He was in a cage The cage, however was more for looks. The researchers new very well that He was harmless. They just chose to handle him like a wild animal because that is what he was to them. A wild animal. Truth be hold, he was probably more human than any of them, less wild, less cruel. He couldn't tell them, He didn't know how. So far He only went through the basic tests you might see space monkeys go through. Not that He knew that, or felt degraded because of that. All He wanted to know is why He was taken away from home. "We're almost there little guy, to your new home!"One of the women researchers was kind enough to speak gently to him. He didn't understand, but the tone made him feel calmer, safer. "Let us check him in with the new school before we drop him off at his new habitat."His cage was lifted. It wasn't that large, he could barely keep a comfortable position with his head in between his knees in the back of this kennel like cage. He wasn't that heavy, it only required one or two people to move around, it having wheels on all corners. "I believe we are nearing the front office.""ATTENTION PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259. WE ARE HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. I REPEAT, PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259 IS HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. PLEASE ENTER THE NEAREST CLASSROOM POSSIBLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE." "Should we--" "No! No... In fact, this may be the perfect opportunity. Let us go back to our lab and leave him like this. Let him get a feel for his new school, his new environment." "But we can't jus----" "Yes. We can, and we will. That is an order." He did not know what was happening, but he was suddenly left near the front office, locked up and chained in his "Kennel". That voice sounded urgent. The hairs on the back of his neck began to straighten. His cage was facing outward, away from the office and towards an empty hallway. He couldn't see much. He heard a crash. He smelt a smell. Both were not appealing to his senses. He backed into his cage. “Well hell’o thy dear hum’ns, I smell Fear…. Who…… causes such sorrow” "Your old foes and compatriots are here. You have already been involved, I have no right to stop you."Suddenly... *FWOOSH*
*CRASH* "OH NO YOU DO---" He shivered in his cubby hole, not knowing what to do. Something similar to a loud whine escaped his mouth. *SMASH*
---ADAM, NO!
"Told you I'd have your back." He had to see, needed to see, what was going on. He scuffled his cage to turn slightly towards the open courtyard. Then he saw a man. "What is this 'medieval times'?" He saw a young girl. “Uhm…?” He saw another man. "Vell, vell... looks like ve're starting up again.~" He noticed the pitch in each persons voices. Some confused, some seemingly sarcastic, and some seemed calm, almost as if this was every day. No matter the context, base line, or whatever he heard, he felt at ease. There were people here. Then... He saw the mass destruction. He yelped in surprise. Where was he... and what was going on?

*pop*
A small tick from the clock slipped through his conciousness, his Gum popping again with the bubble. He scibbled on his book contentedly, the teachers dull vocational droning muling over him in a wind of sound. He let out a deep breath. Boring. So much simpliity containted in his existance in recent times. Luckily, his boredom wouldn't last long. The intercom erupted in noise, the student dean giving signal for lockdown. The teacher turned and began giving orders, to which the students began looking around in a scared manner. Normally, David would be first out the door t see what exactly was going on. Now, he just slouched deeper into his seat. However, as time went on, he heard voices screaming, his head turning to look over his shoulder, as though trying to glare through the wall.
He looked back at his desk, eyes scanning the surface a moment. It couldn't be helped. He was needed. Standing, David walked around the desk, the teacher noticing his Dragon insignia on his sweater and not daring to stop him. He open the metal door easily, and began turning right, to head right out into the open. What met his eyes was a giant blast of energy, having been dodged by the Student Dean, heading directly for his face. His eyes went down into an angry scowl. His left arm tore the door behind him off its hinges, everything moving in slow motion, or so it seemed. He brought the door around the front of his body- his speed was tremendous. But still, he wasn't fast enough. The blast collided with his form in a force that would have nearly ripped him in half.
With the protection of he door, he avoided the blast somewhat, but not nearly enough to avoid everything. The force still picked him off his feet, taking him down the hall and cratering his body into the wall. His right side, which while mostly protected, was exposed near the right shoulder. The cloth evaporated, like paper near fire. His skin seared with flame and electricity, the soft smell of cooking meat filling the nostrils. His wind left his body as the power shook his right arm, the burns reaching his neck on the right side, crepping up a couple millimeters before stopping. His left arm, hand, chest and leg would be crushed by the metal door, not to breaking, but parts of him would be bruised deeply, and his left shoe was toasted. His sweater was now in tatters, his hood ripped completely off.
