It's been a while since Mitsuki's talked to anyone in her contacts. Actually, if she still had the same phone with her, she'd be able to easily leave a message on Mr. Blaze's phone, asking if she could perhaps have a word with him. Unfortunately for herself, she had to take a longer route; track down his file from the main office, get his locker number, write a quick note asking to meet at the Corner Cafe between so and so street on a Saturday morning, hopefully, when he was not busy with anything to do. If not, then she left a number on the sheet of paper for him to call - perhaps then they could reschedule? Either way, Mitsuki dressed herself appropriately for the hot summer weather. Black jean shorts along with a fitting graphic T-shirt that fell off of her right shoulder, a black tank top underneath. A pair of black sneakers snug on her feet... Lately, Mitsuki has been dressing rather well for a female; most would assume that, now that she was a senior, she was dressing more appropriate for her age.
She glanced briefly at her phone before pushing the door open to the cafe. She was nearly half an hour early, but that's only because Mitsuki wanted some quiet time to herself, get a cup of green tea to get some caffeine in her. She hadn't received a call from David, so she assumed he was coming. In actuality, she wasn't asking him for a date or anything; actually, far from it. Andrew and Reita were both very helpful when it came to combat, but their knowledge was limited, as they were both more experienced in weaponry.
David Blaze, on the other hand...

"Your early too?"
He took his seat across from her, setting the small peice of paper down on the table between them. He didn't look at it, instead looking to the waitress and requesting a bottle of water. It was a surprise, to him, that Mitsuki had asked to meet up with him, but not unexpected. He knew it was only a matter of time before thier paths crossed, and he was glad she tried her best to make it as civil as possible- he would have hated for them to meet when one of them had gone off the deep end for a day- it was not a fight he wished to get into, because both would come out with more than a little damage...
He recieved his water, unscrewing the cap as he spoke.
"So, Captain-" he took a drink. "What can the humble Mr. Blaze do for you?"
He honestly had no true idea why she had called him here- he had a few thoughts on the matter, but none were likely, so he would simply sit and wait for her to speak.

"Your early too?"
She had been so engrossed in her thoughts that she barely noticed David Blaze when he spoke to her. When he sat down in front of her, however, was when she realized he had arrived. Snapping out of her thoughts, she stared at the young boy, nodding her head in silence; had he been here the entire time? Was she getting rusty? She didn't even bother checking the room if anyone suspicious was inside, nor did she check to see if David had been in the room when she entered. She mentally scowled at herself for being so careless, and the day just started. He got his water, and Mitsuki already had her tea. She parted her lips to speak, but no words came out, for she did not think of how to start her request.
"So, Captain- What can the humble Mr. Blaze do for you?"
A thin smile crossed her face. Though she and David weren't friends, they weren't enemies either - acquaintances, yes, but it was a nice feeling to have human contact other than her brother and Andy. She tried contacting Oleysa, but Mitsuki could not reach her at the flower shop.
Mitsuki went straight to the point.
"I need your help," Mitsuki said, eyes staring directly into his. She knew he physically surpassed her in ability, and definitely had more experience in combat as well. She also knew he had Qi, and probably knew more about the concept of having 'special abilities' more than herself - more than Reita and Andy, who did not know of her 'powers'.
"...or specifically, your guidance..." she continued.
He could ask why it took her so long to ask for help; could ask why she needed his specifically. Hell, he could even deny, and she would be understanding of his decision. She just didn't want to pass up the possibility of getting trained under him; didn't want to live with, 'What if?'
What if she got David's help? Would she be able to do things easier?
Questions like that.

