In the depths of Long Beach Lucas sat at his bloody throne in the dark corner of his fortress. His club, the Seven Deadly Sins had survived the initial fallout and was now the hideaway for the desperate and disillusioned. He'd grin looking out from his suit enjoying the raving dance party beneath him. The pulsating lights and unnerving sensations that made people disparate into their own secondhand lifestyles. This was an escape from the world outside, the only remaining memory of what'd been only days before.
"Turn it up."
With a throbbing bang, the music would throttle higher, a number of scantily clad women would be unveiled onto the floor carrying trays of drinks being distributed out into the crowds. He had a bit of things in mind after the world had gone to hell, in fact talking with this Barker fellow was at the top of his list.
Otherwise he'd wait in his throne for a potential game to start, bored at the present letting his eyes wander over the crowd beneath dancing in the lifting mist.

And of course Astrid was there. Why? Because she had heard, due to her nosy ways and the constant need for people to go blabbing about anything fun, good, or exciting.
Though, to say that was all she had heard about this place would have been a lie. She had heard a few more vicious little rumors. Things about the owner being a bit...creepy, the women being a bit...whorish, and well the entire thing having a dark, mysterious air about it.
Sure, most people said it was just a cool place to hang out. But there were some who saw things differently, and those were the ones Astrid was more inclined to listen to.
Stepping into the club, her hair falling down around her, held back by a simple silver band around the top of her skull, her pale eyes scanned over the crowd. She was short, true, but there was something about her that seemed to make her stand out from the others around her.
Perhaps it was just the eyes, unique unto themselves in color and that sharpness they held within, or the fact that she held herself more proudly than most women her age, or any age for that matter, would choose to do.
Then again, could have just been some lingering side affect of her blood line showing through.
Whatever it was, she easily enough made her way through the crowd. Dressed in a shimmering silver tank top that stopped just above her midsection, showing off her toned flat midsection and a pair of black skinny jeans, black leather boots covering the outside of such from her knees down....complete with spiked heels, raising her up a good two inches.
Hot? She liked to think so.
Though even she knew that there was something else about her people saw. She had been told enough times about it. But like hell if she knew what.

Rina Can you hear them calling out? Why had she come here? The place was loud and full of people, heat radiating from the inside. The music throbbed, deep and pulsating. Would anyone like to answer the million dollar question? Why in the world had Rina come to this place? Oh right. Mila. It was the talk of the town and her roommate just HAD to drag her along. "Mila, I don't think--" her attempts to escape were futile. The shorter - and stockier - girl had an iron grip around her wrist. Dear lord where did she get that strength from?
Mila flipped her hair and grinned, eyes half-lidded. "Rin," she said, putting a hand on her hip. "Really now, c'mon. It's a club. It's supposed to be loud and full of people!" and she twirled to face the door, red dress shifting about her knees from where it flowed from her shoulders. She wore silver heels and a black, satin ribbon around her waist. Bright red lipstick adorned her lips and Rina thought that slit along the side was a little TOO high.
Then again, what her room mate wore was a lot more simple than the god damn dress she'd forced Rina in. It was black, with thin straps on the shoulders. Mila had insisted on heels, but Rina wore her knee-high boots. The only flashy thin about the dress, though, were the silver beads along the hem. The rest fell to about her knees - more like ABOVE, that bitch - and clung to her form. "I cannot believe I'm wearing this!" the raven-haired girl hissed as they entered the club. Her teal eyes darted, wary as the crowd pressed in around her and Mila. Oh, that little heathen was so dead!
Mila made a beeline for the bar and Rina gazed around as she followed, trying to shorten her strides in the black dress. She was so used to walking like the rest of the MEN. Yes, that's right. Rina was one of the fighters. So? Anyone got a problem with that?
While Mila ordered their drinks, Rina searched the crowd. There wasn't anyone she really knew. Mostly teens and young adults. A handful from school #259...wait. Was that Lucas? The boy she'd challenged to a chess match in her first few weeks at school?
They never really got to finish that match, did they?
Before Rina could decide weather or not to approach the grinning boy, Mila shouted something above the music. "What?" Rina asked loudly, looking at her room mate. "I'm gonna go join Senji on the dace floor!" she replied just as loudly. Wait. Senji? Her cousin was here? Fucking great. Just fucking wonderful. That idiot was bound to piss someone off tonight. Rina nodded at Mila and gave her a stern look. Better keep that boy out of trouble or else, was what that look said.
Mila smiled innocently and turned to weave through the crowd of bodies. With a sigh, Rina leaned back against the bar and watched the dancers. Surprisingly, there was a girl that Rina recognized from school #259. It was rare for Rina to remember any of the girls. She never really got along with them.
The music was starting to get on her nerves until the songs switched. At least it didn't sound like screeching metal anymore. She hated those type of songs. Ugh. Rina continued to gaze off into the crowd, sometimes going deep into thought, but every once in a while, she found herself wondering what Lucas was grinning for and trying not to let her gaze land on him again.

