[OOC: First half of this post is to explain Travis' absence.] -Flashback: His leave of absence.- The call had come so unexpectedly to Travis. He hadn't spoken to his uncle in such a long time, but it was pretty normal for him. After all, he was a busy man, and his career in Japan was something that usually kept him occupied. But this call, it wasn't the normal one he usually received every month or so. It was from a hospital in Japan, and the news this call brought was enough to make Travis leave the states almost immediately. His disappearance would probably be considered odd to any friends he had at 259, but his uncle was important to him. They were very close. The doctor who called spoke with sadness in their voice when they told Travis that his uncle was laying in a hospital bed, in critical condition after a severe beating. It didn't make sense at all. Travis' uncle had always been a kind man, someone who had never done anything bad in his life, and yet something like this happened to him. Travis packed his bag that night, and bought the ticket to japan shortly after. After a long flight, Travis would finally arrive in Tokyo, and take the first cab he could stop to the hospital that his uncle had been staying it. It was rough, traveling around alone due to the fact that Travis had not kept up with the Japanese language, and wasn't too fluent with it in the first place. For the most part, he did fine. And he'd make it there without too much trouble. Unfortunately for him, he was being followed. "My name is Travis Delmonte. I got a call that my Uncle, Derrek was currently hospitalized here.. Can I get the room number please?"The receptionist would stare at him for a moment, as if she was trying to make sure she understood him. She would then turn to the computer in front of her and begin to type something. Travis' right hand would begin to tap impatiently upon the counter as he waited. He was worried. If there was one person he cared about in this world, it was his uncle. Spending two years with him had given him time to get to know him, and realized they were a lot alike. It would be hard for him to see him in critical condition like this, but he'd just have to manage. "Ah.. two.. four.. nine.."The Japanese receptionist seemed to be having trouble explaining it, but Travis got what she meant. It was probably uncommon for them to get an American visitor, though Travis wasn't sure exactly. He would give a kind smile, and nod with a 'arigatou'. Then he would allow those boots of his to carry him toward the elevator and begin his trek toward room 249. When he reached the door, he would give himself a moment to calm down, and glance through before he entered. What he saw was very upsetting. It seemed that his uncle had undergone a beating that could only mean it was done by a group of people. After all, Travis knew his uncle to be able handle himself even though he rarely ever allowed himself to get into a confrontation. His head was wrapped up, with only the right side of his face uncovered, both arms were in casts, his right leg as well, and it seemed that he had suffered more damage to his torso. A flash of anger washed over Travis. He didn't know who did this, or why, but he was sure when he found them, he'd beat them tenfold. Another breath, and Travis would carry himself to his uncles side. He wanted to touch him, but he wasn't sure if that was a good idea. After all, he didn't know all the details and didn't really want to risk hurting him further, so he would grip the belt which rested at his waist, with both hands as his knuckles turned white. "Uncle.. It's me.. Travis. What kind of shit did you get yourself into, old man?"He would watch his uncle open his uncovered eye, and Travis would force a smile. But his uncle looked upset, even angry that he was there. He struggled to lift one of those casted arms toward Travis, and let out a few grunts as he tried to sit himself up. In the end, he'd give up and his lips would soon move. "You.. idiot.. Why are you.. here?! The- Gah.. There coming.. for you Travis.. I.. they.. did this to.. lure you here.."What the hell is here talking about? Maybe the morphine drip is fucking with his head..Travis' right hand would leave his belt, and lift up toward the side of his head. He'd give himself a scratch, as he stared toward him uncle. He didn't know if this was some kind of sick joke, or if he should be really worried. By the tone his uncle used, it sounded like Travis was really in danger, and that he had made a big mistake by coming back to japan.. But why? It then hit him like a sack of bricks. And those blue eyes of his widened slightly. It was those gangsters. The ones he had run into during his stay here in Japan for two years. He had problems with three of them, and beat the shit out of two before he was forced to run because the third began to pull out knives. Back then, Travis wasn't nearly as capable as he was today. He didn't quite believe this, that after all this time they still wanted him dead for what he did, when he was simply protecting himself. And they even went as far as to hospitalize his uncle just to get him to come back to Japan. "Ah ha ha ha.. Konichi wa.."That voice!?Travis would whip his body around, and those cold blue eyes would glare in the direction of the door. They would meet a familiar form. One of the men he had ran into, the one who had pulled his knives. Those blue eyes narrowed and something inside Travis would snap. His right foot would lead the charge, and his left foot would follow and plant. Travis' right leg would lift and the heel of his boot would slam against the male's stomach and launch him backwards, through a door and into another room behind him. He'd take a few more steps and glance both ways out of the door. He would be greeted by angry shouts both ways, 6 more males out in the hall. "Tch.. Shit.. What have I gotten myself into.."-BLACKOUT- ______________________________________________________ -Present Day-'Cause you don't know me, and I don't know you..It had been quite some time for that day, thinking about it always seemed to piss Travis off, but he'd try and block it out. It was hard though. He had done some things he never thought he'd do. Stuff that he would probably never mention to another person alive. And because of what he did, he would probably never set foot in Japan again. Not only that, but it was highly likely that he'd face danger here in the US. But he was sick of laying low, and he had an education that he needed to continue. So don't approach me, and I won't approach you..The roar of his motorcycle's engine would come to a halt as he rolled into the parking lot. Those icy orbs glancing about as he tried to re-familiarize himself with the school's layout. He didn't know how much had changed in this place, or what he should expect when he walked through the door, but he wasn't afraid. He was done being afraid of shit. Besides, he doubted that anyone would come looking for him in a place like that. And Travis would finally have a place to go other than staying home. In all honesty, Travis missed this place. He just hoped it was as exciting as it had once been. And don't insult me, I won't insult you..Travis would pull the key from ignition, and make sure that his kick-stand was up. He'd throw his right leg over the bike, and then push himself away from it, and let those boots of his click against the concrete as he maneuvered him body through the crowds and away from the parking lot. His left hand would grip the handle of the entrance door, and he'd pull it open for the first time in a long time. And as he walked through, those hands would lift and Travis would slide them through his hair to make sure it wasn't sticking up or anything. He'd tighten that black leather bandanna of his and then return his hands to his side. A small sigh escaped his lips, and he'd let a few low words out as he wandered down the hall. Cause you don't know what I will, or I won't do.."And so it all begins again.."

