A continuation from The Problem and Then there were 5.Drea was concerned. The gravity-training session had left her far more drained than it should have - and though she'd quickly recovered, she was also more than aware that she was significantly weaker than the others. She needed to be able to hold her own by herself. So, she did the first thing that popped into her head: She requested more training. She didn't want to ask Gabriel because she hardly knew him... And was currently unhappy with his weight system. The white-clothed boy, she hardly knew, and it was the same for the girl - Addie, she believed. Which left Kazuya, her twin sister's boyfriend. She could have asked Emily... But her sister already had a lot on her plate. Left with no other real options, she sent the fire-user a text message. He probably already knew her address through Emily - and if he didn't, it was in the student directory.

Alex sat on his bed, reading a book for English, his headphones firmly clamped onto his ears, when he suddenly felt his cellphone in his pocket begin to vibrate. Pulling his headphones off, Alex pulled his cell out, and saw he had a message from Drea, and opened it, his eyes moving back and forth as he read her message. He smiled slightly, before replying back to her message, as he slid his phone up, revealing the keypad, making tapping noises as he wrote his reply. Sending his message, Alex placed his phone back in his pocket. He guessed it was time to go. Pulling his jacket on, Alex walked out of his apartment, and heading towards her house, having learned where she lived a little while ago. Minutes later, he reached Drea's house, as he stood outside the front of the gate.
"..." Her house reminded him exactly of David's. Big, and fancy. Alex may have come from a well-known family (Well not exactly, the details are complicated) but he hadn't lived in a fancy house. His homes had comprised of a chamber, a small house and an apartment. He had seen a camera mounted at the top of the gate, so he assumed Drea would know he was here. And if she didn't, well, he'd have some explaining to do as to why he was standing outside like an idiot. He didn't mind helping Drea to get stronger. Could she take him on, that was the better question. All he could do now, was help her become stronger. Training was training, either way.

Drea had already called security - it was a brief conversation - in regards to Alex.
"Hi, Tom - could you let that boy in?" she'd said into the phone cheerfully. She was on first-name basis with all the staff, if only because she rather liked quite a few of them.
"Of course, Drea," the kindly man had told her before letting her sister's lover in.
Drea immediately headed out to show him where the training hall was. It had been converted from a dance studio - and was still used for dance, really - and was basically a large room with mirrors on all sides and wooden flooring.
"Thank you for coming, Kazuya," she said to him as she went to meet and lead him to her wing of the mansion. "And I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you."

Alex watched as the gate swung open, before striding in, as he heard the gate close with a loud clang behind him. Walking in, Alex peered curiously around at the mansion, as he was met by Drea, and led to the training hall. The house was huge, just like David's, and exactly like David's, was also lonely, in a sense. "... It's no trouble." Alex simply said after a small pause, he was not use to hearing someone address him by his real first name, as he walked into the hall. Alex was not against having money, but he didn't chase after it either. It was just simply there.
Briefly glancing around at the mirrors that lined all sides of the room, his reflection staring back at him... all of them, Alex's gaze flickered back to Drea, as he stood in front of her, his arms casually folded across his chest. "... You want to get stronger, I can understand that. We all want to. But there has to be a purpose behind why. So then Drea," Alex said, as he lowered himself into his stance, "Show me what that purpose is! Show me what you can do. Attack me with all you've got! Begin!"

"... It's no trouble."
Drea nodded as his assurance as she led him down the hall.
Upon entry of her converted dance room, she turned towards him.
And him? He crossed his arms over his chest, looking at her quizzically, before speaking.
"... You want to get stronger, I can understand that. We all want to. But there has to be a purpose behind why. So then Drea," - at this point he fell into a stance of some sort - "Show me what that purpose is! Show me what you can do. Attack me with all you've got! Begin!"
She narrowed her eyes at him. A purpose? Her purpose was to support. To support her sister in the long run, and to protect in the short. She would succeed, and for once, not be a failure.
Without any hesitation, she launched herself at him, her right arm moving forward to punch him in the jaw - but would totally miss as her automatic rebalance would send her left leg straight for his right knee.