Above the night life, it was a stereotype well suited for Lucas as he fancied himself a creature of such nights like these and a man that stood higher atop the shoulders of most men. The simple fact that he'd owned this club with the facilitation of Barker as his associate only provided him with one such realization, that he was simply better than most folk. That evil grin etched on his face as he played with his scotch in one hand admiring the new host of faces entering the club. His attention turned first to a brunette he'd seen somewhere, yes he'd seen files on the Sudekis and knew well enough of their existence as a priority case for Barker, however he was more inclined to make such a fine piece as a mantle of his own. Secondly another set of women appeared; one of which he'd remembered before. Rina if he was not mistaken, though they'd never actually finished their game he did however fancy her in a way. Fancy being as far as such a man could incline as he prided himself on having a host of women at his beckoning call. The only difference she held was that she seemed a step ahead of most on the trail of fate.
Two chess pieces placed evenly within his very club in a single night, what could possibly go better for him? That grin giving his intentions away if one could read minds however he'd disavow it covering it up with a veil of malice and the cold facade succumbing to a shot of scotch. He'd stand at last inclining his finger over to an associate positioned directly at his right; a dark lavender suit and a timely blond faux hawk would set this man as much more modern and stand outish from the Victorian host of Lucas' company, his jaw a firm steadfast bulk and a very tense look about him.
"Talon... see to a particular guest for me would you and please be courteous..."
A silent nod of acknowledgement would follow as the man would take his place following down the stairs leading away from Lucas and towards the blonde to which Lucas had pointed out.
Talon grimaced at the man's reply. He was indebted to Lucas but found that serving as his impromptu wing man was a task that was growing quite old. His many opener lines beginning to stale on most people and his very intimidating facial structure doing more to set the man behind then aid in his ploys. Regardless Talon would step off his high horse and approach the young Sudeki. She was attractive, dark locks and pale features made her eyes strikingly powerful, something that could bring any man to his knees undoubtedly. But there was something in the air around her that Talon could sense made her weak, something that Lucas would sniff out and take full advantage of in the coming hours should his initial company be disbanded.
"Compliments of the host."
Talon would hand over a tall glass of 'Sex on the Beach', he'd find the drink hysterical as it made his opening quite obvious much more so it revealed his intentions with a very thin veil. He'd retract the hand so long as it was either in her hands or on a solid surface regardless the man wouldn't be caught holding it for more than thirty seconds as it stood as a direct insult to his manliness. His hands returning to his pockets he'd make a low clearing of his throat entirely inaudible to anyone else over the noise before making his left hand directing to a private booth to the side inclining that she follow him to best avoid the noise.
If she'd follow him inside he'd simply place himself at the center, relaxing only when he was behind the veil with a light airy breath.
"I'm Talon, I'm supposed to keep you occupied and otherwise away from any praying lewd hunters."
He'd reply hilighting his tone to the curtain expecting that behind such were likely three or four other men lingering at the edge awaiting her retreat from the private booth and racing back into their arms for a chance at one single dance.
"Can I get you something?"
Would come a calm and alluring voice from over Rina's shoulder. He'd be there grinning, a slight inclination of his hues and a hushing motion with his hand to urge the person in the seat next to Rina at the bar would disparage and retreat away not seeking conflict. The bartender immediately whisking to his boss' demands. If Rina didn't want anything he'd shoo away the bartender to his duties but otherwise resigning to her desire. He'd show the very pompous side of himself, the one that fed off of control and complete power to do all that he'd wished.
"Come back to play a game have we?"
He'd pique in curiously with a sadistic grin already plotting out how this one would go, but the game in mind had nothing to do with chess. Or perhaps that was a lie as there were nothing but pawns in this club, aside from him the King and his likely knight and rook staved away in the private booths. As far as this game went he'd hoped Rina might join him as Queen along their little game.