David didn't smile or let anything show on his face, though memories from thier first meeting crossed through his mind.
He was at her locker, offering to her his services should she need them. It was at that point he knew that, though he was more experienced, she was a great fighter, and had potential to be one of the greatest ever. He wasn't scared of this fact- in time, she would grow to be better than him in every aspect, and though if they fought now he felt he would come out on top, it wouldnt be as easy as it would have been before- hell, he was far less sure of himself in winning. He felt he could, but its was so in the air, everything was, that he questioned what exactly he was now capable of. Sure, he was strong, but it wasn't like she was weak. She had the Capabilities, she had the abilities, what would she need from him?
He had been generally keeping a low profile on campus, mostly due to the new Dragon and the current lack of fighting and dissent. Still, it touched him slightly that she had thought of him to go to- most would be too proud, too confident in thier own prowess to ask for help. It showed she had character, and was worthy of the title given her. He was proud, for now, to call her Captain.
He raised an eyebrow.
"I'm flattered that you came to me, though honestly im slightly confused. Are you asking me to teach you how to fight better?" He smiled charmingly. "Because truthfully, your the Captain here. Your a damn good fighter already."
Asking someone to mentor you could mean one of several things in a persons eyes. It could mean they think you are better. They could think of you as a mentor. A figure of worth, statute, etc. They could fear you and want to know your secrets. David, however, felt inside that she was reaching out to him not because she thought him better in every aspect or because she feared him, but that she felt he had knowledge in certain areas that she didn't possess, and being friends or close to it he may be willing to divulge such information.

"I'm flattered that you came to me, though honestly im slightly confused. Are you asking me to teach you how to fight better? Because truthfully, your the Captain here. Your a damn good fighter already."
Mitsuki scoffed, "Now I'm flattered."
She mentally sighed, taking a sip of her green tea, collecting her thoughts before she would start speaking. To others, it may have been fairly simple to explain her situation, but Mitsuki was not used to going to others for help. Where it may be normal for some people to simply ask for help, Mitsuki thought her way of wording it sounded weird. Of course, the way Mitsuki wanted to say it was completely normal, but with her lack of social interactions, the young, anti-social Asian was having a bit of a hard time. Though, it's not like it showed on her face; she seemed as if she was just being contemplative.
"Well...teach me how to fight...with Qi," she said, looking up from her tea, "If you have time, I can show you the Qi's that I have..."
Yes. She said Qi's.
As in plural.

David leaned back a little. This was most unexpected. Qi was something he had a vast experience in, true, but how could she know that? The abilities of each individual varied greatly, and though he had seen more than his fair share in his time, he wondered what about her Qi should would need help with. Then she dropped as bomb. Qi's? As in multiple? His eyebrows shot up, his lips slightly parting. He licked them, trying to soften them up before he slowly leaned back in to try and make sense of the information she had just divulged.
"What do you mean, Qi's? You have more than one?"
This was a dangerous subject. If he wasn't careful, and he showed her how to use these...abilities...she might very well use them on him, and then he would honestly have no chance. Of course, it all depended on what she did, what she became. If he trained her hard and she became better than him, wouldnt that show him that he was lacking? That he couldnt take on the next level of powerful individuals? He was mulling this over in his head, watching her as she would begin to explain.

"What do you mean, Qi's? You have more than one?"
His reaction was expected. During the course of Mitsuki having her Qi, she soon came to realize that everyone is expected to have one, and only one, that perfectly fits their body. And if not, then their body would be able to adjust smoothly with practice and time. Mitsuki Park, however, was known to adapt well in situations, and it may be the reason why the Copy Cat Qi was in her blood. And the fact that she was only allowed to copy one Qi to begin with should have been a warning to Mitsuki, that she was only allowed to copy one to begin with, but with technology these days, she's now able to copy six at a time.
"...it's.." Mitsuki started, her eyes wandering around the area. She was not exactly fond of sharing information to the public.
"Could we perhaps talk in my car?" Mitsuki asked, "You can drive, if you want to." She added that last bit knowing that he may be a bit reluctant to go into a car with a stranger - even though she was an acquaintance, it was still a bit fishy.
"Or if you have a car," Mitsuki started...
They needed a car, because she had to take him to an isolated place where she would be able to demonstrate what she meant.

David glanced around when he saw her doing the same, some people looking there way, others simply eating or talking as though they were none existant. He didnt really worry about such things, but he could tell that this was obviously something she wished to have left unknown. He held out a hand. "Lead the way, your car is fine." He did have a car, but the driver was taking it home, since he was opting to have a little excersize in walking there after thier talk. However, it was apparent that they had other things to attend to, and he couldnt deny that he was interested in this new outlook- perhaps he had been underestimating her this entire time.
Maybe, from the beginning, she could have torn him to shreds and he was just plain clueless.
The thought made him grin.
How he did love a challenge.