Sara stood back and examined her locker, and nodded in approval. It had taken her forever, but she was finally happy with it. Damn OCD... Her locker had been bothering her. So much so that here she was, organizing and reorganizing until she could fnally breathe a sigh of relief.
She turned back to her locked. She reached in and moved something to the side. There. She smiled to herself. There was a feeling of pride in finally getting this small task finished. She normally would have done it sooner, like, her first day, but... This school was just so... What the hell was wrong with this school?! She took a deep breath. She had only been here a few days, and already, she was going insane.
At the sound of the door at the end of the hall opening, she turned. A guy entered, running his hands through his hair, and tightening the bandana. After just a few days, she was already naturally suspicious of everyone in the school. They were all... crazy. She sighed, closing her eyes. She hated to judge people before she knew them.
She opened her eyes and looked back to him, flashing him a smile, and a small "Hi". No one could say she didn't try. She turned back to her locked. She closed the door and bent down to pick up her bag. Grabbing the straps, she picked it up. The moment it lifted off the ground, the straps snapped, the open end falling towards the floor and spilling out everything in her bag onto the floor. Pencils, pens, and paper scattered across the floor.
She looked at her things all over the floor, stunned. Her head dropped, her cheeks burning red with embarrassment. She wanted to cry. What else could go wrong for her? At least there was pretty much no one around... besides the guy.
((OOC - This was written at work with students coming in and out, and i had to keep minimizing and closing and GUHHHH... Sorry if its bad T.T I got the idea from one of the students who just came in... Poor student... *evil giggle under breath* ))

