It was Saturday. Drea moved about almost restlessly in the large training room. She had some music going through the speakers - one of her preferred songs, "Guitar Vs. Piano 1.2." It had a nice beat to it, she thought, and she didn't get caught up in the words because there were none. The fast beat, though, was helpful as she did her warm-ups. The invigorating beat kept her rhythm even and well balanced. She checked the clock on the wall once more. It was still only nine fifty. Mitsukai would be here in just ten more minutes for their training session.

Mitsukai made her way over to the room about five minutes earlier then she was suppose to. It was a strange habit of hers to arrive early to important events such as this one. It would be the second time she would be training with Drea and she couldn't help but feel happy about it. Yes she had lost the first match but this one might be a bit different, and even if it wasn't for sure she would definitely learn the girls style completely now so she would be better prepared for their next match.
Mitsukai quietly stalked in apparently unnoticed to the other girl as she watched her doing her warm ups. Amusement dancing in her eyes oh yes this was going to be fun.

Drea hummed to herself a bit - it was a completely different tune from the music that was playing - but then turned to complete the next step of her warm up. Spotting Mitsukai, she totally fell out of form, nearly falling over as she lost her balance.
"Ah! How long have you been there?! I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting!" her face was tomato red. She was embarrassed. It was rude of her to have kept her guest waiting, especially when Mitsukai had been kind enough to allow Drea to train with her again.
"S-shall we start?"
She didn't have any particular feelings for their training session except for the distinct feeling of anticipation. She wanted to see what kind of moves Mitsukai would use, and the counters that she'd be able to come up with.

"Ah! How long have you been there?! I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting!"
Mitsukai fought back a laugh as she watched Drea nearly fell over in surprise. "Long enough." she teased getting up from the wall she had been leaning againts to come over to her sparing partner now. Sure Drea was a bit of a clumsy fool but she was skilled and Mitsukai would not forget about that when they got started with there next match.
"S-shall we start?"
Mitsukai gave a quick nod in response before leaping into action. She was always the type to start things first and she knew Drea's style was to counter so she doubted that the girl would want to throw the next punch.
Mitsukai aimed a swift punch for the girl's chin before going after another blow to her ribs. If this had been successful she would then proceed to her next assault, feinting for her stomach and sending her true aim for her rib cage.

"Long enough," her friend teased her, and Drea had to keep herself from fretting. The grin on Mitsukai's face eased her concerns though, and upon asking her question, the other girl had nodded before leaping towards her, moving to punch her - Drea identified it as a false uppercut in the split-second she had to react before making a move of her own. The reason she'd recognized the feint? The muscles in Mitsukai's shoulders hadn't been tensed, and Drea didn't think that a girl would aim for the face so easily. It was one of the studies scientists had discovered - highly relevant to forensics, really.
She let her weight fall backwards and flipped, inverting herself so she would be supported by her arms. As her feet went into the air, she attempted to kick Mitsukai in the shoulder. She expected it would connect, but wouldn't be too surprised if it didn't. She continued to shift her center of weight until she had turned in a full circle, landing on her feet. She'd be several feet from where she'd started, and she'd land on her feet, fists raised.

Mitsukai had been prepared for Drea's counter so when she had tried to strike her back Mitsukai was able to dodge the attempt. She watched as the other girl fell back. Planning her next move carefully. Mitsukai was the offensive type while Drea was more of the counter type. The contrast would not work in her favor in this situation but that did not mean that she would give up too easily. Though she was the offensive type she also had high evasion, so long as she could anticipate the others counter she could manage to win this time.
Mitsukai lunged again, attempting to elbow the girl in the stomach and pivoting on the ball of her feet she would try to get behind Drea to send a swift kick to her back to make her fall forwards. If this had not been successful she would change her tactic. Going for a uppercut to the chin and tackling the girl into the wall behind her.

Drea had already learned to look at the muscles - and reacted as such. Instead of moving backwards - which she'd found with Izzy and her former encounter with Mitsukai that most enemies expected - she moved to the side. It was usually something they had to correct for - which gave her more time to plan out and set into motion her own moves.
Having dodged Mitsukai's attack and attempt, she spun in a circle, not to revive her usual kick, but to go with a punch. Mitsukai, having moved to attack Drea from the front, would now be at an angle to Drea, and Drea made full use of that.
The odd 146 degree angle they were at made it difficult for Mitsukai to defend against her uppercut, but it wasn't impossible. But with the other girl's placement and body's acting velocity, the force of her movement would ram her right into Drea's fist.