"Lead the way, your car is fine."Then she would assume he would let her drive, and that he trusted her enough to do so. She would, without a moment's hesitation, stand from her seat and take her green tea with her. She did not want to simply throw it away, because it would have been a waste - and besides, her new favorite drink was green tea, excluding water. Her car was parked on the street right in front of the cafe, and she unlocked her BMW M6. She was a sucker when it came to fast cars, and figured it was in her genes since her biological father was the one who bought it for her. Her seventeenth birthday having been in the past two weeks? Yeah, this baby was brand spanking new, and although most would think her to be a spoiled kid, in truth, she probably was. But the reason why there was so much money in her bank account and why she had all these nice gadgets was because her parents were in Japan. So her dad's way of saying, 'I love you, happy birthday' was, 'Here's a car. Have fun with it.' So, enough with explanations. She unlocked the car and stepped in; the reason why her car was white was because if anyone keyed her car, it would be difficult to see. And you know what? She could just paint over it with white-out anyway. Once he got into the car, she would pull out and make her way out of town. It would be twenty some minutes of driving, and in those twenty-some minutes, Mitsuki would explain and hopefully be able to answer the questions that David might ask. "I'm taking us out of town. There's this place I found that's pretty much abandoned where I can show you the Qi's." She didn't say " my Qi's"...she said 'the'. Meaning, it didn't belong to her. "I have some kind of copying Qi," Mitsuki answered, as if that would explain her excellent memory. "The lightning Qi I have does not belong to me. I copied that from Leon, the enforcer," she said. And she continued, "My Qi only allows me to copy one Qi at a time." So then the question comes up - how the hell would she have multiple Qi's then? Which she would say before he even got the chance to ask, "...but I have specially made contacts that allows me to store memory - for a lack of a better phrase - of five more." Was this too much to take in all at once? Possibly. She shifted her gears and sped up; they would be pulling onto the highway, and Mitsuki had a habit of going over 100mph. She had a radar that would detect other police in the area, so she never worried about getting caught. So she figured now that he might wonder what Qi's she had, if she was allowed to store six? "I have Unfettered's Qi... I have Gabriel's Qi. I have that blonde boy's Qi from that one incident at school." She stopped for a moment, letting him take in all of this before dropping a bigger bomb... She wasn't sure how he would react, but she figured he had a right to know. It belonged to him after all. "And I have your Qi."

David promptly stood, following her out to the slick little car she had parked. He let out a low whistle- David, being a huge fan of fast cars, was most impressed, loving that they had that in the common. He hopped in the passenger side, placing the water bottle into his lap as he buckled himself. He grinned as they took off- the girl drove like she knew how to race, and racing was a favorite pass-time of his. He listened as she explained what was the reason behind thier leaving, and told him of each individual Qi she had. David was watching the speedometer, however, and so when she hit a hundred he just shook his head silently and smiled. Then, of course, he remembered everyone she named, wondering why she had gone suddenly quiet.
They were strong people, and her having the Qi shouldnt make a-
His head snapped over when she said she had his Qi. He stared at her for a long time, wondering how long she had it for and when she had gotten it. He didn't like it- her having his abilities only made him far more wary of her, and the added boost she would be getting from this would not be pretty. Well, it would be pretty for her, but-
He faced forward, clearing his head and rationally thinking this through.
"They are all very powerful Qi's. I won't ask how you got mine, i will however ask-" He looked over at her, pausing. He would let the silence hang there, make her think that he was angry, or like he was going to ask her to forget it or erase it.
"-I would ask that you refrain from using it until you really need it." He sighed. "My ability gives me untold amounts of speed, but its dangerous." He didn't tell her that, if used, it would leave her with barely enough strength to walk away. Why? Because he didnt want her to know of his weakness. If he didnt activate his ability, he could stand on his own for a very long time. However, once his Qi was activated, he had to finish the fight as quickly as possible, and make sure not to get into another one the rest of the day, otherwise...well, he didnt want to think about it.
He watched as they pulled into a small area, abandoned and open. He got out of the car, following her a little ways before stopping and folding his arms.
"Lets see them then."