Unfazed by Drea narrowing her eyes at him, Alex simply watched and waited for her to make her move. Which she did. Without a moment's wait, she launched a right punch aiming for his jaw. Without breaking his stance, Alex simply tilted his head to the right, avoiding her punch, and simply shifted his right knee back, all she would be kicking is air and the floor. In that same moment, he would dart forward, moving at a far greater speed than she was, and launched a left hook, followed by a right roundhouse kick. She wanted to get stronger, well then he would oblige. He wasn't going to give her a moment's chance to react, because that's how many, if not all the opponents she more than likely will face, will fight.
They weren't going to let you stop and contemplate your counterattack, you had to always keep your focus, and react in a split second. The opponents the five of them were going to face, were no different. If Drea was unable to even react to Alex's attacks, she was going to have a difficult time when they face their true opponents. But, that was the reason he was here to train her. To help her get better and stronger, so she could. Not wasting a single second, if his strikes connected, Alex would dash forward, looking like he was running right for Drea. But he wasn't. At the last second, he flipped off her sideways, so that he would end up behind her, before aiming a strike with just his index and middle finger, at the back of her neck.

She easily accepted the fact that she'd missed - and even the punch and kick. Her body jerked in recoil. Because she was smaller and, despite the fact that she was practically a duplicate of her, weaker than Emily.
Despite this, however, she wasn't going to let him beat her the entire time. Her eyes focused, her mind was already running through scenarios of his next possible actions. He ran towards her - but his muscles in the pectoral or lower body gave any sign of a punch or kick. Which meant he was feinting, or was going to do something she'd done in a spar with Mitsukai.
Instead of letting him flip off of her - or so much as use her as a launching pad - she threw herself sideways, turning in a way that she could slam the base of his head with a fist. If it connected, his vision would go blurry for a bit - an effect of the fleeting shock in the visual cortex in the back of the head.
If he stopped moving to recover, she would back off a bit to allow him to regain his bearings. She realized a real enemy wouldn't do this, but it hadn't escaped her attention that it was a training session - and they both needed to be in decent condition for the end of their short week.

Alex couldn't help but chuckle out softly. Nice. Very nice. His eyes shifting as he saw her throw herself sideways in such a way that her hand could slam into the base of his head. Emphasis on could. Not that Alex was going to allow it. Swinging his own arm out, his back facing Drea as he continued through with his flip, he felt his arm collide with her own, effectively stopping her attack in its tracks. Completing his flip, Alex proceeded to hop back slightly, his arm slightly numb from the impact, but a few seconds later, and his arm was good to go. He hadn't forgotten either that this was only a training session, and the both of them needed to be at their best at the end of the week, but he was her training partner and in essence, her teacher, and as her teacher, he wanted her to learn and improve as much as she possibly could, before time was up.
Not wasting a moment, Alex darted forward at full speed, showing no sign of what his move was going to be. Only at the last minute, did he launch his strike. Snapping his left arm out, he launched a simple left hook at Drea. He knew Drea was Emily's twin sister, and the two of them looked exactly the same. The two of them were identical in looks, but their very essence, who they were deep down, was different. Alex could see and sense that, which is how he was able to strike at Drea without hesitation. Because Emily was Emily, and Drea was Drea. Keep going. Don't stop. Always look ahead. Her reaction time to his movements were impressive. But her moves, unfortunately, he could see them from a mile away. That was how he was able to react to her attacks so quickly. That would have to change. "Again."

Drea's arm was tossed outward, and she winced as it went numb. She only a moment to back off, though, as he completed his flip.
As soon as his balance was restored, he darted at her. Realizing that anything with that much speed behind it was bad, she relaxed her body as best as she could. As soon as she had an indication that he was going to try to punch her again, she threw up her own arms to block. The impact hurt - especially because her arm was still numb. The pins and needles would be a bitch to deal with.
"Again." he said.
She frowned, before promptly ducking and kicking out at him. She hoped to dismantle at least some of his speed...