The door fell away, and with it, David fell from the crater, face down. He shook, planting his left hand on the ground and pushing himself to his hands and knees. His right arm hung limp, but only because he didn't want the pain accompanied with movement. His face was pale, his knuckles white. He looked up, double vision taking his eyes. He clenched his teeth. Not since he saved Leon did he take this much damage from a single blow. He began breathing deeply from the vast amounts of pain rocking his body.
'Dammit.'
His arm slipped out from under him, his face hitting the tile floor as his breathing became shallow, eyes closing as he fought back the darkness threatening to overtake him.

Gilgamesh looked around for something to use to help, but it was too late, he had noted at a voice in his head and would then close his eyes to set his mind to it.
If this worked.. What ever voice in his head was going to help him out big time...
Gilgamesh watched David open the door with his head and his eyes opened wide in awe.
Well.. Looks like our Artillery is here.. Gilgamesh thought to himself and shook his head as he watched the titan hit the ground and he would rushed over to help.
"Hey... Mr. Blaze, you alright?" He put out a hand to help. He had seen the big guy only once and he was going to remember him for years to come.
If David left, then this was going to be harder than anything to do. But he smiled.
He was trying to be friendly.. Something he wasn't taught by his old friend.

Spike watched the guy race off, that was different, pissed off too. Spike didn;t have to wait long before the Dean himself walked out and briskly made his way with a female he had never seen before. Spike shrugged and would follow all. Pulling the bokken handle from his belt. Up until now he had never actually used it.
"The hell?"
Spike let out when he saw the scene, first the tower of armor holding a spear, a hobo being kidnapped, the kid from earlier being shield smashed. Then an attack on the Dean, who was saved by the chick and David Blaze who was knocked flying. Spike ducked the flipping body to his right and straightened again. the young Sudeki was astonished, but kept his cool like he was trained as the Vanguard of his clan.
"Welp gonna have to fight weapons with weapons. Gil, take this."
Spike would take the power pole from his back and throw it towards Gilgamesh, Spike knew Gilgamesh was helping David Blaze out of the wall this thing put him in, which means this thing was amazingly powerful.
Spike would generate his Qi through the bokken handle as a black flaming sword would emerge from the handle. This thing was goin down. Spike would charge the thing, waiting for the spear to thrust before acting. He had to make this thing leave itself open some how, he was going to go directly for the helmet's eye socket since that seemed to be the only open point in the armor.

OOC: I apologize for the wait and the probable inconsistencies in quality.A riposte, by definition is a verb by means to "make a return thrust." Typically, this verb is performed in fencing or another sword art after a perfectly time parry. In other words...
The blinding blue, electric light had disappeared just as instantly as it came and Mr. Adam could only feel his chest pounding at the loss of life he nearly experienced in a single millisecond. It took a few seconds to realize that the impact had come from behind him and was resting on top of him, who promptly rolled off him. Not realizing it, the Dean breathed in a breath of air into his completely emptied lungs, his eyes wide before growing smaller, calmer..."Told you I'd have your back." He saw her looking at him at the same time, it just took a moment... to realize. His ability to concentrate with "The Commander" still needed work. Still, Miss Byrne was getting up, unharmed, and was going so far as to poke fun at him. Seemed like morale was higher then Mr. Adam had anticipated. Curtly, with a hop to his feet, keeping the tips of his fingers on the edge."Thank you."There was a stoniness in his voice, but for good reason. Calvin was looking in horror behind the Student Dean... and the Dean looked at the mass destruction that occurred right behind him through Calvin's eyes. At least someone had already gone to help him, but...
Surveying the scene with his own vision, he looked at the various smoldering craters, the deep slash marks in the concrete. Various injured students were lying around about where the previous battle had occurred, not too far away from this literally towering knight's position. It wasn't certain from this angle if any student-related casualties had been taken, but Mr. Adam did not seem to show any emotional instability. Rather, there was an unnerving calm about him, as Calvin proceeded to get himself up into an injured stand, his hand holding tightly to his side, readjusting his breathing. At this position, Mr. Adam and Miss Byrne were at the vanguard while Calvin was angled off enough to get himself into a position to flank.
And...*"Analysis complete." *Seven seconds passed as all of the above went on, while Mr. Adam opened up the channel for Miss Byrne to listen into. His hands were reaching for the rings of the smoke grenades on his waist. *"Target officially titled 'Tower Knight,' as play of adjectives on his physical description. Low ranking officer, reassigned to "M&L's Experimental Enforcer Underground. This appears to be our first sign of M&L since the fall of the original Correctional Facility under Sean Barker." **"You've done well. Standby."**"...Sir." *Three seconds.