While most people probably wouldn't expect it from someone who dressed much like a biker at such an early age, Travis was actually a king person. He was just honest about most things, and when it came to someone giving him orders, it usually never flew. He was the type of male that did what he wanted, when he wanted it. And that behavior usually landed him on the bad-side of most of the people he met in this school before his absence. It was a good thing that he wasn't in a bad mood. In fact, he finally felt happy about getting out of the house.
Those blue eyes would catch sight of a female down the hall. He didn't know her, and didn't really plan on getting to know her either. She seemed alright, as he approach her simply due to the fact that he had to walk down this hall to reach the resource office. She would look at him, flash a cute little smile and then say hello. He would give her a smirk, with a wink of his left eye as he began to pass her by. Travis would continue to watch her bend over out of the corner of his eye.
She's cute.. Heh
It was then it seemed luck wouldn't be on the girl's side, as she dropped her bag and everything began to spill from it, onto the hallway floor. This wasn't good for her, because soon enough he was sure the students of the school would flood these halls, and she'd never recover everything on her own. With a slight sigh, he'd stop in his tracks, those boots of his clicking slightly as he did so. It wouldn't hurt him to help her out now. Turning, Travis would step toward her, and lower himself down so that he could help her gather her stuff up.
"This kind of thing sucks.. Let me help you."
Travis was sure the girl was embarrassed, hell it always sucked when accidents like that happened. At least he had been the only one to see it, and he wasn't in any mood to make fun of someone over something like this, which they couldn't control. What had happened to her, was the main reason he never carried around a bag. He left everything in his locker, and only took the books he needed to each class, whenever the need arose. He'd gather up what he could hold in his hands, and wait for the girl to take them whenever she was ready.

Ugh, goddammit! Sara stared at her things on the floor. Why did things like this always seem to happen to her? Had she done something to upset some cosmic force that was now out to ruin her life? She stood there, wallowing in self pity. She let her bag drop to the floor wiped her hands across her face. She needed to get it together. Atleast it hadn't been the locker.
She mentally slapped herself across the face. She wasn't one to be all depressed and sad. She was normally the type of person who took everything in stride, and tried to have a positive outlook. The stress of starting a new school, and moving was finally getting to her. She gave her brain a good shake, and looked to see where all her stuff had gone. She needed to hurry before the classes got let out.
She had thought the guy had continued down the hall, probably laughing at her. So when he lowered himself to the floor next to her, disrupting her thoughts, she jumped. She looked down at him. Ya... same guy... She looked around, there was no one else there. Well... That was nice of him.
"This kind of thing sucks.. Let me help you."
She searched his face, expecting some sort of joke, or insult, or something to what he was doing. When she didn't see one, she gave him a small smile, still blushing slightly, and bent down with him, grabbing what she could reach. This is... embarrassing to say the least...
"Thanks a lot. I really appreciate this... I feel kinda stupid, ya, that really sucked." She looked up from her searching. She transferred everything to her left hand and grabbed her bag by the broken straps, pulling it towards her. She began to stuff the things into her bag.
She looked at him again, reaching out gently to take her things from his hands. She would take them, and stuff those to into her bag as she stared at him, grabbing the last few things from the floor. These too were tossed into the bag.
"I'm Sara. Are you... new?" She would watch him as she zipped the bag, standing and clutching the bag to her chest, as she waited to see if he would answer her. She almost expected him to run off like an ass, ignoring her completely. Wouldn't be the first time she had gotten here.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate this... I feel kinda stupid, ya, that really sucked.
Travis would allow those eyes of his to meet hers for a moment, and observe the blush which seemed to wash over here. He understood exactly why she was embarrassed, dropping her things in front of a complete stranger. It was usually around this time that someone who witnessed it in this school would laugh, and probably even step all over her stuff and kick it around. But Travis wasn't that kind of person. At least not at this moment. He had his mood swings just like every human did.
As the girl looked at him once again, he'd give her a kind smile. She seemed harmless enough, which was a slight surprise, because most of the people Travis had met in this school before were violent, even the females. It would bring him back to his thoughts for a moment. He wondered if any of the people he had befriended before were still attending. Travis had no real way of knowing though, unless he managed to run into them. The girl's voice would pull him from his thoughts soon enough though.
I'm Sara. Are you... new?
"New? Nah.. I left for awhile though.. Today is my first day back."
Travis would straighten himself back up, and once he was standing upright, he'd give a small stretch, and then rest his left hand at the back of his neck, while his right dropped so that he could hook his thumb in one of the belt loops of his jeans. He'd scratch the back of his neck for a moment, and shift his weight onto his right foot as he stared toward the girl before him. He had a feeling she was new herself, but instead of just assuming it, he would simply ask her.
"What about you? You look a little green to me.."

