Well, Silk had planned on staying in Cali for a while, and by a while, she meant till she decided she didn't want to live here any more. So far most of things on her magical check list inside her head had been done. Buy a house, Check. Find Leon, Check. Meet new people,... fuck...I hate this one. You see, Silk decided to put her shit with Tenchi behind her. She was tired of sobbing at all hours of the night into a whiskey bottle. It was stupid. She shouldn't be so upset over something that happened a year ago. Yes, she felt broken but that was what the traveling was for! It was to fix her. Now in California, nothing here to remind her of her troubles, she wanted to start brand new. Silk knew she was a likable person. She had a ton of friends in high school. Something about her must have been good!
She spent the morning, talking her self up. She was convincing her self that even though she was 29, had three terrible relationships, is divorced and had three failed pregnancies that she was perfectly fine. Then she grabbed a beer. This type of thinking wasn't helping her, she needed the courage that only Booze could provide! After the beer, Silk got dressed. she put on her best. A pair of hip hugging bell bottom jeans, her combat boots, and a red tank top. She looked her self over in the mirror. The silver haired spanish woman had to admit, she looked good. She grabbed her bag and was just about to leave when the sounds of Bandit and Aiko crying hit her ears. They stood behind her wanting to go. With a sigh, she put their leashes on and the three walked out of her home and into the world.
What better way to meet people, than to walk around a new area and get to know it. After about an hour of walking, Aiko and Bandit were set in Silk's purse. She had effectively become lost. Now, she could just open up her phone and turn on the GPS but there was no adventure in that! No! Silk had to do this on her own. She was a self sufficient woman, with goals and a bangin booty! She was all hyped up and proud of her self till something happened. She stopped to read a sign and think about if she had seen it before, now... when she stopped of course she didn't really stop, she just slowed her walking speed down. She ended up walking directly into someone.
"Bah!"
She stumbled back a bit and a phrase she hadn't heard come from her lips in a long time slipped out.
"What the... can't you see people are walking?"
With that, she turned her eyes onto the person she had run into.

Kazuya had been heading down the sidewalk, making his way back towards his motorcycle. His hood up as usual, although his hood hid his face from view, he was able to see the very few people that dared to come out walking in front of him and weave around them accordingly, though the same couldn't be said for the other people.
Just minding his own business and keeping to himself, Kazuya barely felt someone walk directly into him, only when he heard a voice speak, did he notice the girl in front of him. He may have not been sent back from the collision, but the same couldn't be said for the girl.
"...? I'm pretty sure this sidewalk is not that crowded, given the state of the city."

Was this boy sassing her? Did he not know who she was?! Her mouth opened to reprimand him and then her mind went: Toto I don't think we are in Kansas any more.
"Fucking California where no one knows who I freaking am."
She mumbled in annoyance. Her mind laughing at her all the while. Sometimes it sucked being one of those people where EVERYONE knew you, and moving to a place where no one even knew your first name. She wondered how Leon had handled it. Her green eyes would turn to the hooded boy and she would put her hands on her hips.
"No perhaps it isn't, but I was reading a sign and you had a chance to walk around me, but you didn't. So, here we are."
She humphed and crossed her arms under her bust. Bandit and Aiko peeked from her purse and stared up at the boy. Bandit's yellow eyes blinking and Aiko's blue eyes twitching like something was wrong with her. She most likely got into Silk's make up again... damn fox, always eating Silk's face powder.

Cocking an eyebrow as he heard the girl mumble to herself in annoyance, Kazuya would peer down at the girl from the bottom of his peripheral vision curiously as she placed her hands on her hips, though to anyone else, it would appear like he was staring intimidatingly down at her, when he really wasn't.
"... Huh. You always read signs while walking?"
Kazuya deadpanned, his gaze shifting slightly as he noticed two pairs of eyes staring up at him from the purse the girl was carrying... Well, more like one pair of yellow eyes staring up at him and one pair of blue eyes twitching away like on a sugar high. His gaze slowly shifting back to the girl, rustling followed by a furry round black lump popped out from the opening of Kazuya's hoodie, it was Kuro!
[KURO]: "Mew?"

