He whipped it out. No not that, his cell phone, the thing wasn't the best, just a pay as you go that he got so he could text Mathew. He had a little bit of information, but not a lot. He decided he'd text him and also say that he wanted to meet with him in person at the school in the courtyard. His plan? To fight the boy. He had gotten a bit stronger since they last saw each other, and he wanted to test Mathew out.
At least... he hoped he had gotten stronger.

'A new group called the Student Liberation Front is having a tag team fighting tournament for recruitment. Some guy named Roth O'Roak was advertising it. Didn't know if you heard so I figured I'd let you know. Also, I want to meet at the school, I'm at the courtyard. I'll make it worth your while.'
He sent the text and pocketed the phone, he was dressed in all black aside from the red bandages he wore like a bandanna on his head. He knew what they could do, they had healed him when he placed them on an injury, but he hadn't healed his entire body. Not yet... he didn't deserve the easy way out, he'd take the hard way out of this.

Mathew felt a vibration in his pocket along with a dull buzzing sound. Fishing around in his pocket in class he pulled it out, glancing down to read the text as he kept the phone hovering above his pocket. It seemed that his newest informant already had some information for him. Already information he knew, but that wasn't bad. It confirmed what he already knew, and that was never a bad thing. He sent a quick reply telling him he would be there before pocketing the phone and looking back up at the board.
It was only a few minutes later that class was dismissed, and Mathew grabbed his stuff and shoved it in his locker. He would deal with his assignments later. He had a meeting to get too, one which was likely going to be worth his while.
Making his way to the courtyard the Green clad fighter passed by the large clock tower, a relic in his mind now. Something he was so used to seeing that he almost forgot how unusual it was for a public school to have something so nice in the middle of the courtyard. It used to unnerve him, make him think something else was going on. Which it had been, but now he just passed it by without much thought, other than a passing musing wondering if Leon was up there right now.
Looking around the courtyard he didn't see the crippled informant around quite yet, so he would take up post leaning against the tower. Reaching in to his pocket to pull out his phone he would send him back a text.
'I'm here. At the clock tower.' Once it was sent the phone went back to it's home in his pocket and he would wait.

A buzz took place and he read the text. Turning toward the clock tower he walked up to the area. A moment or two later he was able to make out the figure that was Amtrum. Sometimes looking at him felt like the color green was brutally raping your eyes. Either that or it's like somebody stuffed the entire country of Ireland and all of it's stereotypes into his wardrobe. There were a few other jokes about that but Kenin needed to focus.
"You told me if I ever called you a leprechaun again you'd rip my tongue out of my mouth, or something to that extent," He said as he made his way so that he was a few feet from Mathew. He proceeded to stick is tongue out a little with a grin before pulling it back into his mouth, "Show me that you're able to do that."
His left arm brought up with the elbow bent so that his forearm was up defensively. His right fist was pulled back into a fist as he grinned, "I mean, I am out of my wheelchair after all. Not one hundred percent but I'm getting closer....."

Mathew sighed, it wasn't really what he had in mind when he was told this would be worth it to him. Despite what many people might have thought about him after the whole Connor incident beating up cripples didn't give him the jollies. Well, Connor did a bit, but he brought it on himself mostly. Just like this kid was starting to do. Though not in the same way that Connor was, he wasn't asking to be put on a cross or anything like that.
"You really sure? You might end up back in that chair you know?" He asked with a slow shake of his head. His lips slightly pursed in displeasure. It wasn't that he had a problem giving the kid a beating, he just hated to do it to a resource of his. But if the kid insisted he would.
He didn't really even wait for a reply, if the kid seriously pulled him out to the courtyard to ask for a fight then he doubted he was going to just reconsider. Mathew's head would snap to both sides really quickly, his neck cracking with a sickening sound before he rolled his shoulders. The weight of his coat weighed down on him but it was a familiar weight, comforting almost.
Once he was mentally ready he would rush for the kid, but instead of going for a straight strike like most fighters would he would pivot to his right, so that he was on the kid's left side, the pivot whipped him around on his right leg, his back exposed for just a moment before his left leg would slam in to the back of the kid's kneecaps. His aim was to hurt the kid and get him on to his knees. A place he would have to get used to if he thought himself Mathew's equal so soon after being out of a wheelchair.