"New? Nah.. I left for awhile though.. Today is my first day back."
She clutched her bag to her chest as she watched him push himself off the ground, straightening up and stretching. She considered him, taking in his clothes, and appearance, glancing at him from head to foot. Cute guy. So he wasn't new. She wondered how someone who seemed so nice could be from this school. She didn't think she had come across a single kind person yet. If there had been anyone else in the hall when her bag had dropped, she had no doubt in her mind that they would have laughed at her, maybe even tried to make it worse. And yet, this guy, a former student of this school, who was RETURNING, god only knew why, stopped and helped her. The familiar thought ran through her head again for the umpteenth time this week. What the HELL is wrong with this place?
"What about you? You look a little green to me.."
His question snapped her out of her thoughts. She looked at his face again, considering. "Ya, I'm new here. I only started a few days ago. It's been a little rough." She let out a little laugh, smiling at him. She shifter her bag so she was holding it more comfortably. She noticed his shifting weight and posture. She assumed he was feeling a little awkward and probably wanted to get going. Sara herself had nothing to do, but maybe he did. And yet, she didn't want him to go yet. The first kind person to talk to her, even if it was over something embarrassing. Was it really so bad to want some conversation?
"So, um. Why did you come back? This school... is a little crazy." She smiled and laughed again. "I don't know that I would have come back" she added sarcastically. She didn't want to offend him, just strike up a conversation. Now for the girly move.
Her face would go from smiling and happy to shocked. "I'm not keeping you am I?" She would ask, as she gently reached out to place a hand on his arm. Making contact was good. People liked contact. If you could make contact, the chances of making a friend were better. But it was the question that got them every time. People normally stayed a little longer when asked that question. She would then flash large, innocent, puppy eyes at him. Man, she was getting desperate for some company.

Ya, I'm new here. I only started a few days ago. It's been a little rough.
Rough? This place? Heh..
Travis would smirk when she said that. He couldn't remember the last time he considered this place to be tough. Maybe it was due to the fact that he feared no man alive, and he actually enjoyed fighting. This place was probably one of the best places to go when you were looking for a good brawl. There were tons of willing students around just waiting to get their teeth smashed in. He had seen a lot go down in his life, and he had done a lot of things he should regret. But life was short, and regretting the things he couldn't change wouldn't help a bit.
So, um. Why did you come back? This school... is a little crazy. I don't know that I would have come back
"Well.. I guess it's sort of like an addiction.."
In truth, he didn't want to tell her exactly why he was here again. The events that took place in Japan forced him from that country. He probably wouldn't have been able to live if he stayed there. And even now, while in the states he stilled faced the danger of dying for what he had done. But he couldn't stand staying home, locked up because there was a slight chance a few Japanese gangsters followed him back to California to kill him. It seemed stupid to even think they would do it. But who knew. After all, they had nearly killed Travis' uncle just to get him to go back to Japan.
I'm not keeping you am I?
When the girl reached out and touched him, that arm would twitch slightly, but he'd quickly stop himself from making and rash decisions. Most of the time when someone tried to touch you in the school, they planned to try and hurt you. Travis' body wanted to react, to reach out and touch her with the back of his hand. But he wouldn't do such a thing. She hadn't made any aggressive movements at the time. If she did end up hitting him, he didn't discriminate. He would hit her back. Travis would shake his head, and drop that left arm of his before he spoke.
"No.. I'm already late as it is. It won't make a difference if I show up even later.."