Silk raised a brow at him. Was he sassing her again? What was this boy's problem? She looked up at him, since he was a few inches taller then her. She was actually used to this. Most of her old friends were taller or the same height. It was kind of funny. She was just about to reprimand him for it when a little furry face peeked from his hood and mewed. She blinked a bit and nearly melted seeing the adorable kitten. Both the fox and the Calico's heads popped out of the purse and they began to try and climb out of the purse to investigate this new animal. Bandit was first. Claws dug into her arm as he scaled her and perched on her shoulder like a parrot. Aiko was next, she held on to Bandit's tail with her teeth and let him pull her up. She then sat there on Silk's shoulders like a parrot as well. Both animals just staring and their heads tilted a bit in curiosity.
Bandit: "Meow?" Aiko: "Murr?"
Seeing this... she blinked and looked from one to the other as they sat on each of her shoulders.
"Really? Really? You two act like you have never seen a kitten before."
Her attention returned to the boy.
"And for your information... I only read signs when I end up moving to a new damn place and I get lost."
She huffed and crossed her arms under her bust again. Bandit and Aiko leaned forward sniffing a bit, trying to get the kitten's scent. How odd this must have seemed to passers by and the boy. This was always how they acted though. Years of being close to her, both animals had decided her shoulders were the perfect place to look down on most people. After all... a 5 foot 9 spanish girl was almost like some amazon lady in New york.

And suddenly it was the George Orwell novel, "Animal Farm." Both owner and kitten peering curiously as a Calico popped out of the purse first and scaled up to the girl's shoulder, perching like a parrot. After came a fox, that did the exact same action, except on the other shoulder, as both of them stared at Kazuya and Kuro once more, their heads tilted curiously.
"... Huh. This isn't exactly the best time to be wandering around the city."
[KURO]: "Mew mew."
Sticking his head and front paws out through the opening of Kazuya's hoodie, Kuro would paw playfully at Bandit and Aiko as they leaned forward and tried to get Kuro's scent. Casually folding his arms underneath, Kazuya kept Kuro supported and assured he didn't fall out through the bottom of Kazuya's hoodie. To passersby, sure, it was a pretty odd sight, but Kazuya honestly didn't mind... or care. Stranger things had happened in Long Beach.
"... Sorry about that then. I'm Kazuya, and this Kuro."
[KURO]: "Mew!"

Oh yes... this.. whole... gang violence, Evil man trying to take over the city thing... she wasn't impressed. Silk's facial expression displayed that as the boy told her it wasn't safe to wander around. She wasn't some tourist. He doesn't know... he doesn't know Silk. Calm your pretty little ass down. She told her self trying to keep from snapping at him in a very New Yorker fashion.
"Well... I really don't have much to worry about."
She said calmly.
"Nothing here that poses any threat to me."
Bandit and Aiko blinked at the paw that reached out towards them. Getting excited, Aiko's paw shot out and lightly tapped the kitten's paw. Bandit reached out eventually too. It was almost like the animals were hand shaking or something. Silk looked at her pets like they were nuts. She didn't bother supporting them, they had been doing this so long, if they couldn't find their balance, they deserved to fall. She knew Bandit would land on his feet and Aiko would most likely land on him. Things were fine. The woman seemed unfazed by the claws that moments earlier dug into her to climb up her arm. It was second nature now. If those two hadn't clawed and scratched their way onto her shoulders... then she would be worried.
"I'm Silk" Bandit: "Fts!" Aiko: "Grrr"
Silk blinked and looked at her pets.
"Right right... and this is Bandit, and Aiko."
She said pointing first to the feline and then to the fox. Happy with being introduced, both animals rubbed their faces against her face and made happy sounds. She rolled her green eyes.
"Yes yes... I get it... you are as cute as the kitten."
She smiled at the little feline and reached forward to let him sniff her hand before she rubbed his ears.
"He's adorable..."
It was about this time that both Aiko and Bandit's tails flicked playfully. Aiko's paws kneaded into Silk's shoulder and the brown socks on her paws drew attention to a scar on her shoulder. A discolored circle. The entry point of where she got shot, the exit was behind her in the back of her shoulder. Silk didn't always display it. It had taken her some time to become comfortable with it. Aiko began to lean forward and her paws would slip, acting quickly, the fox slipped her paws into Silk's tank so when she slipped downwards, she slipped right into the tank top and squished Silk's breasts down.
"Aiko!"
Silk said as she pulled the fox from her shirt. The amount of times this had happened in a tube top... too many to count. She sighed and put the fox back up on her shoulder. She was lucky to be wearing a tank top today, otherwise, Kazuya and the people around them would have just gotten flashed. She put the fox back on her shoulder and frowned at her.
"I've told you a million times... stop getting all jittery on my shoulder. Do you see bandit doing that? No. He behaves him self. He sits there and doesn't squirm around."
Aiko's ears lowered and she slumped her head in shame. It wouldn't last long though... her blue eyes twitched again and she would lick Silk's cheek. Bandit just sat there watching the entire seen. He looked bored with it really. Aiko would fall, slip into silk's shirts to save her self, Silk would reprimand her, Aiko would kiss Silk's face and everything would be fine. It was more common place then he cared to admit, because on cold days... Silk's shirts were the warmest places to hide and he and Aiko often ended up in there instead of her purse.

