But there was only one catch:
One didn't need luck if they had the skills to get what they wanted. And it also depended on what they wanted for one to determine the amount of skill & work needed to get the job done. For Kevin, all he needed to do was break the ice & he'd have a talking or possible dancing partner for the night. Not every guy needed sex from a woman that was pleasing to the eye.
"Party's still early. Give 'em some time, I'm sure they'll show up to a place like this, if they got a taste for the finer things."
Speaking of finer things---he'd examine the kimono. Not her, just the kimono itself; the fabric was nice, just the outfit itself was eyecatching. Had Kevin been gay, he wouldn't mind wearing something of that calibur. But back to the party.
"I take it you're waiting for a date to show up?" By just seeing Calamity for the first time, he wouldn't have known anything about her knowledge of Hiroko, & thus, wouldn't know the potential risk of asking such a question. But it was completely innocent, though it had undertones that he felt it natural for her to have some male friend accompanying her, that would be one lucky guy.

OOC: No. I'm not going to translate what he's saying. More for the fact that I don't want people who DON'T know German to suddenly claim in this thread 'Well, in [Insert Name's] background, he was a very multilingual little boy...' MASQUERADE!? WHAT!? There's something about... a 'school dance' that sort of makes you want to do something... 'special'. Look nice. Shave. Work out two weeks prior. And get the nicest threads you can afford? ...Alright, vanity's never a good thing, but this one of those times that... for other people to see, and yet not see. To be able to put on a mask on yourself, a real, physical mask, and not be yourself. And for it to be alright. Today, no one would know his name(s). Today. He was just a person who happened to be going to a ship. To have fun, to dance, to talk and be himself. ...But of course 'being himself' was another matter on its own.
'KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE'.
His haircut? The mask he'd bought? The nice tuxedo? Cool suede dress shoes, flexible enough to dance? Check, check, check, and check. Ya know what? ...I don't look half bad. But, the eye patch... well... For anyone who knows me, it may be a dead give-away. IF they can notice a guy who doesn't have two eyes walking around, of course, but that'd be an anal amount to expect of the populace. In truth, he wasn't really all that... well... known. Ah well. The point was just... have some fun, right? Right. A grin. Pulling on his mask, he strode up. Up.
Time to forget about shitty times. At least for tonight. And there it was. Slowly, getting out of the taxi, he looked at it. Beautiful. How did 259 get this much money?---No. Tonight? He would make himself not care. Tonight? He would have fun. And tonight? It'd be perfectly fine. But, to maintain composure... he wanted to make the transition obvious. Walking up to the boat, he saw the guards, and nodded like a statue...The moment he passed by the guards...--- "HE ALLE, WIE GEHT ES!?" Both arms shot out, in an arced 'V' formation. Pointer and pinky making their debut. "PARTEI IM HAUS, LASSE USA ES HINUNTER ERHALTEN!"Grinning wildly, tongue kept from lashing out, at many girls who walked by, he went by one, whispering, almost.. "Sie sind so eine Geldstrafe, die Hurenfrau anschaut." in such a way that it sounded almost romantic. And to another? "Sie müssen müsste geschlagen worden sein auf den Esel damit vielmals, den der Herpes in Ihren Mund geschossen hat..." and other things.
...You know, he was REALLY gonna freak out, if the girl he whispered to actually KNEW German. Because he was REALLY cracking up inside at how they looked at him afterwards. Like he'd said the sweetest things in the world. No. No, I'm afraid... tonight, he was gonna have fun. And if they didn't know? It wouldn't hurt them, right? After all. There was a rather, REALLY cute looking girl wearing a kabuki hat. Guy was already approaching her. And various other places... other people that were having a lot of fun. Dancing. Making out. Perhaps with people they didn't even know. Hehehehe. These were the freedoms of 'Anonymous'.
But right now? Woo. Getting a bit thirsty, you know? But for some reason.. he could NOT stop smiling. Even as he managed to finally reach the bar where some guy was.. uh... sorta passing around a knife, or a sword. To a brown-skinned girl in a green corset, no less. Well. It WAS one way to impress a girl... provided she was impressed with it. ...Kinda cool looking thing as well. But ah well. He just sort of sat back... head turned to the girl in the green dress..---What was she doing? Trying to undo her corset? In front of ALL these people!? HAHAHAHahahahahahahaha... she'd better watch how the dress fell, otherwise.. if she got unmasked? These bastards in this school would make it into a huge scandal. Never a pretty sight.
Head turned back to the Kabuki-masked girl. And then to this.. uh... rather strange-faced one. But with a really nice dress. Oh hell. Tonight was not his night for women. Tonight?...
Peering his head over with his only eye, at the girl in green---Was she ASKING him to take off her dress!? A large laugh.. "Oye! Was versuchen Sie, zu machen, eh!? Keep your dress on!"'Course, with all this loud.. talk... he'd doubt anyone would hear him, anyways, as he peered back at the growing number of people. Not really that thirsty anymore, as he sat in his chair, back to the counter