"Well.. I guess it's sort of like an addiction.."
An addiction huh? Her face dropped. She couldn't imagine ever getting "addicted" to being here. This place had so far turned out to be hell for her. She thought back on what had happened the last few days. The fighting, the people... at some points, the fear. She didn't like being afraid. In most cases, she could more then handle herself. She had never hesitated to fight before, never hesitated to defend herself, and back when she was at home, she had rarely lost. But here, life was whole other story. Her life had been easy compared to some of the people's here, and her issues, were nothing compared to theirs. She wondered if this was the case for him. It seemed it might be in the way he shied from the question.
When she reached out to touch him, she felt the muscles in his arm twitch, saw him tensing. She knew immediately that it had been a bad move, and even though her hand stayed on his arm, her body tensed in response, as though expecting him to attack. He shook his head, dropping his arm from his neck. She watched the arm closely, worried it was going to raise against her.
"No.. I'm already late as it is. It won't make a difference if I show up even later.."
Her head turned back to his. She realized she had pretty much spaced out. Her hand was still on his arm, and she dropped it quickly, wrapping it around her bag again. She placed the smile back on her face and looked up at him, flashing her big eyes at him.
"That's great, I was worried for a minute there." She sighed for effect, a bubble of pride in her abilities rising in her. She glanced over his head to the clock on the wall. Class would get out soon, and she really didn't want to be stuck in the hallways when it happened.
She looked in her locker, which she still hadn't closed, and then back at him. Screw it. He doesn't seem to bad... I'll never know if I don't try... She shoved her bag into her locker, slamming the door closed. She had to hold back a growl at having destroyed her perfect locker. She had worked so hard on it. She turned back to him.
"Did you wanna go outside with me? I was just heading out there before my bag broke." She smiled as she asked, her voice filled with excitement.
It wasn't exactly a lie... She would have probably gone outside either way because she couldn't stand being in the school. She would try the contact thing again, her hand moving out to his arm. She would slowly and gently grab it, pulling him to come with her as she took a few steps back towards the way he had come.
She really hoped he didn't go insane on her.... But... maybe that wouldn't be so bad either. A fight might... she repeated, MIGHT, be interesting.

[OOC: Was listening to this song when I posted this.. Not that it matters that much.. o.O] That's great, I was worried for a minute there.Travis would nod. While he wasn't stupid or anything like that, he didn't care too much about his classes. He would keep his grades around the C+-B+ area, and that was good enough for him. Most of the school subjects bored him to death, and because if it he often wondered exactly what the hell he would do outside of school, when he finally graduated. If he actually made it that far in the first place. Did you wanna go outside with me? I was just heading out there before my bag broke.Travis was about to respond when he felt her hand grip his arm once again. It seemed she wanted to head outside, and while Travis definitely did not enjoy the fact that this girl was trying to MAKE him go outside with her, through attempting to drag him, he would not make a scene. After all, he was actually enjoying her company. Though she would have to learn sooner or later that he did things his way, and his way only. No one told Travis what to do. And if you wanted to get him pissed off, then that was exactly how to do it. Keeping those icy blue orbs upon the girl's frame as she began to move down the hall, he would follow her, allowing her to pull him just this once. "Uhh.. Yeah.. Sure. I don't have anything better to do.."-FLASH- It wouldn't take long before it finally hit him. Who this girl reminded him of. Succhi. As he walked, those eyes would close for a moment as he recalled the beautiful Japanese girl whom Travis had met that fateful day some time ago. It had been because of her, that his whole predicament had started in the first place. He had left his uncle's house after his home-school session had finished. Travis ran into that Japanese girl coming out of a convenience store. They had bumped into each other, and it had set off a series of unfortunate events. It's not that Travis had disliked the girl. Actually, he was quite fond of her. But she soon proved to be more trouble then she was worth, when the two of them bumped into Succhi's ex-boyfriend, and his two buddies. An argument between the girl and her ex had broken out almost immediately, and that argument ended with him slapping the girl across the face. Travis had reacted instantaneously, dropping the boy with a right, and moving onto the next one in line. He didn't quite remember the whole fight, but visions of him gripping one of the boy's throats and ramming his forehead against the dudes nose kept popping into his mind. He remembered turning and lifting a heel to stomp the original boy's head into the ground, and that's when the knives were pulled. At the time, Travis wasn't skilled enough to fend off blade wielding foes, and he bolted away. -FLASH- It had all happened because of that encounter. It had been so long since he had actually recalled the events of that day, and it was still somewhat blurry. But those boys had belonged to some large gang in Tokyo, and they had obviously sworn revenge upon Travis for beating them down. They deserved it, for slapping that girl for no good reason at all. There was nothing he could do about it now. Whats done was done, and it was personal now. He hoped they would come after him again for what they did to his uncle. Sure, he had given them hell at the hospital before he took flight back to the states, but he wanted to finish what he started. I wonder.. Will something like this happen again?