"... Whatever you say."
Kazuya said monotonously, admittedly though, having been around girls that were more than capable of handling themselves, Kazuya could tell this girl was one of them, she could probably handle any gang members that tried to pull a fast one on her, no sweat. Anyone that wasn't impressed by Sean Barker's megalomaniac ravings of taking over the world was not weak, that's for sure.
[KURO]: "Mew mew!"
Translation: High five!
Happily mewing away as Silk introduced herself and her entourage, Kuro would sniff at her hand curiously before happily mewing as she rubbed his ears.
"... I found him collapsed at my apartment door one day, mewing weakly. I picked him up, fed him and released him, since he was obviously a stray. Next thing I knew, he comes to my apartment to visit me every so often, and I ended up adopting him, though I let him come and go as he pleases."
Noticing the scar on her shoulder, Kazuya kept quiet about it, everyone had scars they didn't like displaying, hell, Kazuya's entire upper torso was laced with them. Continuing to keep his eyebrow raised as Aiko slipped and landed right into Silk's tank top, while Bandit looked bored, Kuro was looking at Silk curiously, he was pretty content where he was currently.
"... Since you just arrived in Long Beach, if you want, I can show you around, doesn't matter to me if you don't want to."
Kazuya deadpanned, casually shrugging his shoulders before reaching up and pulling his hood off, revealing his face, as he peered down at her in mild interest.
[KURO]: "Mew mew!"
Translation: "We'll gladly show you around!"

When she was told of how the kitten had been found, Silk looked at Bandit. She remembered when Ianh had found him...she had been out with Tenchi shopping and Ianh found Bandit starving on the street. He took him home, cleaned him up, fed him and gave him to her. Bandit must have remembered to because he soon leaned over and nuzzled her, purring quite loudly. She would take both Aiko and Bandit down from her shoulders and slip them both back into her purse.
"Bandit was found the same way... except he liked being a house cat."
She smiled a little. The imagery of Bandit when she first got him... all tiny and cute like Kuro was now. She liked that memory. The boy would offer to show her and her pets around. It seemed like Kuro liked the idea too. Bandit and Aiko agreed by making their happy sounds once more and sighing, Silk would agree. Just before voicing her self, the boy took down his hood. Now, Silk had been around plenty of guys. That was her entire life as a teenager, so she noticed when one was good looking and that was certainly the case here. Though he did look a good deal younger then her. Well this certainly was a predicament... Silk was a shameless flirt and a tease. She got worse around those she thought were attractive. Well... let us hope the boy isn't jail bait. With a smile Silk turned on those charms of hers.
"You know... that sounds nice. It would be better than me going in circles... that is for sure."

"... I wanted Kuro to be independent and continue fending for himself, I didn't want him rely on me all the time to feed him."
Rubbing the top of Kuro's head with his index finger, he would mew happily up at Kazuya, he truly loved the Japanese boy unconditionally. Hearing Bandit and Aiko happily agree to his offer to show them around from inside Silk's purse once again, he nodded slightly once Silk herself accepted, unfazed by her smile as she flicked her on charms like a light.
She was lucky though, Kazuya was currently a university freshman and a part-time ladder-climbing salary man in his father's company. No jail bait for her! That, and she could flirt endlessly with Kazuya, and he would let her for as long as she pleased. Turning around, his back would now be facing her, as he shoved his hands into his hoodie pockets.
"... Where were you trying to go?"

Bandit did rely on her now that she thought about it. It isn't like he couldn't survive on his own though.. he finds ways to get the food he wants when he wants it. Silk is just more convenient for him. Kazuya turned around and Silk would move to his side. Where had she been going again? She blinked thinking about it. Well... right now... food would probably be good since she had been wandering for a while.
"Well, I left to just get a feel for the city and walk about, but... if you know of any good places to eat... that would be great."
Silk wasn't going to smile all the damn time. It would hurt her face, but, it wouldn't stop her from adjusting her tank top just right so that more cleavage became visible. Silk really wasn't a whore or anything. She had never been that type... but she was wanting a big of an ego boost after all she has been through. It would be welcomed greatly considering at this point her self esteem was pretty low. Besides... she'd give her self bonus points for being able to catch the eye of a younger man. The word she wanted to stay away from right now was cougar, although she did fit the type she guessed.
"Any place really... and I'll treat... it's the least I can do since you are showing me around."