Drea's fist hit it's mark before Mitsukai could make a move to defend herself. She turned quickly aiming a round house kick towards her and then pushing herself forwards at incredible speed she would strike again hard at the girl's chest intending to wind her. If she was successful she would use the moment Drea was recovering to trip the girl and land on top of her. Pinning her hands above her head much like what had occurred in their last match.

Drea took the kick to her shoulder, refusing to acknowledge the pain, though she couldn't deny the momentum the blow had put her into. As a result of the kick and her own movement, she'd fallen sideways - and barely managed to right herself. She'd landed squarely, keeping herself from further hurting her shoulder, and rolled away. Once she got to her feet, she rotated her shoulder, checking to make sure there was no impairing damage.
Once she was satisfied there was none, she flipped forward into a short series of cartwheels, ending with a leap that sent her straight over Mitsukai's head. It was a move meant not to hurt but to dizzy. While the other girl's eyes were on her, she'd become dizzy - the second they closed, Drea would move to attack from another position, whether with a drop kick or a punch. If she didn't close them, Drea would wait until the other girl's dizziness became apparent in her stance - Mitsukai would begin to lose her sense of balance as the signals sent to her optic nerve and visual cortex began to misinterpret the signals.
Once her balance was shot, Drea would launch herself at the other girl to tackle her to the ground from behind, making sure to pin her arms to her sides.

Mitsukai felt dizzy as she watched the girl spin, intending to see what her next move was going to be before she would dodge. Recovering quickly Mitsukai had turned around, just barely dodging Drea's attempt to tackle her. Using this time of off balance on Drea's part Mitsukai would launch herself onto the girl, sending and elbow out to hit her in the stomach with as much force as possible.

Drea gasped for breathe at the elbow to the stomach before promptly flipping backwards. She knelt, a hand on her stomach as she caught her breathe. She would've said she was winded but for the fact that her breathe came quickly.
"Ouch," she said, wincing. She was putting on a bit of a show. The kick would've hurt someone of her stature the amount that she showed, but her constitution allowed her to endure the hit. Of course, it still hurt. Just not as much as it could have.
Still, as she observed Mitsukai, she grinned. It would take the girl at least another couple of seconds to regain her bearings. Drea promptly dropped and rolled towards the girl in a small ball, swiping her leg out as soon as she got close enough to topple the other girl.
As soon as the girl fell, she'd latch on to her.
If Mitsukai somehow managed to evade the kick, however, she probably wouldn't miss the second one that Drea would utilize. If she tried to attack back, Drea was in a position where she could simply roll over and re-construct her attack while Mitsukai recovered.

Mitsukai was sent crashing to the ground. Unable to avoid the attack because her head was still spinning. Damn this was going to be another loss for her at this rate. Now the other girl was on top of her, much like she had been the last time they sparred. Well this was not good, she did not want to lose again so fast, she barely got a hit in this match.
Before Drea could pin her arms down Mitsukai tried to elbow the girl. Using that moment of distraction to roll and push her off so she could break free. If she was successful in her escape she would lunge forward. Striking the girl in her mid section with a fist, then sending a kick to her face.

Drea breathed out the breathe that she'd had in her stomach at the elbow. Despite the hit, though, it didn't affect her as much as it could've had she been unprepared for some sort of counter. As it was, she let out a single "Oof!" before putting the sure-to-be-bruising pain aside.
And then she squashed the other girl, grasping her forearms in a way that the girl's hands wouldn't be of use to her, and nor the strength of her shoulders or elbows. She sat on Mitsukai's stomach so the girl couldn't buck her off with her hips or anything.
She stared at her friend. "Did I... just win?" Her voice was that of an entirely astounded person.

Damn why did all her opponents throw themselves on her like this? Is it because she was so short? It was because she was short wasn't it? -_-.......damn.
And now she was completely pinned and without any real training to learn how to get out of that hold she had lost the fight. Pity that it ended so quickly but with Drea that seemed to be a pattern now.
"yeah you won." she sighed admitting defeat. "Now can you get off of me your crushing me." she teased the other girl. She wasn't too sore about losing, defeat was the way of life, it could have been a lot worse anyway had it been someone else.

"Yeah, you won." her friend said, before teasing her: "Now can you get off of me? You're crushing me."
"Ah!" Drea blinked before immediately getting off of her friend and holding out a hand to help her up. "S-sorry!"
Then, once the other girl was up on her feet, she'd lead her over to the side of the room where an array of snacks and drinks were waiting. They'd chat for a while before she saw the other girl off.
{End thread~! Two EXP to both Mitsu and Drea~}
