinned as they turned the corner once again catching sight of the man ahead. Turning to look at his partner Jack growled a command "Go around and cut him off" the man nodded and took a sharp right bounding down some other street deep in Crow territory. They had slipped by the sentries guarding the area, but more and more it was beginning to have signs of a military like complex. He had heard rumors of patrols and a make shift militia type organization but he had seen no sign of it as of yet. His wolf by his side Jack made a hissing sound and that was all the command the wolf needed as it sprinted away. There was no where else to go the man had ran into a main road it was perfect for the wolf to sprint after and hunt down his prey. Jack too increased his speed keeping up with his wolf as they both attacked the man, his wolf biting his calf while his large arms wrapped around the man and tackled him to the ground. There was a tangle but Jack and his companion overpowered the man. Wrenching the blade from his hands and slamming his skull into the ground. A few seconds later his partner came jogging up to him panting from the sprint. "Zip tie his hands and get him to somewhere out of the way we don't have long." They also gagged the man so he didn't scream Jack, tore his shirt off so his bare chest was exposed. "I have no ill feelings toward you friend, this is just business." it didn't make the man feel any better he started crying, pleading for his life through his mouth gag. Jack's wolf let out a vicious growl as he placed on of his paws on the man's chest thrusting his face in front of him showing the man his teeth. Undoing the clip that attached his cleaver to his belt Jack made a clicking sound and his wolf came back and sat by his left side, he scratched his loyal companion behind the left ear before making his way to the man. As Jack raised his blade up high the man let out a squeal and soiled himself, the stench was horrible but Jack kept hacking away at his chest, the hook of his cleaver penetrating his sternum. Placing his left foot onto the mans chest he heaved back and tore a hole through his chest cavity. Reaching in Jack tore the man's heart out with a sharp tug and threw it to his wolf who devoured it greedily. After he hacked the man's head clean off and turned to his companion who handed him a white towel to wipe his face clean of blood. "We're done he, take the gag and his head and let's be gone." tossing the towel down to the ground. His man placed the head into a cloth sack and look to Jack for more directions. "Right, go and drop that at the office and take my wolf with you. I have another job that needs to be taken care of". The man nodded and walked off the way they had come with Jack's wolf in tow. Jack moved off into another direction, moving quietly yet swiftly toward the outskirts of the crow territory.

Jack and his crew thought they had the run of the place, slipping past the Military sentries. Little did he know that the Sentries job was to keep an eye out for Possible attacks from Barker first and foremost, Call it in and prepare to repel, awaiting reinforcements. One of the sentries in fact HAD caught sight of Jack and his big wolf and not knowing whether it was an infiltration by Barker agents or not, Erred on the side of caution and called it in.
For the strange and bizzare situations that needed a quiet touch, The military would unleash the wolves. Marcus didn't mind at all though, it gave his team a chance to sharpen thier investigation skills. Lord knows for what he hand in mind for them, they were gonna need all the practise they could get.
Wearing Dark green rain ponchos that looked black in the darkness, Marcus, Silent, Bucket and Sarah took to the streets since the area was too flat and the buildings too low to make overview more a liability than a boon. Silent was the first to find them. So unnassuming. So quiet as she stalked the group from a distance, Calling out thier location on the Radio with deft taps on the mic in morse code as Marcus and the others positioned themselves to cut the group off. Moving like shadows the pack would work fast, cordoning off the stretch of street the group had stopped at and began to close in.
Marcus wasn't quite sure what was going on and so had his team move cautiously, which was why he was too late to save the man. As he watched the heart being plucked out, Marcus let loose an angry growl that the large dog that paddled along with one of them could easily hear. As far as Marcus was concerned, NOBODY had free reign to kill in his territory.
"Wrong!" Marcus' voice boomed like thunder as he approached, most of his body and face hidden underneath the rain poncho. "What you're going to do is stay right where you are, get the FUCK on your knees and put your hands on your head!"
His mellow brown eyes sharpened into icey flints as he stopped a respectable distance away from them. The other three would be down the other side of the road closing in, effectively cutting off all escape. "I don't know what business you had with that poor gentleman and frankly I don't care. You slipped into Crow territory and did Murder this night and unfortunatly for you little shits that gives me the Authority to haul your asses in. So we can do this one of two ways. The easy way, where you surrender now and follow us, or the fun way, where you TRY to resist, I kick the everloving shit out of you, and THEN haul your asses away."
Marcus crossed his arms and sniffed. He didn't recognize any of these guys. They didn't look Barker, but than again that didn't count for much. "Well Gentlemen? What's it gonna be?"