"They are all very powerful Qi's. I won't ask how you got mine, i will however ask-"
The silence was overwhelming. Her grip on the steering wheel visibly tightened, and Mitsuki let out a quiet sigh. She figured he would be angry with her; she assumed most people would be if someone copied their special ability, because then it wouldn't be so special anymore, would it? But he said nothing about erasing or 'deleting' whatever memory she had of his Qi. Instead, he told her something that took her completely off guard. She was surprised, but she took his words as a warning - and she would take it to heart. Who else would know his Qi more than himself? Mitsuki sure didn't, and she figured that Qi was kind of like a one-of-a-kind deal.
"-I would ask that you refrain from using it until you really need it. My ability gives me untold amounts of speed, but its dangerous."
She would then step out of her car and lock it. They were in an open area, big enough for Mitsuki to demonstrate the Qi's, but small enough to make it near unnoticeable.
"Lets see them then."
She frowned. This was the more difficult part. She outstretched her hand, and, after her eyes flashed silver for a brief moment, a bolt of lightning stuck the ground. It wasn't big, nor was it small; probably the length of her leg? Her eyes trailed to David, before her eyes turning silver once more. She crouched to the ground, going onto her knees, her eyes still that metallic-like color. Her body was adjusting from the lightning Qi to Unfettered's Qi, the one where her bodily temperature drops drastically. Her breathing turned shallow, and no longer was she breathing through her nose, but also from her mouth. Her breath could be seen despite it being 100+ degrees outside (California weather!), and perspiration that at first formed on her neck turned into ice. Her breathing increased, and, hunched over, her hands moved in an unrecognizable pattern. It was the only thing Mitsuki knew how to do using Unfettered's Qi - completely useless in combat.
But she made a rose out of ice. And when she finished, she toppled onto the side of her body, her eyes returning to their normal hues, an obvious look of exhaustion on her face. The reason she was so tired may have been because she was not accustomed to changing Qi's so quickly, which made her wonder if she would be able to show him the blonde haired kid's Qi and Gabriel's.

'Fascinating.'
The thought flittered through his mind. He had seen both these before, and they were mimiced perfectly. He was astounded to say the least, but was also careful to watch her as she felt to her side. He darted forward, catching her before she hit the ground. Using more than one of these at one time probably wouldnt be in her best interest, but he had an idea of how each worked. He would help her sit up before he took a seat next to her and rubbed her back gently, trying to help her feel a little better.
"Well, that was amazing to say the least!" He smiled warmly. "Though my first advice would be to try and refrain from using more than one in a day." He stoof, looking around himself, rubbing his hands together as though he was ready to get to work.
"Okay, well, heres some quick starters." He moved his foot over the soot at the area she shot the bolt of lightning. "This- shooting lightning- is a waste. If you want to use this ability, make sure to be touching your enemies body. Shooting a lightning bolt is definitely going to do some damage, but its no good in a weakened state, because you may miss from being tired, or you may pass out from the energy used." He walked over to where she lay. "If your touching thier body, make sure its at a place that can really effect them, like on the spine, or preferably on the neck, where electrical currents can really get fucked up in thier head." He shrugged. "Other than that, look for uses of water to add effect- if your in the rain, its gonna hurt more. Also, lightning storms could help you channel more of that energy without having to bring it from your own body. We can try that later."
He took a deep breath.
"As for the ice- i would suggest you use that sparingly, even more so than the electricity. You could use it to your advantage by freezing the sweat on an opponent, but if thier aware, you may only get weakened further without any real up side. Also, perhaps as a last resort-" He sat down. " -Freeze the blood and water in thier very veins. It would kill them, but it would get the job done." He winked, like he was joking, but his suggestion was definitely possible. "If your noticing that im saying last resort alot, its for a purpose." He picked at the ground. "Qi isnt something you just use at every possible opportunity. If your fighting someone you know you probably wouldnt be able to beat without it, then yes, using it is good."
"But using it all the time only shows that your weak without it, and you dont want to become dependent on something you honestly dont need in the first place. Always save it, for Qi is the Ace up your sleeve, and should be saved until the pivitol moment of need." He watched her for a moment, judging her, weighing her face and mind.
"This may seem person and out of character for me, but- how have you been lately? Like, honestly. Becoming Captain has its benifits but your....alone an awful lot. How come you dont get yourself a boyfriend or some girlfriends or something?"
Hee waited, watching as she would try to explain and respond.