She pulled at his wrist, trying to get him to follow her, while her eyes kept flicking towards the clock. A few more minutes and the halls would be flooded with people. She wanted to hurry. He finally began to follow. Finally!
"Uhh.. Yeah.. Sure. I don't have anything better to do.."
She turned from him, keeping a hold of his wrist, glancing left and right as she made her way down the hall. She found that she was blushing. It was like she could feel his gaze on the back of her head. It was kind of awkward. She would normally have let him go by now, knowing he would follow her, but she didn't want to let go of him yet. They had just met, and he might decide not to come. That, and the fact that she wanted to hurry up and get out of the halls, and back outside made her keep her hand on him, pulling him with her. There was something about him that she seemed to enjoy. He intrigued her. He was like a big puzzle, and she enjoyed puzzles.
She turned and glanced behind her at him. He looked kinda spaced out. She gave a little tug on his hand to pull him out of it, and then let go. They were almost at the doors now, and she figured he'd follow her outside now. She jogged ahead to the doors, and pushed through them. She made it outside and looked around. No one was out here. She smiled. Awesome.
She turned around and waited for him to reach her. When he did, she would look up at him, the difference of the stress of being inside compared to outside evident on her face. Her smile would be brighter and warmer, more relaxed, and her voice would have a much nicer pitch to it. Her whole body would visibly appear less tense.
She would look up at him, smiling. "So, any ideas on what to do? Seeing as you've been here before, maybe you know a good place to hang out?"

The little tug did exactly as the girl wished, and Travis would be pulled from his thoughts once more. And even though he would try to push Succhi out of his mind, he couldn't help but feel like it was her dragging him along. Her touch felt the same, and her build was similar. The only major difference was that this girl wasn't Japanese, and spoke fluent English. Soon enough, they would reach the end of the hall, and Sara would release his arm. He would continue on behind her, and slide through the doorway as the doors began to shut.
So, any ideas on what to do? Seeing as you've been here before, maybe you know a good place to hang out?
Travis was glad that this was California, and not New York. After all, he'd be freezing his balls off if that was the case. Instead, the weather was mild, not too hot, but not too cold either. It felt nice, a refreshing change from the atmosphere of the school. His mind would wander once again, but this time it was it wasn't about that incident. Instead, he was trying to recall the campus, and any areas worthy to note. To be honest, Travis had spent much of his time in the halls, or cafeteria wreaking havoc and breaking faces.
"Hmm.. Lets see.. I.. Uhh.."
Luck wasn't completely on his side this day, because he couldn't remember a damn thing about the campus area. He'd lift his right hand to his chin for a moment, and then give the girl an unsure grin. He felt stupid himself, for not know what to do or where to go. Light-bulb! An idea would pop into Travis' head, but he wasn't sure if she would go for it. Those icy blue eyes would stare toward the first for a few seconds before he'd finally spit it out.
"Well.. Why don't we just move to that grassy patch over there.. And why don't you show me how you handle yourself.."
Sometimes it was hard for Travis to express himself to another person. He wasn't really use to doing it with anyone. And the only person he had ever really opened up to was his uncle. But he was curious to see whether or not this girl would be able to survive in this school without help of some kind. Was he thinking of trying to be her body-guard or something of the sort? Not at this moment. It really depended on whether or not she needed the help. After all, this school was dangerous. She needed to protect herself, or someone to do it for her.
"Just for a little bit.. I promise I won't hit you too hard.. Heh."
The best way Travis could express himself to her at this moment? With his fists. Besides, it had been too long since he had any action at all. And by that, I meant Travis hadn't fought someone in some time. 'Course, he would be sure to take it easy and not go all out on her. Unless she really did like it rough..

Sara watched him considering her question. The truth was, she didn't really care where they went, as long as she wasn't inside, or alone. She would follow him into the boys bathroom if that was where he wanted to go. She died a little on the inside at that thought. She wondered where he life had gone so terribly wrong that she was this desperate from someone to hang out with. Oh yeah. When I joined this school. He moved his hand to his chin, flashing her a smile. She smiled back, waiting.
"Well.. Why don't we just move to that grassy patch over there.. And why don't you show me how you handle yourself.."
She turned to glance at where he was pointing, and froze when she heard the second half of his sentence. Excuse me? In most cases, she immediately would have turned around, throwing a fist into his face. But in this case, she paused. She didn't want to give up the chance at her first friendship yet. And on top of that, knowing how strong and insane everyone else was at this school, maybe it wasn't the smartest idea until she was sure of what he meant.
Maybe he didn't mean what she thought he did. She considered the possibilities, blushing as her mind kept returning to the literal translation of what he had said. As much fun as the literal translation sounded, she didn't quite think they were at that point yet in their... 10 minute relationship. She scowled, turning back to him.
"Just for a little bit.. I promise I won't hit you too hard.. Heh."
A wicked smile played on her lips as she stared at him, trying to figure out how to go about handling this situation. She was pretty sure he meant fighting. She turned away from him and started walking to where he had pointed.
As she walked away, she turned her head back to him, flashing him a smile. "Common then, I'll show you I can handle myself, and you, just fine." She winked, turning her head back, focusing on the place he pointed out. She was full of bravado, and she knew she was going to regret it. There was no way she was anywhere near as experienced as him. Her only hope was that he went easy on her, and in the end, chose to be kind to her. That, or she would need to have the luckiest moment in her life.
When she hit the spot, she turned back towards him, and stood there waiting, keeping a hint of a smile on her lips.