Pulling the pins to his smoke grenades, the grenades fell from the Dean's pants, already beginning to puff up smoke about his position with Miss Byrne. Already, the Tower Knight's lance was glowing a lofty blue in his hands, his lance already charged up for the next shot.*"Down and cover your eyes Miss Byrne, Calvin---MR. SUDEKI!"*Spike Sudeki, charged through the emanating smoke, an ominiously glowing light chasing after him. The Dean had never seen Spike's Qi in action... That was a lesser priority, right now.
Taking a quick step back as the dark miasma began to cloud them, the Dean's right arm would swing in a scooping manner, backwards, to catch Miss Byrne by the shoulder before he'd physically suggest to her to move down, regardless of if she was or wasn't already. The cloud didn't hinder breathing too much, but the Dean's mouth and nose was clamped shut all the same.
Meanwhile, realizing that there was no easy shot to be had, the Tower Knight held up his still charging lance in his right hand, arc his elbow backwards as he slowly crouched down---Calvin couldn't believe his eyes.
The knight JUMPED with a terrific *SMASH*ing impact into the concrete for a huge four-foot crater of about three centimeters deep, away from Spike. Debris from the shockwave and impact flew up from the cracks in the ground everywhere as the shockwave of the jump's landing could be felt throughout the area of Public High School #259, causing those with unsteady stances to stumble slightly. However, the Dean was crouched down (hopefully) with Jayr Byrne in a preventive measure against a potential "next" shot, his footing sure and steady. Calvin stumbled slightly with a re-gauging step backwards to catch his footing, as the giant knight made a *CRUSH*ing pivot with his right foot to face him, readying to loose a shot---"COVER YOUR EYES, MR. SUDEKI!"---The Dean's right hand was gripping the flashbang in his left hand before overhand throwing it out and towards the knight in a sure-aimed arc. A three-second delay followed by a *BLAST* of blinding light in mid-air (hence the over-exaggerated throwing arc) impacted as the knight's movements suddenly grew still. Calvin, meanwhile, had already ducked and was facing backwards, hands over his eyes as he took advantage of the limited effects of the flashbang from his increased distance from the knight.
It was blinded.
Two seconds. Approximately twenty-nine seconds had passed total thus far. The thirty-first second was in a quick, low-dash from the Student Dean towards the knight...!*"Agent Nathan, I revoke your sleeper-status. Calvin, begin pursuit of Fred Lauro."** * * * * * * * * * * * * From amongst the fallen about the Tower Knight's and the "Unknown's" caused destruction on the school grounds, a young man with long, dark brown hair got up. His face was bloodied, his look was grim. Without too much effort, he got to his feet, though the energy of this fellow was fitting for a man twenty years of his age. Non-chalantly, he pulled out a handgun, as he looked downwards.*"Understood. Orders?"* *"Nate, we have not been given authorization to utilize firearms. Please begin evacuation of injured students."**"Understood."* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *"Miss Byrne, please assist Nathan in evacuating the injured students."**"We must let this 'Tower Knight' retreat to tag his source of origin for a proper counter-attack. All agents, prolonged battle on school grounds is prohibited. We will take more casualties."*Even as he was saying so, the Student Dean ran to the knight, passing up Spike for a moment."Come with me! We're going to force it to retreat!"Making a huge sweeping motion, the knight hefted his lance about, slashing deeply into the ground, the Dean just barely rolling underneath it. Realizing that its flank was just exposed, the knight took a huge *STEP* backwards, pounding his left foot into the ground. The Dean only had a few seconds to roll sideways out of the way, the impact of the crushing foot blasting him away three feet. However, this would give Spike the chance he needed---even if the shield was up. Some damage would still transfer through, thanks to his utilization of the Qi.
...Calvin had taken this time to begin running towards the parking lot...
The Tower Knight, true to its nature, took another huge leap backwards with a *SMASH* backwards, towards the direction that the "Unknown" had departed from, taking steps backwards, his Tower Shield up and ready. The blue light had been charging for a while---but it looked like it the Tower Knight's own priority was to retreat himself.
Unless someone re-engaged it, the Tower Knight would continue walking backwards until it had hit the parking lot itself, where several armed-guards were waiting with a truck. The truck's back door was open and ready to take the huge thing away... There, the Tower Knight would mount it and quickly set off with its guards in tow.
If the Tower Knight was re-engaged... a blast of electric light would be shot off...