"You really sure? You might end up back in that chair you know?" His concern was almost touching, but yet it was a sign that he still pitied Kenin more than he respected him. It meant that while he may have some respect, he in no way thought Kenin to be physically capable to fight with him. It was a little insulting, but honestly it was truth so it didn't matter.
"If I end up in a wheelchair it's because I was weak and I deserved to be put there," He said. He was too weak for the fight that put him in a wheelchair. He didn't win of his own strength from what he could remember, he only one because of a lucky explosion. It knocked him out and he could have sworn the other guy was dead... but he wasn't. He had even called Kenin to let him know that. He needed to get stronger, fast. Not for a competition, not for his own selfish desire, not to prove anything to this kid, he needed to get stronger so he could prove it wasn't a fluke.
He didn't win off of a fluke.
Amtrum took off it seemed, making a quick movement, Kenin was too slow to react to it. The guy was not only fast, but he obviously had some amount of skill to him. The leg hit the back of his kneecaps and pushed him forward a bit. Stumbling forward Kenin dropped to his left knee, quickly bringing his right knee up to catch himself from falling completely.
He turned on that left knee, pushing off of his right foot as his left forearm still in a shield went toward Mathew's face in hope to get his attention off of the right fist. His left arm would move out of the way as he would aim his fist for Mathew's left cheek, following through with the punch by pushing off of that right foot into the air slightly in order to land upright by the boy.

The kid wasn't bad, Mathew was able to read the movements of his body, small twitches and the way his eyes moved. But the kid wasn't bad at all. With a speed that surprised Mathew for a kid he considered to be right above wheelchair bound the kid turned on his knee before launching a feint attack. Mathew wouldn't move and instead let the fist collide with his face, judging just how strong the kid was.
Weak for his size, but maybe that was to be expected after being in a chair for who knows how long. When Kenin tried to push off of the punch that's when Mathew acted, whipping his left arm up to grab the kid's fist holding him in place. Mathew would pull back on the arm trying to pull the kid to him, hoping that being jerked toward Mathew when trying to push back off the punch would disorient him enough to prevent him from stopping what Mathew planned to do.
What Mathew planned to do was simple, as he pulled the kid in he would raise his left knee to slam it in to the large kid's stomach, his right hand would move back around the kid to grip his hair. When Mathew's knee came down and he was standing on both legs he would pull back on kid's hair to lift his head up to expose his neck. Once that was done Mathew would attempt to jab the fingers in of his left hand in to Kenin's neck.

His punch succeeded, but by the lack of so much as a head turning, he knew that the kid was tough. Very tough, like freakishly. Either that or Kenin was much weaker by such a huge margin that his punches were shit. Either way he suddenly felt the recoil of his injuries. He knew too well that he was about to get some of them reopened or exploited. As soon as his arm was grabbed and he was pulled, he had an inkling that he'd get a knee to the torso, he had been struck by the kid's knee before and he didn't very much enjoy it. This time was no different.
He coughed out as the knee struck and he felt a rib crack, the kid's strength was unbearable and yet here he was trying to deal with it the best he could. It was painful, but he was pushing through the pain as if his life depended on it. Not because he felt it did, but because that's how he needed to fight if he was going to advance or even stand a chance against somebody who would kill him without a second thought. This was the strength he was after, not being able to win but being able to give everything to the last drop over something even as simple as this at the drop of a hat. That didn't come with strength....
He felt his hair being grabbed and before he knew it it was pulled back, the near eight foot man being bent backward just so this kid could reach up to and jab his fingers into the front of his throat. He coughed once more, struggling to breath at the incredible amount of discomfort. It was something most people completely misunderstood about fighting, something like this was more effective than a punch, the punches served to weaken the opponent so you could get to this type of move. This wasn't some trick or some kind of cheap shot, this was him ending this.
Kenin however refused, and caused himself more pain, he let himself drop, not completely but enough to get his throat off of the fingers for a split second, in which time he would attempt to swing himself around, spinning a bit on his feet, twisting his hair that had been grabbed in a very painful manner as the hair tugged, and he would make an attempt to push off of his feet. He could not see clearly where Mathew's head was, and even if he could there was no way he could aim properly, but he attempted to ram his face with the top of his head. Or maybe he was aiming for air, at this point he couldn't afford to care.