Jack's hands instinctively went up into the air usually guns were pointed at you when this shit sort of happened but then he realized there were no more guns anymore. Jack's wold growled on command Marcus would be rushed by the three of them but he had no idea how many there were. "Come friend, we have no quarrel with you. This man is a wanted criminal and I was hired to bring him to justice."
He turned around slowly, his man armed with a lead pipe his Hybrid- Wolf it's teeth. "I think this leaves us at an impasse doesn't it? We've completed our assigned task and brought the man you let slip on by to justice so now we're merely debating on who gets to tug off who". Taking a step closer as he moved his coat out of the way so he could unclip his blade at any time. "So how much does your job mean to you, to risk dying for a criminal, rapist, murderer and pedophile." Taking another step forward and to the side Jack spoke again "There's just one thing bothering me see, you said us but there's only you." smiling "Oh I'm sure that there's others around but that's not the point right now there's just you and us and I'm a busy man so busy in fact that to waste the time it would take to come along with you, may very well cost me my next target. Jackie boy misses his target he misses his pay and if that's the case you might as well kill me because I'll fucking bring a torch to this place"
The look in his eyes gave away everything. He was not lying. " So, you have to the count of three, to lay down face first toward that wall" pointing to the farthest wall. "one."

Something about the man, that irritating arrogance, that hyper aggression and that accent left Marcus with a rather uncomfortable feeling that he knew this man, yet just could not place where. The intruders words made the man's upper lip twitch into a sneer, his rant making him wonder whether the intruder was just plain insane, or stupid. Shaking his head, Marcus looked to the rest of his team and raised his voice. "Watch the others. I got this." Illiciting nods as the others closed in and spread out. Silent looked worried, that Big dog of thiers was making her nervous. It looked just the right size to gobble her up in two bites.....
"That can be arranged." Would be the last thing Marcus would say before he began to advance upon the man who thought he could grandstand in the middle of Wolpack territory.
Narrowing his eyes, he concentrated on the apparent thug for hire, feeling the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end as he felt the hidden power the man held. Good, this was going to definatly be worth his time. Not allowing the man a chance to get to two, Marcus struck like lighting, closing the gap with a few leaping steps before planting his leading foot down hard and unleashing a quick uppercut to the mans ribcage.

Jack had never planned to let the count get to three, strike hard and strike first. As soon as the word left his lips Jack launched himself forward surpassing Marcus in speed. The count to three had been a trick, it meant one target. His hand moved in a lightning quick fashion unhooking his blade and bringing it up poised to come slamming down onto Marcus' skull. His man flanked him and Jack moved straight for Marcus intent to take a much ground as possible. As he lifted his blade it began to pulsate almost bubble. When it reached it's pinnacle a black veil erupted around them, the world would move alarmingly to everyone within the area and quick their movements obscured and slow in comparison to Jack who seemed to increase his speed dramatically.
His downward slash was a feint instead he cocked his hand back, bent low in the knees and dashed to his right hooking his blade around in a reverse spin, to slam the blunt of his blade against Marcus' ribs. If the god's were good he would break Marcus' ribs and slam him into the nearest wall. Creating the space needed for his man to get away.
This wasn't going to be the end for Marcus, no against his wishes his wolf dived in after Marcus, latching it's mouth around his ankle thrashing his head left and right trying to tear chunks out of the man's skin. As long as the wolf latched on it should cause enough damage to render Marcus periodically immobile.
If all had gone to plan Jack would spin around and slide back passed Marcus. His man should be sprinting for the border it was imperative that he got the head back to the office otherwise there was no way to confirm the kill had taken place. That would be worse than dying. "Enough" he whistled and his wolf would release Marcus and come padding back to him, on guard and growling.
"You've all underestimated me ... " A cold voice echoed around "I am Jack O'Connor fear me" that was all he would say, he was prepared to attack the group, Marcus if he got up or even retreat after his man. What ever the scenario was he was ready to fight and die.