Veyugan got a hint that this girl was reluctant to accept help at first. Maybe she was the type that liked to be in complete control of things, or maybe Veyugan did creep her out. Whatever the reason, she was definitely ignoring him. A slight sigh came from his body as he watched the girl continue to fumble with the knot. A smile spread across his lips as he watched the girl turn her back to him. It looked like she actually wanted help after all. Veyugan chuckled quite loudly as he stepped forward, coming close behind the girl, but not too close. His eyes narrowed again into a squint - trying to see the knot in the dimmed lighting. His fingers traced the string, noting what the problem was. It was a basic knot, just tied very tightly. Veyugan's dull fingernails were no help, but he managed to get a hold of a piece of the knot. Pushing and a string upward, into the knot, he pulled on the piece he held. The knot came apart rather easily.
"...can you..hur.."
"Heh, got it."
Veyugan pulled the strings apart, letting them fall against the tightened thingamaboby. His left hand grasped the bottom of the lung-squisher, and the right grasped the top. He pulled horizontally gently, letting the strings give the girl more slack, loosening around her body dramatically. Veyugan tied the string again, this time in a tight bow. It would hold the strings firmly in place, while being able to be pulled apart easily. With that done, Veyugan placed his right hand on her right shoulder.
"That should do it, and no thanks needed, just here to help."
After that was said, Veyugan would remove his hand from her shoulder, and take a step back. His body would find the stool next to her, and position himself upon it once more - back to the bar. His drink would be placed in his hand, his kris in a belt loop on his right side. It was more of a decoration than anything. However, you could never be too safe. You could say Veyugan was fight-prone, and would pick fights with pretty much any guy that managed to tick him off. Not tonight though - he felt too damn good.
His eyes would flick back over toward the girl to see how she was doing now.

"Party's still early. Give 'em some time, I'm sure they'll show up to a place like this, if they got a taste for the finer things."
Finer things eh?
she'd look off to the side still, only glancing at him for a moment. Blue eyes peering through that white mask, before looking off to the side. She was almost regretting coming, but maybe..she could forget about all that.
All her pain. Just for tonight?
Maybe.
She thought about it for a moment.
Forcing a smile upon her face. It was a horrible smile at that, but who cared. It was hidden behind that mask.
"I take it you're waiting for a date to show up?"
Oh...jesus.
Her chest tightened. Her right hand lifting, pressing against her chest for a moment. Her fingers twitching to tear open that flesh.
But she'd breath. Deep breaths drawn in though her lips. Tilting her mask up a bit, her lips now visible as she'd breath.
"No. No date for me tonight."
She swallowed. Letting that mask rest over her face once again.
"No one asked me."
Did she feel bad? Yes.
No one had asked her. No one made any attempts.
Hiroko, well. He had a reason. Being dead and all. So she'd forgive him.
But as far as Calamity knew. Well.
She wouldn't let her mind think about him now.
That boy. That one named after the coldest season of the year.
Swallowing again. Looking up at the boy who had approached her. Really looking up at him.
Her lips parting to speak.
"Oye! Was versuchen Sie, zu machen, eh!? Keep your dress on!"
But she halted. Body tensing up. Her mouth open and soon clamping as she'd look to the side.
She could have sworn over the music, that she'd heard...German?
But no. She shook her head.
No, she hadn't heard it. Not at all.
And if she had. Plenty of boys, and even girls must have known German at 259. She bet there was tons. Millions in fact.
A nervous laugh.
"...Heh.....um....Did you hear that?"
Her hand motioning off to the side.