His fist colliding with her arms that she used to block, he was glad she managed to block his strike, but it was pretty obvious that the blow was going to hurt.
Alex was no slouch in the strength department, and he wasn't going to hold back either. Commanding her to try again, he saw her frown, as his eyes automatically shifted, following her body movement as he saw her duck and try to kick him. Lifting his leg up, Alex would counterattack with a kick of his own, feeling his leg collide with hers. Not wasting a moment, Alex planted his foot back down on the ground and spun in the opposite direction as he did so, launching a roundhouse kick, to try and catch Drea off guard.
He was pretty much balanced in all categories, but his stamina was high. He could absorb impacts from strikes and still keep going. He was going to keep going for as long as possibly needed, for Drea to get stronger.

As he kicked her leg, she allowed herself to foll off balance, using her flat lying body to avoid his roundhouse kick. As soon as she was flat - and the kick had passed over her - Drea lifted both legs and moved to slam her feet against his knees.
Even if it didn't have any effect, she could at least say she'd landed a couple of blows. Still, she'd try to get the hell off of the ground and away as soon as possible. How?
By rolling, of course. Rolling away, and then into a ball until she managed to get upright. Weird to watch? Definitely. Kinda like a roly-poly. Useful? Yes.
Apparently, it's hard to grip a ball.

Alex stared blankly as he saw Drea purposely fall, effectively evading his roundhouse kick. Nice move, strange execution.
Planting his foot firmly down on the ground, he avoided her strike simply by strafing to the right, keeping his body down low, as he felt her foot graze the side of his left thigh. Well, at least she managed to land half a strike on him? The blank stare returned to his face as he watched her roll. That's right, roll. Like a ball. A ball. He had to stop himself from laughing, because while it was a strange sight to behold, it was also extremely funny to watch. Keeping a straight face, even though he was laughing his ass off inside, Alex darted right at Drea once she had gotten upright.
He wasn't dumb enough to try and grab onto her while she was rolling. Besides, who knows what he might have ended up grabbing... His fit of internal laughter having subsided, Alex launched a simple right hook, he was going to keep it nice and simple. No need to go all elaborate and waste energy.

She felt one foot hit him. That was good enough for her - especially since he was so much stronger than she.
She got the hell outta dodge.
And when she got to her feet, she saw him darting at her. Without thinking, she jerked her head backwards, even as her foot went straight up as he approached.
Chances were... if he didn't move - sidestep or something - she'd hit a rather necessary organ for procreation. And it would probably hurt.... And he might be a little angry. Whether or not she connected, though, Drea would immediately head for the other side of the room. Away from any impending meteors of doom.

You have got to be kidding me. As he darted forward, on a straight path aiming for her, Alex's eyes flickered downwards, noticing Drea's lower body shift as he approached her, meaning she was about to lift her leg up and launch a strike. And not just anywhere, but right in the nuts.
Oh hell no, not like Alex was going to let that happen. Quickly evading to the left, Alex watched as she ran to the other side of the room, effectively trying to get away from him. Time to play a little game of catch... or something like that. Darting forward, Alex caught up to Drea in a few quick strides, and quickly hooking his foot behind her leg, would yank his foot towards him to trip her and send her backwards, to try and end her little escape routine. What kind of opponent would just let the other get away? Alex was trying to train Drea against any kind of situation she could end up in, so she would know how to react.
He wasn't going to use his Qi though, even though there was a chance their opponents might have Qi, he was going to take this training one step at a time. "Again."

He hooked her foot with his, sending her tumbling to the ground. What he might not have expected was that she'd grab him by the collar of his shirt - reflexively, really - and drag him down with her.
She sure as hell refused to fall by herself - how embarrassing that would be!
Anyways, she'd at least been polite about her blow. She'd moved away to give him time to recover... And really to get out of his way.
"Again," he said. She'd wait until they were both on their feet before moving to tackle him.