...In the direction of Miss Byrne and Nathan and the other injured students. The Dean understood 259's plight in this moment, standing, but not taking any further movements forward...* * * * * * * * * * * * * "Well... this is rather anti-climatic," muttered a rough voice in a hidden venue of Public High School #259's parking lot, as he saw all the events transpire, even watching as Calvin had gotten onto his motorcycle, recognizing the familiar former-experiment in an instant. "He's developed rather nicely. Hm.""If no fight occurs, there will be no data to gather...---Roger, is Experiment #J62 ready for combat?""...Sir.""Prep him. We may send him in."

Despite it all. The severity of the situation was being purely bypassed by Jayr, having just saved the Dean she still had a smile on her face, albeit this was indeed a serious issue it hadn't struck her just yet the severity of matters before she rolled back up to her feet. Her Cerulean hues gazing over the ravaged battle scene. A grim focus and sickness overcame her wanting to throw it all up as she gagged turning down and away.
"Thank you."
"For what.....I couldn't save them."
Her eyes leveled to the floor in shame of her own actions, she should have done better. Beating herself up inside Jayr held a vexed disposition. Eyes coming up she'd noticed they were still in mortal danger of the thing, its position deathly close, the spectral glowing of the lance sending chills up her spine.
*"Target officially titled 'Tower Knight,' as play of adjectives on his physical description. Standby for details."*
Jayr's head burning from the exposed thought of the creature. Yes this was just like back at 774, nothing had deserved the right of being called human after doing things like this. They were all just heathens. Difference was she could do something about it.
The subtle nudge of her feet scuffling forward across the floor. The soft clicks of her heels touching the scattered tile. A stoic look in her eyes as she stood boldly up across from the tower guard. She'd seen the data, alone she stood no chance. But what could she do? Hide? Not like her. Palms at her side grizzled with the sweaty angst, burning with a heat of defiance as she stood in repulsion.
*"Down and cover your eyes Miss Byrne, Calvin---MR. SUDEKI!"*
The quick shout at her rear signalling the focus of her eyes. Ducking aside to look what was in Dean Adam's grip held there were grenades of some sort. Something she knew only from loads of crappy dates where her partner took her to an action flick with the utmost violence and minuscule plot.
The grip from the Dean's grasp would come round quickly, if she'd been on guard for it she'd not have landed on her butt, however she was still locked in a timid glare towards the tower guard. The hook pulled her clean off her feet and in the same swooping motion down and about in front of him landing softly on her rear with an audible.
"Ouf!"
*SMASH*
Jayr being still in the process of being thrown (with lack of a better word) would use the momentum she had being thrown to her rump to twist her hips and roll aside from the debris. Her body now having been angled a foot or so away from the Dean her body chest downwards to the ground with her hands tucked in under her chest and eyes looking up at him to be sure it was over.
"COVER YOUR EYES, MR. SUDEKI!"
This was certainly turning into a war zone, a point where Jayr suddenly second guessed herself if being here at all was worth it, worth her time, and more importantly worth her life? Her hands whipping out from beneath her chest would press her up into a push up, her body peeling its way under the weight of fear. Though the reaction was normal her body helped her with the necessary stimulus to emerge. *"Miss Byrne, please assist Nathan in evacuating the injured students."*"But I can help." Jayr replied desperately through a both irritated and shocked voice. She'd just saved him, not to mention she was probably one of the most qualified here to take on the beast, not to mention her own newly asserted personal bias against the beat only furthered her obsession with being involved. She didn't want to be treated as the helpless maiden who's only purpose was to heal the wounded and serve as entertainment. She was just as worthwhile and ambitious as the boys. Biting her lip Jayr would buy but a second before huffing, "Fine."Getting up Jayr would bolt towards the destroyed background that'd been left by the deadly lance. Her pace quick despite having been tossed about this much already. If she worked quickly than perhaps that'd give her enough of a reason to return to the field, to lead. Then again she also needed to follow, to learn and listen. That was the way of a true leader. Jayr would stop at the first body that lie there plastered against the floor. Flinching slightly at the fragmentation of the body Jayr would take a deep breath quickly before kneeling downwards. "Hey, can you hear me?" She'd say it slowly and drawn out not to intimidate of blur the words. Kneeling with her hands at her sides Jayr would resist touching the girl for fear of getting struck by the repercussions of the electrical field she'd seen the blast discharge. A small nod, the chin and face twitching in noteworthy pain as she did so. Panic in the girl's