"As long as I don't see boxed moustaches & schwashtikas, I'm gonna disregard it."
He'd shrug, & Calamity could see the smile on his face, despite the mask---it didn't cover his mouth well. "But yeah, you ain't the only guy to be on this boat stag. But at least you get to mingle around, dance around---no ball & chain for the night, yeah?"
Did he notice her reaction to his 'date' question? Yeah. However, girls got turned down every day & night. She might have gotten rejected by the guy she really wanted to come with her. It happened, & Kevin could simply hope she'd allow her to somehow pick up SOME of where the last guy left off.
"So while the ball & chain is off, I'm always up to chat, maybe catch a drink, chill, dance---whatever's good. I got all night." He'd realized that somehow, he'd kept cool all this time. Kevin nearly laughed at realizing his own personal growth; some time before, he'd be overly cheery or too calm. Calamity could pick up in his eyes, body language & tone of voice that not only was he cool, calm & collected without faking it, but he was enthusiastic as well.
Blue eyes would meet hazel ones as he'd continue to allow the DJ to run things. Yes, he felt as though he were allowing things to progress near the dance area that he could control, but chose not to. Later, though. Later...

Was using drug money to fund an extravagant party wrong? Probably, but Ender had loose morals, and if the money was already there, why the hell shouldn't they spend it? No expensive had been spared for this little mysterious get together. Luckily the cost of the boat and everything in it had come as a sort of package deal. He had seen fit to arrange for the alcohol to be provided by a graduate with rather curious connections instead of just settling for the default stock. The musical front was being handled by the art teacher, and he had to admit she was doing a damn good job so far. The range of the music played was impressive, and seemed to satisfy everyone.
As for the Supervisor himself, Raikeru had spared no expense on his tux. The coat was the typical black you saw all the time, and was made of the finest material. The dress shirt he wore under it, however, was not the typical white. It was a sort of cobalt blue mixed with gray, hard to describe, but it made him stand out. His pants and shoes were also black; the latter sporting a mirror shine. His mask wasn't anything special, just a small black leather mask around his eyes.
After patrolling the deck to make sure everyone was having a good time, the Supervisor made his way over to the bar. It seemed be a hit, which was no surprise, as this was the first time a quarter of the students had ever had access to alcohol. There would be no interference from the police, he had made sure of that. In addition, he had requested that Chasers be given out to those buying alcohol. Finally, all students with cars had to turn over their keys. If necessary, the enforcers would drive tipsy students home. All the bases were covered, and this would be a night to forget your problems and have some fun.
Ender was in his social mode, and planned on shaking things up a bit later, but for now he simply took a seat at the bar. Pulling a fifty from his pocket, he handed it to Keith. It would probably be enough to supply his alcoholic lust for the rest of the night, which would go on until everyone saw fit to leave. "Alrighty, I think I'll kick things off with two flaming Dr. Peppers, Amaretto and Bacardi 151 combo, please. As for the type of beer, I want a different lager for each, you pick which," he said with a smile. The drink choice was one of his favorites, and it would give the bartender a chance to show off.