She stood there, those pale eyes scanning the crowd as she brushed her tongue idly over her lips, setting forth a soft shimmer upon them. She didn't really do the whole lipstick thing, her lips a lovely shade of pink already and needing no such embellishments.
In face, the only makeup she really wore was a thin dust of eyeshadow in order to further accentuate her eyes. She was no fool, they were by far her best feature.
Glancing around a bit more, she inched her way through the crowd and to the bar, leaning up against it slightly, one elbow propping her up. This place seemed alright enough, though the things she had heard set her on edge, if only slightly.
The sound of a male voice echoing from her side, she would turn, her head tilting ever so lightly as her brow arched for a moment. Eyes falling to the drink which was held out to her, and though, so not to be too rude, she would take it, she could not help but narrow her eyes in suspicion. Head tilting back up so that her eyes could meet with that of the male before her.
"And in a room full of women, scantily clad, drunk and willing to fuck any man that has a thick..........wallet....He chooses to give ME a drink?"
She didn't know about this, but she would take it none the less. She was not stupid, but at the same time, she did have some sense of manners. A small twirl of her finger within the mixture inside the glass, making sure no acid was going to eat away her flesh or anything....that single digit being brought to her lips as she slid it within her mouth, slowly sucking away the bits of drink left behind.
"I am Astrid. It is a pleasure to meet you Talon, though why is it that your boss feels the need for me to be protected from the lewd men and women that fill this place? Do I really seem that helpless?"
Slightly offended, though she tried not to show it, she had of course followed along. If for no other reason than she wanted to get a handle on just what the heck was going on. Her small frame slipping into the booth as her fingers traced the edge of the glass.
A little reluctant to actually drink it at first, but then, her failing sense of judgment got the better of her and she took a few long hard drinks, the contents tasting far too good for her to pass up.
A light sigh passing her lips as she set the glass down, closing her eyes for a moment to try and let the tingle of the liquor mixed within the fruity concoction work through her system. It was not much, but it was enough to keep her pretty well at ease if anything.
Eyes turning back to Talon now as she once more looked at him cautiously.
No attention paid to any other person around. Right now he seemed to be her main focus, if for no other reason than she was wanting to make sure he didn't do anything or try anything.
"And who exactly is this "host" who seems to be all too gracious?"

Rina Can you hear them calling out? Watching the crowds, Rina fixed her gaze curiously on the brunette that seemed very familiar. She went to school with her...er, she used to go to school with her, that is. What was her name again? Before Rina could ponder further, unusual movement caught her eye. Someone was making a beeline for that girl, a drink in hand. He stood out and it was obvious that he was anything but one of the random guests in here. The man approached the dark-haired girl and offered her the drink, keeping his expression placid. Rina quirked a brow. Now what was going on here, huh? The girl said something and Rina wished she was closer so she could hear.
"Wait a second. What am I thinking? Mila does this stuff, not me!" she inwardly groaned. That girl's ways were starting to rub off on her. Oh, dear lord.
With Mila dancing with rest of the too-eager and mostly drunk women, and nothing else for her to do, Rina finally decided to turn back and lean over the bar. A Martini sounded nice. She was just about to call out for another drink when a voice spoke from over her shoulder. Rina tensed. She should never of turned her back to him. That voice she'd recognize anywhere. It held the same haughty tone he'd used back at school.
"Can I get you something?"
Tilting her head to the side and gazing at him from beneath her raven-colored hair, Rina replied, "Not likely." in a flat, almost dark tone. What was he up to? Even though they did meet at the school, they didn't have the same classes, and she never spoke to him that often. Then again, who did she EVER really speak to? Lucas then mentioned their chess match. Oh, he was going to bring that up, was he? She snorted. "Don't count on that." she paused for just a moment, then went on. "There is more to this than just buying me a drink...Lucas." she said his name lowly and with a raised eyebrow, questioning. She'd seen that grin. He was up to something. But...did she want to know what it was?