Peering over at Silk from the corner of his peripheral vision as she moved to his side, he would think momentarily while paying no mind to her adjusting her tank top and making her cleavage more visible, or rather, he honestly didn't care, he'd let her do whatever she pleased, no questions asked. "... I used to know of a few good places to eat, until the city was blown to kingdom come that is. I mostly cook and eat at home, but I do know a place that is still intact and has really good Japanese food though." If she was fine with that, Kazuya would head down the sidewalk at a casual pace. After crossing two streets and down one street, Kazuya reached the place, a small but clean Japanese restaurant, as he pulled the door open and walked in after letting Silk go in first. ["Hey Ryuu... Long time no see man..."]A familiar voice would call out, as a guy sat behind the counter, smoking a cigarette. "Hey... Table for two." "Mm... Yeah. Oh? Girlfriend? Cute...""... Ha, ha. Nice thought though." Taking one last drag from his cigarette, Ryo, the guy behind the counter, would put it out, he always never smoked when customers were around.

Silk had no idea that the boy standing beside her was a rather stoic type person. All her life she had been around boys who had strong personalities. Either they were clowns or loud fighters, but someone always did something or said something. This boy was more strong and silent and to be honest... Silk wasn't fully sure on how to handle him. She would figure it out eventually, or at least she hoped she would. It would just take some getting used to.
"Well I haven't found any good Japanese food here in the states, but if you know a place, I would love to go."
Silk would follow him to the shop, and smile softly at having the door held open for her. It reminded her of old times. She always had someone opening the door. Granted, she was sure the boy was just being polite, it was still nice. She heard the boy speaking Japanese and just smiled. She would keep it to her self that she knew Japanese. Though she loved bragging, she also liked to eaves drop and if the boy did talk about her using another language she would understand perfectly and not have him guard his words. The conversation between him and the shop owner made her blush a bit. She put her hand behind her head a little and rubbed it nervously.
"Haha, I actually bumped into him, I was a little lost... he was nice enough to bring me here. Says you have good food."
She smiled at the man behind the counter smoking. Bandit and Aiko knew the rules about going into places that served food and hid away in her bag. They knew she'd be sneaking them some of the food anyway so they were content with this arrangement.
"People here... despite the problems, seem a lot nicer then what I am used to."
She said looking at Kazuya. She was talking about him, but had said it to the man behind the counter. Such an odd woman, she was.

Wordlessly, Kazuya would lead Silk to the restaurant after she had accepted, it was pretty obvious Kazuya was a regular from Ryo's greeting, even though he obviously didn't know Silk knew Japanese. Besides, Kazuya rarely spoke in Japanese except when he was with his father and older sister, or with someone he knew spoke it. As Kazuya peered at Silk from the corner of his peripheral vision, Ryo would flick his cigarette into the garbage can beside him.
"Hey... Can I head into the kitchen?"
"Sure."
Ryo replied, looking rather bored behind the counter once more, cradling his chin in the palm of his hand as Kazuya deposited Kuro on the counter in front of Ryo, and disappeared into the back where the kitchen was.
"Hey, miss... I know he may seem kinda stoic an' all... But he's a pretty together guy, most ways. Could do worse... Heh..."
Ryo grinned as he rested his arms on top of the counter, Kuro looking at the purse Bandit and Aiko were in. The faint sound of clanking and cooking could be heard in the background, Kazuya was definitely a regular all right.
"He's got girls who are friends... But gets silent around any girl he really likes."

She blinked as Kazuya asked to go into the kitchen. When he left her there she looked a little lost, a bit awkward too. This whole thing was a little confusing to her. He must have been a pretty frequent customer here though. She found her self a seat and put her purse down, just as she did the man behind the counter, Ryo was it? Yes... Ryo started to talk to her. Blinking, Silk turned her green eyes over to him and at the man's words she began to blush, though her tanned skin hid the pale pink hue well.
"N-now what would make you say things like that? I'm sure Kazuya doesn't want you telling random strangers he brings in off the street those things."
She said though she was making a mental note of this.
" I mean...it kind of sounds like you are trying to set him up with someone."
She laughed nervously. Was she that obvious? Of course she was. Silk and subtlety never went hand in hand. She reached up tucking her hair behind her ear and fumbled a little with a napkin on the table. Feeling eyes on them, both Bandit and Aiko peeked out of the bag to stare at the little kitten that was watching them. Seeing him out in the open, they too thought it was time to emerge. First Aiko, she hopped out of the bag like her tail was on fire, then Bandit and they both ran towards Kuro.
"Bandit, Aiko!"
Both pets froze in place and slowly turned their heads to look at her. They stood still like if they didn't move she wouldn't see them. Finally, Bandit flicked his tail at her and climbed his way up to Kuro. Aiko followed of course. The two rarely were separated. So they chose now to be rebellious? Figures. Silk looked at the man behind the counter.
"Ah, I'm sorry... I can put them back in the purse if you want..."
She said as she got up and picked her bag up to get ready to put them back into it. Bandit would sit, and lightly tap Kuro on the head with his paw, before Aiko bounded over Bandit and Kuro, only to land behind the Kitten and sniff at his tail before licking it. Aiko was some strange fox, making friends with cats.