Post by Mitsuki Park on Aug 10, 2007 4:24:42 GMT -8
...Mitsuki came to the conclusion that she had been taking advantage of air for quite a while, as it never felt so good to be able to breathe. She let her hair fall down in it's natural place before reaching for the bottle of water, aware of the fact that he had taken a seat next to her and keeping in mind that he certainly had charisma, or the guts to touch her period, as usu-- oh, right. She's wearing a mask, ha! Eyebrow slightly raised as she uncapped the drink and took a sip, now wary of the fact of how hot it was inside seeing as people were dancing the night away, and the body heat was overwhelming; so much that the air conditioner was not even noticeable. Capping the bottle again, Mitsuki almost felt like a paranoid child, just waiting for someone to put some drug in her drink; she knew how to take care of herself, but again, she usually never came to social gatherings...
"You may not need it, but it's not a crime to want one."
In other words, she was thanking him again.
She heard the ..German very well; something about how she shouldn't take off her dress, though when he spoke in that other language... She instantly thought of, well... It would be a wild guess but...
"Easy there; no one said anything about me taking off this dress, though you better watch what you say. Someone might know who you are, as there arne't many who speak German in the school, ja?"
She wasn't exactly looking at the guy who spoke German, she was kind of eyeing her water, a light smirk on her face. Her tone was also semi-light, as she was not used to talking in that tone, but came out natural. Though she wasn't used to it, she still used it on her parents, so, brownie points for her. She wasn't exactly trying to scare or threaten him, just...maybe he'll think twice before he speaks rapidly in a different language.
And the fact that he spoke so enthusiastically too....
She turned to face the blue haired guy; his wardrobe was definitely interesting; it matched his hair...nice would be like an understatement. She felt a little off with the eye-mask and all, but she reminded herself that it wasn't that different compared to the hospital mask.
Though there was one thing other than his identity that she was curious of...
"So, what's with the weapon?"

Emily approached the bar with caution and sat on the chair, not noticing the supervisor just yet. She caught a glance of quite a few familiar places though, so she felt a bit more comfortable.
She looked at Keith, a little unsure if she should be here - after all, she was a minor. "Anou. Do you have any non-alcoholic drinks?" she asked Keith, still as emotionless as ever.

"Hmm. You're right. I'm just glad I helped."
Another warm smile splashed amongst his lips, offering it to the girl in the green corsett. His eyes would match her stare - momentarily - before flicking back to the dance floor to see a large crowd gathering. It seemed as people were starting to show up now, with a rapid pace. Veyugan also noticed that this number of people + Dancing = Heat. And boy, was it getting pretty warm on this deck. Luckily, Veyugan hadn't layered his clothing tonight, so whatever breeze was in the room would brush against his bare chest.
'Hmm, Germanic?'
Veyugan heard a German tongue firing off rather close to him. His ears perked, head cocking sideways - trying to locate the person speaking it. Why did he care? No reason ... He just felt a connection to all those European. Especially a neighboring country of his - that was only an hour or so drive away from his home town. The words didn't register with Veyugan, as the music was too loud to hear, but he probably wouldn't have been able to translate. It had been a rather long time since he had last spoke any from of German. However, it seemed that the girl had caught wind of what he said.
Taking off her dress? Heh. Well, it wasn't too far from that. Just loosening it. It seemed, however , there was a pervert amongst them.
Veyugan heard her question. Another smile, this time more of a smirk. His right hand dropped, his forefinger tracing the hilt of his kris. Why the weapon? Well, it had saved him numerous times, more than he could count. It also acts as a link to the past for Veyugan - making him remember what he did to people in his sadistic times. A reminder - to try to be a better person. Cheesy, yes.
"It's mainly a sentimental piece more than anything. Besides that, it's saved me more times than I could count. I really don't know where I'd be without it. Heh."
Veyugan felt a little embarrassed. He was almost making it sound like his kris was a person. His eyes shot back up at her, attempting to make eye contact. The white orbs would glow with life - a trait they hadn't had for a very long time. He would raise his cup to his lips, taking another sip before placing it back on the counter.
"So what's the story with you? You waiting for someone?"[/b]