Kenin was beyond stubborn, Mathew was trying to end things quickly for the cripple's sake. That's why he tried to disrupt the kid's breathing to get him to tap out. He was no use to Mathew if he destroyed him. However, to his credit he was really set on continuing this fight. He had to wonder how far this kid could push his body.
The kid spun around, the hair that Mathew was gripping would tighten to the point that he was almost sure it was going to rip out of the poor kid's scalp. Mathew would release the hair so that he didn't get yanked along with the large kid, and his left hand would form in to a fist as Mathew shifted back a step as the kid's head started to come down for a headbutt. One of Mathew's favorite moves to see done.
The fist would shoot up in an uppercut motion attempting to slam in to the middle of the kid's face as it came down attempting to ram in to where Mathew's head had been. If the kid wasn't quick about avoiding it then he would be in for a nasty surprise.

He felt a release from the pain to his head. For a moment he feared it was because his hair had been torn from his scalp and that he'd soon feel a rush of cold followed by a massive amount of pain. However, he was wrong. In fact when the headbutt went he had his eyes shut from the pain, so when he hit air his first instinct was that he missed, and as his eyes opened they were greeted with a fist which smashed into Kenin's nose, just along the bridge as it broke with an audible crack.
He felt his head got propelled up, causing his body to get a bit of air as he fell back hard on the ground. His arms struggled to move as he was so incredibly dazed, his head swimming with the confusion, he felt like he had a very bad high mixed with a really good drunk, and he suddenly wondered if this was what sleepwalking felt like. He struggled and pushed up so he was sitting up. His face bruised a bit, giving him an appearance of the elephant man.
He would push up to a standing position assuming Mathew didn't attack, and he would pull the bandages down over his eyes and nose for a moment. If he hadn't been interrupted he would pull the bandages over his forehead once more, showing that his nose and the swelling was gone as well as any sign of a wound aside from the bit of blood that had already come through his nose. After which point he'd bring his fists up once more, his head completely healed.

Mathew had given the kid the chance to give up, several chances to just tap out. He chose to quite fighting. Mathew wasn't done with him yet. He struck the kid's face with enough force to launch the large student in to the air, if only a little bit. He was pleased to see the large arrogant student on the ground, his nose bleeding and broken.
Mathew would press the advantage while the kid was on the ground. He made no move to stop the kid from putting bandages over his face. Instead Mathew would take his right foot and slam the combat boot clad foot as hard as he could in to the kid's ribs. He warned the kid that he might very well end back in a wheelchair, but that wasn't an issue for the kid.
If he had time after the first stomp Mathew would lift his foot and slam his foot in to the kid's stomach, trying to push the air out of his lungs so that he would be less likely to do something back to Mathew for his abuse. Finally he would finish the foot onslaught with a swift kick to the side, trying to push him on to his side facing away from Mathew. He wanted to wait for the kid to start trying to pick himself up so that he could kick him in the side of the ribs again.

It seemed he wasn't given the break he needed to get up as he felt a foot slam into his ribs. A cry of startled pain erupted as he felt yet another break take place. He coughed up a bit of blood as he felt the foot hit his stomach, making him feel suck to his stomach as each breath became more painful than the last, first by the broken ribs and second by the gut kick that winded him. He knew that this was going to be tough, but he wasn't quite prepared for this type of beating. At least, he didn't think he was.
The kick to the side not only broke a third rib, but this rib was puncturing skin, the break was painful and as Kenin was kicked away he was rolling onto his injuries. He was facing away from Mathew as he began to push himself up, he would push up in a stumble, blood coming from his mouth as he tried once more to punch, though if he got up and even was given the chance it would be more of a stumble than a charge, and the punch would be more of a sad excuse of slapping the guy with a fist.
Not because he lost his strength, but because of the sharp pain from the broken ribs, one clear to the eye. In fact, he was hoping the boy would hurt him more, because he deserved it, his body was pathetically weak, and he was sick of it.