Common then, I'll show you I can handle myself, and you, just fine.
Travis would smirk when she said that. It was interesting, that she seemed so confident in herself. Maybe she was really skilled, or maybe she was just trying to make it seem like she was big and bad. In the end it didn't matter, he'd find out right now if her bark was as big as her bite. And the excitement would soon rise up in Travis. He had longed for a fight, and while this wouldn't be an all-out brawl like he was accustomed to, Travis would still get his kicks from it.
"Careful now.. I think you may be biting off more then you can chew.."
As soon as the last word escaped Travis' lips, he was off. Pushing against the concrete of the pathway with his right foot, Travis would begin a sprint toward the girl and the grassy patch she currently occupied. This was his world. He was born a fighter, and it would never change for him. If there was such a thing as destiny, he believed he was bound to fight. With every fight, he gained confidence, and he got some special feeling from it. No one could take it from him either.
His final step would be a left, his knee bending as Travis' body would give a sudden drop, and he would send himself sliding across the grass with his right leg leading, as he aimed to plant his heel against the bottom of the girl's shin. His arms would fold and cross at his chest as he slide, prepared to form a guard, should the girl attempt to dodge and attack with something of her own. Normally, he liked to wait for his opponent to attack first to analyze them. But this was only a small test, not a real battle.
His attack was simple. He aimed to kick the girl's leg out from under her. If it worked, she would most-likely begin to fall upon top of him, at which time he would lift both those folded arms, and aim to force them into the girl's abdomen as he came down, angled slightly to the left so that if they hit, she would he knocked to the side.

Sara turned and watched him. What happened next, happened very quickly for her. As soon as he finished speaking, he took off towards her. She crouched, prepared to defend herself from attacks to her upper body, like punches, and kicks. As he sped towards her, she guessed they were evenly matched for speed, and she even felt an instant of excitement realizing this. She was prepared for straight on attacks.
But then he did something she hadn't expected. His left knee dropped out from under him, and he hit the ground and slid towards her, right leg leading. Her mind went blank and she acted purely on instinct, throwing herself out of his way. She dove to his left, only an instant before he hit.
His sudden attack left her with no plan of her own, and the dodge was not nearly as graceful as she would have hoped. She landed on her side, pushing herself to her feet as quickly as possible. The landing had left her right side tingling from the impact. She was on her feet in seconds, taking on a crouched stance to defend herself. Well. At least she knew now that she needed to be more open minded when it came to his attacks.

Almost..
ravis was very versatile when it came to how he fought. He could fight from just about any position, and have an offensive or defensive move to reply with. At least the girl wasn't stupid enough to just stand there and get her legs kicked out from under her. That leading right leg of Travis' would dig into the soft grassy soil, and he'd rip it up slightly as he twisted and used those hands to position himself into something of a crouched foot-ball like stance. Once again he would push off the ground toward the girl with his left leg.
Tch.. About the same speed as I am.. But can she take a decent hit from me?
This time however, he would attack straight on. But he had a little trick in mind, and highly doubted she'd expect it. Who knew though, at this point it was anyone's game. As he approached the girl, Travis' right leg would plant this time, as that right arm would his pulled back. He believed the girl would focus on that right arm, believing it to be his true attacking tool. If she did though, she'd be sorely mistake as his left foot would slide forward and he would aim to bring his left shoulder in close to slam against the girl's guard. While he wasn't going all out, it might sting a bit if it landed, and he believed it probably had more then enough strength into it to knock her backwards a bit. Depending on what happened, Travis would work out his next plan of attack, or defend if he really needed to.