eyes and Jayr kept a straight face, flushing forth a fake smile. "Its going to be alright, you're just suffering from a shock, it'll be alright just one second." Jayr would spring up quickly eyes surveying the area quickly looking for something to use. Her eyes settling on the wall that was left torn to bits, there was rubber isolation in the walls. Taking a step towards it before looking back, the fear in the girl's eyes. "I'll be right back I promise."A rushed charge as Jayr would rip at the wall forming medium sized blocks of rubber which she coated around her palms quickly and in mild fashion before turning back to the girl and kneeling at her again. "Okay so I'm going to move you close to this wall, then I'll move you off Campus towards the hospital alright. You're going to be alright."An assuring smile however fake it was Jayr moved quickly tugging the girl towards the rubber stretcher she'd quickly fashioned. Now all she needed was a hand in the matter. "Hey someone give me a hand!" She'd shout out with a bit of effort tugging the girl to slide her across the ground towards the handicapped exit where she'd need no aid. However if someone came to help carry the other end of the stretcher she'd move quickly to move them all behind the school where the Tower Guard wasn't at war.[/blockquote]

He was on the island The shoreline was receding and coming back again. There was a soft warm breeze coming from the north. The monkeys were playing cheerfully in the trees. The ants were marching through the forest, removing all waste, nature's janitors. Things were quiet, things were peaceful. He was daydreaming. In his happy place. A sigh arose from within him, he let it escape. He was free. He was safe. *SMASH* He was in their world "COVER YOUR EYES, MR. SUDEKI!"*BLAST* He needed to move, he needed to get out of here. He unchained himself, and broke through his cage. He first glanced at those far away. He couldn't seek safety with others, he did not know who to trust yet. He didn't know if he could trust yet. The first thing he noticed was an injured female. With her was someone else. "Its going to be alright, you're just suffering from a shock, it'll be alright just one second." The person with the injured girl seemed reassuring, collected. Maybe he could trust this one who seemed empathetic towards this injured person? He was then immersed in his thoughts. The only other humans he knew only gave him things to do, never did much for his benefit. Even the kind lady who showed compassion to him left him here to be attacked by whatever was causing such destruction. What if this lady was also someone like that? Only helping others for her own benefit? "Hey someone give me a hand!" His thought process stopped, he saw the lady yet again. The injured girl was in a bedding of sorts. The lady pulling her in some odd direction. He didn't understand what she said completely, but he heard the urgency in her voice and the effort of her to get this injured person to safety. He crawled over, and grunted in response to this ladies request for help. Rather awkwardly getting up onto his two feet, he hunched over, and grabbed the other ends of this bedding. Lifted, and looked at the lady to direct him what to do next. He looked at her questioningly and uncertainly. Is this what she wanted? What should he do? What is happening? Is everything going to be alright? He looked side to side, and whimpered slightly. They then proceeded to an area that seemed safer. Trusting this woman was perhaps the right choice after all? Jayr Byrne has earned "Adam"s trust, level: Weak.

Item: Immortals Tear : This candy is hard crunchy and doesnt taste very good. Its black color usually deters most people from eating it, but its healing properties are what attract people to it. It can do everything the Candy Tear can do and fix all broken bones currently in the body. +10 Con for thread ingested in. Can't Stack

Rush Rush Rush……. Dots having accepted the Contact with the odd man he was able to see the route they were to take and he slowly, followed behind…. Pounding and thrashing his feet moving in beat with his methodical heart.
He followed behind just far enough so if he needed he could be there in the blink of an eye…..
When Dots finally meet up with them in hallways and seeing the fallen blaze, the retreating armored giant, and the beat up room, he let that signature howling laughter ring out of his lungs, filled with sick humor and blood thirst.
As he regained his breath from the sick laughter, his strong sense of smell picked up a familiar scent….. of that place….. he knew that the man he seeks must still live then……… Taking In another deep breath he picked up faint feet steps running through the halls…..
Mockingly addressing the tall man
“W’ll now you smell familiar my friend, but I am sorry I cannot stay and chat, for it is my duty to God to provide retribution to…. True sinners”
Honing in on the direction of the footsteps, Dots would face his left shoulder which was guarded by the Flesh Consumer(Iron shoulder-pad) and his right palm which was emitting small pulses of sonic booms, towards the nearest wall, and begin to charge straight into and through the walls till he would eventually bust out of the school and reach those who were fleeing….