"And in a room full of women, scantily clad, drunk and willing to fuck any man that has a thick..........wallet....He chooses to give ME a drink?"
Talon sized her up briefly, she seemed pretty enough, a quick shot of words perhaps affiliated with temper or worse so pride. He'd reply only with a shrug drinking his own drink candidly. He didn't know how to handle women, much less pull ones head out of its own ass, that seemed like a job for a proctologist.
He'd eye her up out of his periferals not daring to lock eyes with Miss Sheba. She seemed like the turn of her neck could snap his very own, a thought that made his skin curl.
"I am Astrid. It is a pleasure to meet you Talon, though why is it that your boss feels the need for me to be protected from the lewd men and women that fill this place? Do I really seem that helpless?"
Again he'd take a beat to speak, he took his time to choose his words carefully and being a man of few of them he made it ultimately clear that his choice words would leave an impact.
"..."
His mouth would open momentarily only to be cut short and stopped by hers.
"And who exactly is this "host" who seems to be all too gracious?"
"Lucas Delacroix, leader of this fine region.."
Talon would smirk a small bit impressed by his choice words thinking of how proud Lucas would be of him seeing that he'd held him in such high esteem.
"Certainly you have an idea as to the gravity of your situation..."
"Not likely."
Suffice to say it wasn't exactly the words he was expecting to her. A small unnoticable grimmace would entrench its way across his face and almost just as quickly would dissappear. "Don't count on that."
Striking out already were we? Lucas certainly had counted his chickens before they'd have hatched a thing that didn't go lightly with him. If anything it only enraged him making the man more passionately pursue his prey.
"There is more to this than just buying me a drink...Lucas."
A chidllike grin of arrogance plastered to his features expanding his cheekbones upwards to leave a glint in his eye.
"But of course..." His hand would trail upwards and if she didn't cringe away he'd play with a small strand of her hair between his middle and index finger for but a moment staring idly as though his mind had somehow wandered off. "Though to find out," he'd lean in low enough to whisper in her ear, somwhere the booming sound of the bass couldn't touch. "You're going to have to follow me down the rabbit hole."
A gleaming grin before turning about and trailing through the files of people and up the stairs back into his private suit, the guards at the door left with the instructions to not interrupt and let only Rina pass. From behind the double paned glass he'd grin with a little mischief in his thoughts.

She arched her brow slightly at his last words. Both at the name given to her, having heard it in the midst of her nosing about, and at the final statement which seemed all too ominous for her tastes.
The drink being brought to her lips one last time as she finished it off. It was good. She honestly, could not help herself. Again, if she were older, smarter, or had been through as much as another certain female she would NEVER have accepted a drink from a stranger, even if it was perfectly fine.
But then, Astrid had done a lot of her growing up on her own, which meant that ultimately she had missed out on a lot of key points. Like...never trust a stranger. Yeaaah.
"Why don't you fill me in as to my current situation and the gravity of such, because apparently I am missing something. Last I checked I was out having a rather uneventful night, scoping out a place at the top of the rumor mill, and chatting up a guy with the personality of a wet mop."
She rolled her eyes, leaning back into her seat as she slid the tip of her tongue across her lips. Just a hint of that fruity concoction still lingering there.
After another moment of thought, she would simply shake her head and move to push herself up and out of her seat. A little, half ass smile given as she gave a mock salute toward this Talon fellow.
"On second thought. Its been just.....peachy...But I think I am gonna head out. Tell your boss....umm..Lucas was it? Yeah, tell him thanks....for the drink and all..."
She would of course wait for some kind of reply before she turned to leave. Simply because that would be rude after being given the drink and all for free. But yeah, she wasn't digging the whole ominous vibe thing.

"Rumer mill? Wet Mop?"
Talon would look confused as the girl was talking too much and quickly with a wit that he didn't really catch onto that quickly. Although her motions after the fact only made him seem to assume that she was implying something to the situation. Even a fair salute to him smiling. He didn't know what he was doing right, if anything at all for that matter.
"On second thought. Its been just.....peachy...But I think I am gonna head out. Tell your boss....umm..Lucas was it? Yeah, tell him thanks....for the drink and all..."
"Sit down... I'll tell you."
Talon would cross his arms expecting her to take a seat knowing that knowledge was power and all people desired it he'd wait but a moment to fill her in on the entirity of the situation seeing as though they were going to be here for a while. His eyes darting out to Lucas seeing him quite busy.
"This club is the one safezone in a wall of terror, if anything knowing Lucas is the means to surviving in this world now. What with Barker taking over the world and all. My master is a gracious host, I expect you'll come to understand that given the chance."