It seemed that Mathew had misjudged his own strength and instead of kicking the kid on to his side he kicked him so hard he rolled. To far away for his quick kick that was planned when he started to pick up. So Mathew would let him do just that. Licking his dry lips he watched the boy like a wolf watched sheep. Watching and waiting until the perfect moment to strike. He wouldn't have to wait long.
He watched calmly as the boy tried to charge him, more of a stumble than anything else. Mathew almost felt bad about what he was going to do, but the boy was the one that had wanted to fight, and he hasn't tried to get Mathew to stop yet. When the punch came at him Mathew would do what he did to the kid that knocked his juice out of his hand the other day. He side stepped to the outside of the arm. His hand furthest from the kid's torso would grab the wrist and keep the arm extended as his other hand would slam in to the elbow to try and break the kid's arm.
Should the arm break the icing on the cake would be Mathew twisting the arm, trying to move behind the kid with his twisted broken arm to get him to submit. Normally in Mathew's experience this was a fight ender. But there have been several stubborn people that insisted on going on after this. He wondered if Kenin was one of those kids.

His punch failed, and instead he got a sharp pain as he screamed out, his elbow breaking in a very gruesome manner. His body was about to give up on him, he could feel it. And then the twist came and yet again he let out a scream as he was turned a bit so that Mathew was behind him, wrenching his broken arm it seemed. He tried to hold on, gritting his teeth as he let out some noises of pain. Of course, this wasn't the end....
His broken arm, which Mathew would probably be able to see, began to fix itself despite being twisted, healing and correcting itself so that it was simply an arm bent behind his back. His ribs began to heal up, the one protruding through his torso coming back and being set, fixing itself and mending completely. The majority of his wounds had healed though the skin hadn't been closed up, meaning there was still the blood already loss and a bit of blood still from the healing process.
He let out a relaxed breath as he realized the situation didn't look good. He was in a lock, "You know I'm surprised you aren't getting bored of this," He'd say, commenting on the fact that he was still able to go, "But I can go for awhile yet... I'm drained, but I don't feel near as much pain now...." He said, still out of breath. He felt like he just ran a marathon, and despite his arm being twisted behind his back he'd try to do something, so bending his knees slightly he would attempt to slam his back into the guy. He doubted it would do much, but he tried anyway.

This time Mathew was legitimately caught off guard. The kid had a Qi, he should have realized it. His own Qi could read people to a degree. But all he knew was that the kid was weaker than him. He wasn't able to read the specifics like him having a Qi. He heard the snapping and cracking sounds as bones were healed and before his mind processed what just happened the kid slammed in to him, pushing his body backward. Mathew had to step back to avoid falling down. Not for the strength of the kid, but the sheer size. Cripple though he may be the kid was huge.
Mathew let go of the kid's arm so that he could keep his balance, and realizing that he just let the kid go and figuring that he would probably try and turn around Mathew would attempt to send his fist hurtling straight in to the kid's back before he could turn around. However if he did turn around first he would settle for the kid's stomach.
"Not bad..." He said, musingly. Mostly to himself, though loud enough that the kid would likely hear him. Mathew just gave him a compliment. Maybe this would turn out to be worth his while after all. This kid might actually be worth something.

He let go, which was good enough for him as he suddenly felt the fist pound into the back of his skull. "Not bad..." He said as Kenin turned around to face Mathew, a confused look on his face. He nodded at him, but found that while the compliment was nice it may have been given a little too soon. He suddenly fell back hard against the ground, the hit to the back of the head causing him to black out after the repeated injuries and healing.
At least, it looked as if he was still passed out. His body was working with his Qi to bring him back despite him being completely unconscious.