The walls flying apart in his wake, Dots felt that old smile sneaking its way on to his face…. The Rush he used to strive to never let fade returned to his heart as its beat rapidly increased. His mind was focused plagued by images by images of blood and gore he was at peace, he was born a hunter…. And now those who set him free where his prey, for they were the true sinners they defied the natural order, they are twisted and all they do is drag others down with them…. Now Dots has returned, having felt fires unlike any of those created by man he now knew he must bring this pain to those who truly deserve it…… As the last wall crumbled and Dots broke out into the sunset, he would see the Fleeing ones and Reaching to his belt he would remove the extendible baton and Hurl it at full force towards their heads.
“Hell’o Thy Hum’ns, now Have you heard the good news….”
Restraining the Hellish laughter that was fighting at his tongue he would let a mocking smile twist his lips.

The Differences Of A Choice There was a beautiful work in motion for all the symbolism in the world for what was going down at the courtyard to the German. It was as it always was a time and place where the most extreme of occurrences brought out the best and worst in all, the "Tower Knight" providing a nice little catalyst for everyone to unify against. Getting back to earth, however, not only were the students getting severely injured, but the school was under attack again. As redundant as the prior statement may have sounded to anyone else, the fact remained that Public High School #259 had always been on thin ice with the government, the media blasting their scrutinizing eyes all over the campus whenever "yet another fiasco" had come about. The stance of the German remained uncertain, however, as he smiled ever so darkly while surveying the battle below.
In a quick summary to himself, he saw what looked to be David Blaze disappearing in a "blaze" (he was kicking himself over the pun) of glory electric light. A jap with long, funky hair was seemingly coordinating people, fully equipped with smoke grenades, flash bangs, and what have you. Given the distance, it was difficult, but for all the madness that was occurring, the German was focused more on noting the faces of these people. Important people to note in the near future, perhaps... A girl who looked like she should be in the movies. The boy with a striking resemblance to a certain "Lightning Dragon." Miscellaneous people who had been knocked out by the initial wave. And then racing out from a wall like Evel Kf***ingnievel was an instantly familiar fellow, covered in corpse skins.
This was going to cost a lot in terms of repair, but it was a nice change of pace. "Unfettered's" smile prevailed with interesting curiosity. Not even bothering to look down, "Unfettered" utilized his right hand to reach into his phone with an uncommon show (these days) of awareness. Flipping it open with the flick of his wrist, the German's thumb memory of the speed dial was quick to dial for Marina before gently resting the phone to his corresponding ear.
Three rings.*"Hello?"* * "Es ist me."* *"---Sir...? What's that 'smash'ing sound in the background? Is there an earthquake?"* * "No. Assemble Tai, "Green," and Dora. "Teal" is exempt, he's still hospitalized."* *"Understood. Just like we practiced, huh? Standard procedures?"* * "Ja. Und... prep my equipment."* *"...Sir. Yes, yes, you got it."* * "Dank, you're a godsend."* *"Moving out in five, estimated time of arrival is thirteen minutes."* *Click*
With a satisfied grin, the German turned his attention to Vespyr, pocketing his phone before pivoting himself to lean his back against the wall. Arms were folded around his chest comfortably as he looked from Vespyr to the boy by the window and back again."Vell."
"Do ve sit here und vatch? Vill you leave me to my own devices? Shall I leave you to your devices? Do ve help the students in fighting off zat thing? Do ve get the injured out of zer?"
"...Or do ve try to knock out the students?"There was a very casual, sinister look in the German's eye as he smiled unusually with his teeth. Knocking out the students meant going against everyone that was fighting there... but everyone who was fighting there were only provoking the fight to draw out even further then it had to, which would result in more damages to the school. Seeing as how it would be difficult to argue to people in the heat of combat to flee (as it was very unlike a 259er anyways), it would be easier to knock everyone out and insure a smaller actual death toll if they did it themselves. The more that hunk of metal fought, the more that students lives would be at risk.
Conversely, why get involved? "Unfettered" already knew of Vespyr's prioritized "observer" tendencies. However, he was also putting her second-in-command. This was good as a time of any to see how she chose. "Unfettered" was just as fine with collecting information, watching, or getting into the heat of combat.
...And yes, the German was asking this in front of the person known as Lucan Prime. His eye occasionally swiveled back to him, checking on his reactions. A flash of red filled his pupil like a flood... and then nothing."Regardless of your choice, ve should probably head over to ze roof overlooking ze parking lot if ve vant to continue vatching zis," he'd say with a sweep of his hand across his chest to the direction of the rooftop. Being close to the action would allow them to see things more easily (obviously) as well as providing them easy-access into the action, if they chose to dive in. And if Vespyr began walking to the roof, the German would follow.