Mitsuki honestly believed that if she practiced enough, she would be able to switch from one Qi to another without much problem. But the thing is, that would probably require a whole lot of practice judging from how much energy she lost by simply going from electricity to ice. Or who knows? Perhaps it's not even possible at all. He rubbed her back, and although it made her feel better, it also sent some nostalgic feelings concerning family. And, although she was thankful that he even bothered to rub her back in the first place, was relieved when he stopped. Such feelings were unpleasant in Mitsuki's opinion, and so when he got onto the topic of tips and pleasant ways of using her Qi for the quality and not the quantity, she took it all to heart. She would certainly keep in mind of all that David had said - and she would not forget. Her excellent memory would not allow her to.
And she would especially not forget that she should use her Qi sparingly. She realized then that a good chunk of her fights? Well, she used the lightning Qi, and realized how dependent she was becoming of said Qi. So she made a mental note to not use her Qi the next time she fights - it would give her a nice balance between using Qi for practice and actually fighting with her physical prowess.
"This may seem person and out of character for me, but- how have you been lately? Like, honestly. Becoming Captain has its benifits but your....alone an awful lot. How come you dont get yourself a boyfriend or some girlfriends or something?"
^ That part right there?
Yeah, that caught her way off guard. She did not expect him to ask her anything about her personal life, let alone bring it up to begin with. What would she tell him? That she was depressed? She gave birth to a still born child? That the father was believed to be dead, but Mitsuki, being INSANE still thinks he's alive? Would she tell him that the stoic school captain of 259 has been shedding some tears these days? Should she tell him that she was close to having friends, but for one reason or another, just never happened? Her jaw clenched momentarily before she parted her lips, giving a general answer that most others would give when asked how they were doing.
"I'm doing okay," she replied. A bullshit answer, but hey, what could she say?
"I'm just anti-social."

David almost laughed, though he was smart enough not to. He gave a smile instead, bending a little more to get her to actually look up to where his eyes were.
"Yeah, and im Mathew Amtrum."
He got a flash of memory at the name before he tried to appease her.
"Listen, Mitsuki, i know we aren't close. The only real interaction we've had has been me threatening you and you testing me and all sorts of strange partnerships." He licked his lips again. "But if you want i can try and be a friend for at least a little while- you can trust me, i won't go telling everyone whats going on in your life, okay?" He moved over so he was sitting right next to her side by side, then brought his legs up, hooking his arms around his knees. "I don't want to pressure you to try and say whats on your mind though- so if you want to i'll be a little more than a Qi trainer today if you wish."
Offer extended, he could only wait, wondering just what would make a look like the one she had held pass across a persons face...

"Yeah, and im Mathew Amtrum."
She remained silent. He sat beside her with his knees pulled up, and Mitsuki mimicked him, shifting to the more comfortable position in a similar manner. She listened to him talk and gave him brownie points for trying. She wasn't sure what type of friends David had, but temporary ones were not on her list of wants and/or needs. He could be her friend for a short while, but she was not looking for a short term friend. Perhaps she was just thinking too much on his words, but it's the truth. For Mitsuki being in the position she's in right now, well. It would not be a good time to spill her thoughts out because it would come bite her in the ass later on in life. But because her lie was just so obvious, she would let him know - vaguely - of some things going on in her life.
"Two family members died recently. I've only known one for nine months, but we were incredibly close. The other was my boyfriend."
Yes, she considered Andrew Black to be family. But their relationship was a secret, and so it wasn't as if David knew who her boyfriend - ...or was it ex-boyfriend now? - was. That was only a fraction of what actually was going on in her life, and she knew that David knew there was more to it. But she was hoping that David would not push her to release more information, because if he did keep pushing, Mitsuki just might end up spilling everything - which would not be a good thing for her. Not at all.
"I'm alone because I don't exactly have the time for friends. And as of late, my mood has been fluctuating between good and bad."
Or maybe 'OK' to 'FMLSHOOTMEINTHEFACE' was a better way to put it?...
