"You fell for it~."
".... What just happened?"
These were the words Yahto was thinking when he suddenly stopped in his footsteps, his hand having just grasped onto the doorknob and turning it. His left eye was beginning to twitch ever so slightly as he turned to glance at Delilah over his shoulder, his flabbergasted expression mirroring something you'd find in an MSN window. In short, it looked almost exactly like this: o_<;. "So she was getting me all riled up just for some lousy mental warfare test!?"
Yahto could already feel his blood pressure start to rise. "Great. Just great." he thought to himself while rubbing at the spot between his eyes with a free hand. Quite simply, Yahto wasn't used to being deceived like that and the experience had left him quite unnerved, to say the least. Plus, the fact that Delilah was the one to do it just pissed him off to no end. "All right, fine. I'll be there. I suppose you've made your point. But there's one more thing I should tell you..." he said to her once she had finished her monologue, his hand dropping back to his side as he fixed her with a supremely irritated glare. "The next time you have something important to say to me... Don't you ever yank me around like this again." The icey glare in his eyes made it clear about what would happen if she did.
With that, there was nothing more that needed to be said from him. And there was nothing more that Yahto wanted to hear. With a quick turn of the knob, Yahto opened the door and returned to the depths of the school. Although, the muttering curses that kept spewing from his mouth could still be heard even after the door had closed.