Though his eye would linger on their compatriot.
...An invitation?

On the very roof that "Unfettered" had pointed to, Scene sat, back to the battle, pressed against the small lip of concrete. Around him, in the shadows of overhangs and Doorways, were the figures of five individuals, all casually watching their leader smoke on a rather pungent cig. It was out of character for the masked man to watch and wait in near silence, resolute in his decision to patiently avoid the confrontation. They trusted him, knew of his strange intuitive sense of situation. A camera was set up in the corner, filming everything, from the Dean, to the ex-Captain of 774, to the metal Knight and the movements of "Unfettered" and Scene's....well, interesting accomplice in certain crimes of a violent sort. One of them, impatient to be under way, spoke.
"Sir- why are we not taking advantage of they're weakness? We could take the place easily."
Scene let out his smoke slowly, letting it rise in front of his mask with a deliberate care.
"Weakness is perspective. Your looking at what you want there to be, not what there is. Patience- things will happen eventually."
He didn't wait this long to see the school crumble only to fail and have himself fall in the process. Timing was of importance in every major situation, and Bradley was simply impatient. The others did not feel the need to step forward, as they all served the will of the iron face. Scene looked over to the Video recorder, watching as the light caught and reflected from the lens. He brought his hand down, squashing the ashes into a bitter plume.
"Taryn, are you getting everything?"
"Yes. All of it."
"Good. I want you all to-"
"I think someone might be coming over."
Scene stopped, staring at her a moment.
"Who?"
"I'm not sure. I just saw the white haired fellow point over here."
"I see."
Scene sat, unmoving, mulling over his thoughts of what was going on in the courtyard. They were at a perfect vantage point, perhaps he could initiate his first introduction of Movement in gang form. It would be difficult, however, with Vespyr away. He wanted her present for everything, yet she seemed... unreliable in some way. Her disgust for him amused Scene, yet it planted in him a stability. If only he could harness-
"What were you saying to do?"
Scene pulled out of his thoughts, looking up at the usually silent male, Ron, who stood hands in pockets. Scene thought it a ridiculous question. They were hidden, and they're presence there would be totally unnoticed, as they had been there hours before the battle had even begun. They scouted the place days prior as well, to make sure none would watch from any vantage point that he knew nothing about.
He shrugged.
"Absolutely nothing."
"They will find us here, if they come over.."
Scene smiled menacingly.
"Then let them."
The other five grinned as well, waiting with eager anticipation and hope.

There were many things to be considered.
Vespyr’s cold stare landed on “Unfettered” as he listed their options, something menacing creeping into his voice at the latter part of the suggestion. The girl remained silent, her eyes fixed on him in a stern, calculating manner. Behind the premeditating violet gaze, her thoughts ricocheted in their attempts to devise a clear plan, beating down the initial confusion which could be blamed on the unexpected strange circumstances. The silence lasted only a few moments, and Vespyr turned follow the German’s gesture to the roof, nodding her head slightly. She exited through the double-doors, passing the male student who had made the witty comment several minutes before with not so much as a cold glance. He didn’t matter.
What did matter?
“What good will getting involved do, exactly? What are we trying to accomplish? What the f*** is even going on?”
Vespyr kept as far from the open courtyard as she could as they made their way to the building from which they would be observing the action. As it loomed before them, she kept her eyes narrowed and rooted on the rooftop, where something had glinted but a moment ago. The flash, barely noticeable and more likely to be a trick of the light than anything, wasn’t what made Vespyr’s chest feel constricted with foreboding. There was something else; something ominous that didn’t have a name and lurked in the back of her mind, giving her the eerie feeling that she was being watched.
Nevertheless, Vespyr entered the building and turned immediately to the staff-only door that she knew led to the roof. She opened it and turned her gaze upward, her confidence tumbling down the winding staircase that she hadn’t even climbed yet. She scaled the steps quietly, her footsteps nearly inaudible. The knot in her chest was growing tighter with every step that she took, and in the back of her mind the ominous presence muttered coldly.
Something’s not right. Turn back.
They were very near; Vespyr could see the roof access placard on the door one flight above them.
Turn back.
"They will find us here, if they come over...”
Vespyr halted, her eyes fixed on the door.
"Then let them."