She arched her brow slightly. She wasn't sure if she should sit down or not, at least not upon some random stranger's request. But even as she debated walking away, she found that she couldn't. Not due to the knowledge being offered. No, she could live easily without that. She wasn't like most people and thought that she had to know every little thing. Curiosity was not her downfall, unlike some other girls.
What stopped her was the fact that suddenly she felt good. Really good. Perhaps a little too good for only having one drink. Her mind swimming just a bit as she closed her eyes for a moment to try and shake the feeling away, a hand coming up to brush back her hair from her neck.
It was getting hotter in here. Right? Or was that just her? Nah, it had to have been this place, all the people packed in together. That was what was causing the small layer of sweat to start to bead upon her brow and neck.
A soft exhale of breath, everything part of her body starting to feel a bit more....heavy, she would shift to fall back into her seat. Those pale eyes opening to glance back at Talon as he spoke.
The words were something she knew she understood, but to form a correct response was proving more difficult than she would like to imagine.
"Well...not..entirely sure...want to give him...that chance..."
She slumped back ever so slightly in her chair...a few deep breaths drawn in through her nose as she tried to steady herself. Really? She had that much trouble holding her liquor?
One hand moving to grip the table's edge...certain if she didn't brace herself against something she might very well fall over.
"But that...said..."
Words slurring a bit more as she trailed off....focus lost if only for a moment.
"I need to be going...."
The thought occurring faster than the words, her hand on the table being used to try and pull herself up, though as she did so, she stumbled...barely able to catch herself this time.
"What..the..."

Rina Can you hear them calling out? That grin was going to get him punched. "But of course..." he said. So, he wasn't going to deny it, was he? His hand came up to her hair. Rina stilled, but didn't move. What was he playing at?
His next words made her roll her eyes. "I'm not Alice and this isn't Wonderland!" she called after him. The nerve! She really wanted to kick his ass in something other than chess. He'd changed some...seemed stronger. Could he fight? She wasn't sure if he did in school. She'd never seen him face off against anyone. Not like Kyoshi. Yeah, she'd caught a few sights of what he could do.
Watching Lucas as he said something to the guards at the doors to what appeared to be a private room, Rina thought it over. He clearly wanted her to follow him, but did she really want to get caught up in his outrageous ideas? "Tch, Lucas is going to owe me if he drags me into something I don't want to be in." she growled, pushing away from the bar and striding to the doors without hesitation.
"Rin!" that voice stopped her cold. Mila. Her roomate. Getting that girl into things like this was not something Rina wanted to do. Mila was strong, yes, but she was just a girl. Turning to face her, Rina plastered on her neutral mask. "What, Mila?" she asked. The shorter girl was out of breath. "Senji's drunk. I think it might be a good idea to get him out of here." As she spoke, the silver-haired teen was being loud at a group's table. His speech was slurred and he was grinning like an idiot. Yep. Mila was SO right. "Okay," the ocean-eyed girl nodded at her roommate. "Get him out of here and head on home."
Mila paused, curious. "What about you? I'm your ride, you know." she pointed out with a mother-like authority. Rina snorted at this, but replied, "I have something to do. I'll walk home if need be." she'd done so before. And she would do so again if she had to. Unlike Mila, she could stomp any regular thief on the street.
"But--!"
"Go."
Rina left for room for argument, and Mila sighed, turning to gather her cousin and go before he started a fight or got himself killed. She watched to make sure Mila left and then continued to where Lucas was. She was sure that he'd been watching. Stepping up to the doors, the guards let her pass. Of course. So that's what he'd told them; to let her by. She didn't say anything as she closed the door behind her with a soft click. The music was muffled in here, but she could still hear it.
Standing at the door, Rina crossed her arms and gazed at Lucas expectantly, but not without patience. Alright. She'd play his little game. If only for old times sake.