FWUMP
An arrow would seek to embed itself in the throat of the wolf latching it's fangs into Marcus' flesh. If the animal was still attached to Marcus at this point, the barbed tip would likely find it's mark amongst the dense, lovely fur, piercing the animals throat.
Upon a rooftop would be a vague silhouette hunkered against the dim light of the stars. The arch of a bow and the shifting ebony hair might be visible against the skyline.
She didn't want to hurt the poor wolf; they were beautiful, dangerous creatures. But the bottom line for her was that her love was in danger...her 'mate', as Marcus may have called it.
Slowly, languidly, she nocked another arrow, eyes never wavering from the battle going on below. But she would remain silent and wouldn't interfere with Jack and Marcus. She was only evening out the odds.
Not unless she needed to.

The gods would NOT be good this day. As Jacks men flanked him, they would in turn be flanked themselves by Marcus' crew, who would dive on the three men and subdue them if they tried to run or fight. Having seen enough examples of Qi and Qi like abilities, The veil thrown around them hardly phased the man as the two combatants closed the gap.
The man was FAST. Almost blindingly so, but all the speed in the world can't help you if your moves were so very telegraphed. If the man felt that a weapon was his only way of making the odds even, then so be it. There was no point griping about it. He considered himself an unarmed master anyway.
And now was the time to prove it.
As the man went right, Marcus would weave to the left, Stopping the mans wild swing by simply bringing his foot up and planting it HARD on the blunt end, Negating the mans strength with his own as a shockwave of force erupted at the point of impact, sending debris and dust up into the air and away from them. Marcus would give a mocking low whistle as he sensed the killing intent of the wolf comming on his flank.
If Delilah's Timely shot didn't stop or deter the beast, then Marcus would disengage from Jack and sommersault backwards, Planting a hand on the ground while grabbing the poor pooch by the scruff of it's neck in the other. With a midair twist he would then send the Wolf flying into a dumpster before landing on his feet and facing his opponent.
Marcus' eyes went wide. Jack was a notorious man from his past and the pair shared an intense friendly (And many times not so friendly) Rivalry between each other. But this man before him was nothing like the Jack he knew back then........
"Yeah? Marcus Prasad. And you sir, are full of shit." Marcus would then be off like a rocket yet again, closing the gap and aiming a wild Haymaker that would quickly be revealed as a feint as Marcus canceled out at the last second in favor of a burtal spinning Elbow to the side of the head of the man who dares call himself Jack.