"Alrighty, I think I'll kick things off with two flaming Dr. Peppers, Amaretto and Bacardi 151 combo, please. As for the type of beer, I want a different lager for each, you pick which,"
The music was definitely loud. But hey, the people were paying for the drinks. That was what mattered.
Hearing the order, as Keith would fix up the drinks. First off were the two Flaming Dr. Peppers. Quickly, Keith grabbed two shotglasses made out of ceramic that could be disposed afterwards. He would fill both shot glasses 3/4 the way with Amaretto and top it off with the Bacadi 151.
Keith would place the shot glasses into the respective glasses.
For the beer, he would fill one glass with a Vienna Lager and another glass with Dunkel (A Dark German Lager). He would fill the glasses 1/2 way.
It would be right up to the level of the shot glasses. Keith would then grab a small torch and ignite the Amaretto/151 combo. He would let it burn for awhile. For the person that ordered the drinks, it would be up to him to blow out the flames if he wanted.
Keith placed the drinks on the counter in front of the man and took the fifty and placed it inside the register. In addition, Keith would give the man those Chaser caplets.
"Anou. Do you have any non-alcoholic drinks?"
Keith nodded and faced the girl.
"We have water, apple juice, orange juice, lemonade, tea, Red Bull, chai, Gatorade, coffee, and cappucino".
He then added, "if you're feeling exotic, we have Ramune which is a Japanese soda. Perhaps you might like some Leninade, a carbonated pink lemonade imported from Russia."

As soon as Keith had finished preparing the drinks, Ender picked up one of the glasses, blew out the fire that caramelized the sugar in the Amaretto and made it taste awesome, and downed the whole thing in a few gulps. It was around that time that Mr. Winklewood made his appearance...in the nude. With A soft chuckle, the Supervisor picked up the second, flaming beverage and threw it onto the man, positive it would make for quiet the scene. Turning back to the bar, he ordered another drink. "Gimme a mind eraser!"

He could feel the music in his bones. The maniac came to the party dressed in a trench coat, masked, wearing pants, and his combat boots. His hands were stuffed in his pockets, and his sleeves weren't rolled up as they usually are. He walked right past the guards, and smiled under the mask, baring his scimitar like teeth.
The Morning Star has arrived.
The mask was made out of bone, that had previously been part of someone's face. He sharpened the canines and sawed down the cheek bones, making them flatter. The bones extended from his nose, all the way over to fit into his ear's cartilage, it covered his nose, and part of his the tattoos on his face, which he painted over the mask. So that it would match. He wasn't going to spill blood here. Not unless he had to. But he was here for a reason.
King.
He knew his student was here, and several other acquaintences, but he was there chiefly to meet with King, do a short and simple exchange and get off with everyone else. They didn't even search him when he got on the boat, or they'd have found his knife sheathed on his lower back, and his gauntlets strapped on his forearms. It was all a part of his get-up. He walked through the crowd, people danced around him, did the things teenagers could get away with. By the bar he saw Mitsuki, as well as the kid he cut open with the very blade he carried, working the bar.
He could hear the German flying off of someone's tongue. He snickered at it. Jonathan was here too. It wasn't like he was there to see him. The three of them had seen him before, as a monster. But they most likely weren't keen on his motives. "Славная партия, запомните если я имею питье? Водочка отсутствие льда."Nice party, mind if I have a drink? Vodka no ice.He presented photo ID to the kid behind the bar. It was all in russian. But the number 26 was plain, as well as his date of birth, among other important numbers. All were fake, but faked so well that the CIA could only tell the difference [/color]

Keith had a look of terror when he saw a guy enter the party wearing nothing but his mask. Just for that, Keith was going to keep ninety-percent of the profits. Screw what the teachers' said! Nothing said Keith had to deal with a naked weirdo.
"Gimme a mind eraser!"
Keith quickly mixed the vodka, kahlua, and tonic water. He would put it on the rocks in a glass and hand it to the man.
"One Mind Eraser."

Taking a sip, Ender realized that the drink was a tad off. It was his fault really, for not specifying which kind of mind eraser he wanted. "Oh, sorry. I meant the Mansion version: Kahlua, Bailey's, Rum, and 7-up. But I suppose I'll just have both now." With that, he downed the shot and placed it back onto the bar. Wasn't as good as the other version, but the Vodka gave it a stronger kick. He was beginning to feel a buzz approaching.