He liked being the playful tease, whether it was working on her or not he couldn't be sure. After all Rina did strike him as one tough cookie. It didn't matter to him as his confidence was intoxicating to those around him veiling everyone in a pressure of sorts uncomfortable or otherwise. Despite walking off at his confident pace he'd pause at a sound. "Rin!"
His head turning on a swivel, hips pivoting to watch the little intercommunication between Rina and her apparent friend. Darting eyes speculative of their relation. It'd seem they bore some sort of closeness not in appearance but in the direct sort of language they used. Even over the noise he could tell they were very affirmative. Friends, drinking. He didn't entirely understand this sort of communication of course as he'd been deprived of friends in his own childhood.
Two guards however would block their path looking up to Lucas who would give them a nod allowing her friends to escape. There was no sense in this working out poorly of course Lucas wanted an ace in the whole but he trusted that this situation could work out in his favor.
"Shall we?"
He'd say offering his hand as guidence up the stairwell when Rina finally returned her position towards his as they were to head up in the same direction. Once upstairs however it'd seem as the doors closed Rina would aptly be positioned in a defensive stance, her arms crossed sharply over her chest a look towards Lucas as though the game was needed to be played out immediately before her. Of course that would ruin the point of it all. One could not know the rules going into the game, they always changed and adapted towards a new goal. That was the neccessity of life, for the instance they were satisfied was when they died.
Lucas would stride over to a small circular table at the middle of the dark room pulling out a chair to offer to her before taking his own seat, whether or not she took his polite offering didn't matter.
"Have you ever indulged in the writings of George Orwell?"
Lucas would imply, his gaze venturing offwards to the side wall of his office suite that overlooked the pulsating dance floor. A beat would motion as he formulated thoughts and propted a reaction or otherwise.
"It was a story where the prizoners became the masters, and with that power became corruption and ultimately destruction, caniballism, discent, and disoreder."
His glazed over eyes would return back to Rina with a glance, his normally turned up grin forming into a smile would retreat into a very serious expression.
"What are your thoughts on the world around you? More importantly what will you do with it?"
All part of the game, stage one was to set the board up. And with each piece stood a different value. Lucas held her in high esteem already but things could change. Power stood with whomever held the right cards and knew when to play them.

29 years old, looking for ties to her past and she ends up in a city where an old friend resides. Even after seeing him, even after talking to him, Silk wanted to be anchored in her old ways. The best way to do this was to get back everything. Everything she owned, everything she did... She missed it all so much. Yes, it sounds pathetic. A grown woman chasing her high school years, using those as the high point of her life...but it was true. Before she was married, before it felt like she had sold her life away for nothing more than an empty promise... she was a happy girl. She had once owned a club that in New york was one of the FINEST clubs in the city. She sold it to buy a shop and that shop was the best, but she missed the night life of the club.
Now that she had settled and found Leon, it was time to make a life for her self. She had a love interest, she had her friend and now... she was going to get her club back. How was she going to do this? Well... Silk was a business woman after all. She decided tonight was best for scoping out possible club residences and competition. Most places didn't expect a woman to be a strip club owner, but that could be because, people mostly thought of strip clubs as places that exploited women. Silk didn't exploit her girls. These were women who liked to dance, couldn't get jobs as dancers and were in need of cash to pay bills. The first item on her list... finding a safe haven for her girls to dance. With all these gang wars and territorial fights going on, safety was her priority.
Dressed in a long pencil thin black skirt that went to her ankles and had a long slit going up the side showing off her tanned toned legs. Red, thin strapped inch high heels adorned her feet, making the woman who usually stood at 5'9" now stand at 5'10". A Crimson corset hugged her upper half, revealing her tanned shoulders, the scar she wore with pride and toned arms. Silver hair cascaded down her shoulders and around her backside, to swish ever so lightly behind her as she walked. Her hips swaying with every step she took. The allure of her spanish blood possibly a little too evident in the face and her hips. Her emerald green eyes often caught most men off guard.
Entering the club was much easier when you looked the part. The booming music, the flashing lights, the young men gawking at beautiful girls. She missed it. Passing by several table's Silk made her way to the bar, not going unnoticed by many of the male occupants, she did seem to carry her self with a... threatening air though. One that kept them in their seats. This was not a woman that anyone could just walk up to. Even at rock bottom like she was, she still thought of her self as above everyone else. A slender hand set on the bar, black nails painted with red swirls lightly drummed on the bar top before she asked for a drink. Unlike most women, who drank fruity drinks to dull the alcohol, Silk asked for something more... aggressive. Whiskey.
The drink burned as it slid down her throat but it was a familiar burn. One she accepted and had become accustomed to. Those emerald green eyes would wander the club. She watched the young girls who worked there, maneuver around the men who eyed them like meat. Her elbows rested on the bar top and she sighed ever so softly before her tongue slipped from behind crimson lips to slowly lick along her bottom lip. She would be fine with just observing for now. While this place was nice... it could use improvement. Something she would keep to her self.