OOC: Marcus' wisdom returns to normal (gains 15% back)
Jack's strength increases by 2
IC: As soon as his blade was stopped by Marcus' foot he didn't stop his motion, he didn't even bother to fight with him. Instead he let go of his blade and continued his spin, picking it up on the completion of his rotation now holding his blade in his left hand and in a reverse grip. It had to be quick, sharp and well timed.
While Marcus was standing on one foot and Jack continued to spin around to face where Marcus' men were trying to flank them. Of course being only wall on their far right hand side there was not much room for movement so as long as Jack moved quick he would be able to cut them off and save his man but he had to be in sync with Marcus. If he went too early Marcus wouldn't get distance between them if he went too late he would put himself too far behind Marcus' men.
His feet moved like a flash closing the gap between his man and the so claimed wolf pack, this occurred as soon as Marcus began to somersault away. The letting go of the blade and continuing his spin all happened simultaneously, or slightly delayed in comparison to Marcus' somersault. But he would hold onto the blade long enough to give Marcus the resistance he needed to vault away and then progress.
Moving to the closest person to Jack who was pursuing his man with the head in the bag. In comparison Jack's speed would be on a different planet to everyone else apart from maybe Marcus. He moved as blurs as for his useless halfwit all he did was run, that's all he had to do, just run all the way to the office. Jack would bring his blade up and under aiming to cleave the person's limb off.
During this mayhem an arrow whizzed passed Jack's wolf's nose, stopping the wolf in it's tracks. He turned his head and growled in the direction that the arrow had come from and snapped it's teeth. Before looking at Jack now stuck in no man's land unsure of where to go.
OOC RECAP
With the battle so far as follows, Jack and Marcus previously fighting in the center and Jack's man fleeing on the far right (looking at it from the wolf pack's perspective). There was the majority of the room on Jack and Marcus' left until Marcus decided to somersault over to that direction. So now it was Marcus on the left, the wolf pack in front of them fanning out. Jack was in the center with his wolf in front of him and the reminder of the wolf pack. On the right hand side was Jack's man running away and one or more wolf pack members chasing him.
IC:
Jack would easily be able to out pace Marcus' first man (for arguments sake it's Silent) as the man was attempting to grab onto Conrad. Jack would flash his blade directly up cleaving the man's arm off at the elbow. His cleaver easily cutting through the limb as if it were butter left out in the sun. If the man's arm was not extended out Jack would instead slash vertically to take him from the stomach up under the armpit and through the chest cavity.
Which ever happened Jack would continue moving to his left (the battle's right) If he had taken the man from the belly and up. His hand would thrust inside his abdomen and pull out his intestines, before pushing him away and glaring at those who remained. If He had taken off his arm, Jack's cleaver's spike would be thrust under his chin, using his body as a shield from the remaining wolf pack, his wolf guarding him against Marcus, for the time being he would changed the grip on his cleave and in one swift motion rip the man's jaw from skull. Letting the man fall to the ground Jack would then say his line "I am Jack O'Connor fear me".

There was absolutly no way Marcus was going to let some madman slice up a member of his pack right infront of him. So as Silent, being as nimble and small as she was, sensed A great and terrible force gunning for her at high speeds she did the only thing sensible at that moment.
She slipped behind the man she was holding, Putting him in between Jack and her. If jack were to continue his strike, he would have to cleave through his own man to get to Silent.
Marcus on the other hand wanted to redirect Jacks attention and so Started running at high speed, KICKING Jacks wolf towards Jack like a rocket if the mongrel got in his way.
As he closed the distance, he quickly hissed into his radio. "Drop the others and Fall back! I am NOT losing you guys to this fucker! Wake the others up and track the small fry. I wanna know where they came from!"
The others would Nod and cast one last worried sick look at Silent before slipping into the shadows.
Just in time for Marcus to come to grips with Jack with a full body tackle. If Marcus took Jack to the ground, he would mount the man and begin ground and pounding with a hurricane of fists and elbows.

Cute he thought as he stared into the eyes of Silent. He knew what she was trying to do but he doubted how fast she could do it.
With a sudden burst of energy taking his speed to his maximum Jack lunged forward. He doubted she would be able to dodge or maneuver out of the way for this, he does after outpace her nearly five to one.
He would use the blunt tip of his blade to slam it into her face, pushing her off Conrad who was also legging it away from her and the wolf pack. Sidestepping him only ever so slightly he would continue his assault spinning in a anticlockwise direction as he aimed to cleave her head right off.
This wasn't the end of it, as her head fell to the ground Jack would kick it on the volley toward any one of the remaining wolf pack members. Facing the group at an angle Jack would raise his blade up almost in a fencing like stance and say his line "I am Jack O'Connor fear me".
Due to differences which can not be resolved this thread is terminated.