For Lucas some time had passed since his earlier guests had arrived, he'd had his play time of course but then again time had no real meaning to him. Security achieved, pieces in motion this was all very much a game to him, something would come to push and shove eventually and Lucas was sure he'd be pulling all the streams. Despite being on Barker's side he still possessed a very domineering persona that would not willingly be forced to be beneath someone else regardless of their strength or abilities. Until the time came to play his cards Lucas would wait pressing his advantage of not only surprise, but infrastructure.
As he descended the stairs of his private suite he'd survey the room idly not finding much interest in the usual club life. It was however a strange sight to see such a small girl taking in such a heavy drink. He'd grin figuring it was ample opportunity to play a little game. Even if it didn't last very long; sex and blood were still viable resources to be taken from her.
"See something you like?"
His eyes tracing hers to the multitude of women dancing around, taking advantage of what had been given to them for whatever multitude of reasoning. He'd await an answer albeit patiently he couldn't turn down a pair of good legs shambling about before his eyes.

Silk had seen this before. There was always at least one man who would dare to get close, dare to even speak to her. It was nice at times but when the woman had her mind on business, not so much. She had seen him earlier, a moment ago, walking away to vanish some where behind a door or curtain. In this light, the silver haired woman couldn't fully tell, nor did she care. It was just something she had noticed when her eyes passed over the crowd. Now, he made his way to her. The people seemed to get out of his way fairly quickly.
"See something you like?"
She saw him follow her eyes to the crowd. So, she resembled one of the unfortunate souls who entered this place looking for cheap thrills. At least she could smile at her self for that. She always loved when she blended into the crowd. Something about it made her feel normal, and yet...she must have stood out to draw his attention. She would look at him now, green eyes roaming over him as if she were appraising his worth. He was handsome at least. Very nice eyes. Still, he lacked appeal to her. Perhaps that was because she already liked Kazuya.
"Not really... the girls are pretty and have sex appeal, but beyond that... they are just faces."
She spoke with a smirk. In her opinion it was true. The ladies that worked here were just there. It was an act for them. Personality wise, they fell flat. Did she know he owned the club? Nope. Did she care? Probably not. A slender hand moved up to tuck silver locks behind her ear. Red lotus studs caught light and glinted just a bit.
"For all the dancing that is going on... there still seems to be something missing... almost like an empty space in the center of a crowded room."
She sighed softly and asked for another whiskey. The abrasive drink soon washed down her throat again, the burning keeping her alert in a club that seemed to hold such little intrigue to her.
"But, I doubt you said that to actually hear my opinion...So, I digress..."
She smiled at him a bit and straightened up. Her hands clasped and neatly rested in front of her.
"Are you a fanatical fan perhaps? Or some sort of egotistical man-child who would like to buy me a drink and take me back to his place for a wild night?"
Her words came out crisp. Almost like she didn't have time for the usual games that one played in a club. Silk never liked games, unless it was her turn and she was in the right mood. Tonight wasn't that night. Very few clubs existed now and that meant, competition was tight. She had gone to a few other places, earlier in the night, but none of them seemed like much of a threat. This one on the other hand... it could give her precious Red Lotus a bit of a problem. It was already popular. For the Red Lotus to just randomly appear and the word to get out about it, well it would take a while to make it this well established.
People didn't have an aversion to new clubs, quite the opposite, but it did take a bit to get it up and running. Now, a well placed enforcement, or a partnership of some kind would probably be helpful, but she had doubts about finding this clubs owner and negotiating such things.
"For, if you are the latter, I'm afraid I'll have to turn you down. As for the former, I'm always glad to sign a book or two."