She recognized the second voice immediately, whirling on the steps to face “Unfettered”, her eyes wide. They glinted strangely; startled, but lost somewhere between a pleasant surprise and an unpleasant shock. She glanced away from “Unfettered”, her face taken by intense contemplation as she realized that she was in a rather sticky situation. It wouldn’t do for them to be seen together… though it was likely she had already been seen, since everything was visible from this particular rooftop. As the first voice had indicated, “Unfettered” had already been spotted.
If they come over…
They had both been spotted.
Fuck.
There would be questions… questions that she would need to be careful in answering if she were to keep Scene’s suspicions at bay; she wasn’t sure how he might react to her being involved in someone else’s plots. Things had just become far more complicated than she initially expected.
Coming to a conclusion, Vespyr leaned forward so that she could speak quietly to the German without being heard by those on the roof.
“You should go. There might be trouble if you stick with me.”
Without pausing to explain, Vespyr turned and continued up the flight of stairs, stopping when she reached the door to shoot the German a commanding glance in case he hadn’t already left. Her hand rested on the door handle for a moment before she turned it and swung the door open quite forcefully, a flood of questions coursing through her mind as the light flooded through the doorway. Why was he here, and who was with him? What were they doing?
Vespyr let the door slam behind her, her eyes fixed intently on the one in the iron mask, ignoring the others.
“What’s this?”

For whatever reason, Lucan was still there, his body being an obstruction in the halls lingering without momentum towards any direction. His pale eyes would search the faces of which took up the space around him, a few panicked students none who stuck around all too long and were quickly dismissed as simply more bodies "interfering". Two in particular stuck by his side, or rather to their own methods. Each of them in their own scroungy appearances, although who was to judge seeing as he had worn but similar attires of the nature but a few days ago on mission. Simple thing was there was a difference. He chose his conflicts, however for this reasoning in itself he felt the negligent choice to sit out. Watch and better understand how this school developed, play it much like the consistencies of the games he played off campus.
Three Rings and Lucan would play the unconcerned look, a slight nod of his head downwards towards the boy noting that he should perhaps take into account that his phone was ringing, that he should answer it. Once it was his head would turn up and to the side, his body finding refuge against a dull and undamaged wall to rest aside. His head angled away as to not appear to be eaves dropping however his ear angled in their general direction. The commands being ushered sounded like that of a military general, something that couldn't be passed up as Lucan took into account his surprise that there was any form of government here to topple, hidden or otherwise.
"Vell."
"Do ve sit here und vatch? Vill you leave me to my own devices? Shall I leave you to your devices? Do ve help the students in fighting off zat thing? Do ve get the injured out of zer?"
"...Or do ve try to knock out the students?"
His attention towards the other girl; the two could be quite the couple considering the demeanor in which they looked, the man however suited to be much older than her at least by standards of schooling may it be, however his appearance seemed both frightening and lax. It was strange to see a military leader so lax, and perhaps careless in a word. Lucan caught himself staring, his eyes quickly darting away towards the cataclysm being unfolded in the courtyard as a section of building crippled under the volt of an enormous freak pressing into the foray.
However considering his words, Lucan wondered though about the player, intentions with no secular center. An agent of chaos perhaps. Too many these days. A grin would set in place as Lucan resisted the subtle urge to laugh. It'd been quite awhile since his veins had felt a charge of this degree.
"Regardless of your choice, ve should probably head over to ze roof overlooking ze parking lot if ve vant to continue vatching zis,"
A quick motion of the boy's hand in what'd be interpreted as his direction as well as a smile. The small noteworthy flinch coming from Lucan as he'd realized he'd been caught. A freeze intentionally as he figured it the best motive of action, the boy had no knowledge of such. It was a risk Lucan was willing to take to resume his composure, his position, and at this point his intentions.
His hands coming uncrossed Lucan would make a slight and almost unnoticeable tug at his collar, his head tightening up at the neck as he jerked towards the doorway before releasing and giving the boy a cold response in the form of a smug glance before turning towards the stairwell. Not a look back but rather the slow processed steps bringing him to the roof.
Quite honestly he was unconcerned with what was indeed happening to this school. What he was however amused by was rather the display of authority, from his observation there was little to solidify a conjuncture of unity. A few mixed and feeble forces here and there but little else that stood as threatening. It bored him, and he'd remain as such until those who sought chaos settled their minds to sanctify order. Then, then there'd be true growth.

Things Have Become Messy Rapidly running down the street with his lungs on fire, Calvin hopped with both legs spread onto his motorcycle, landing his feet into their sides. Mechanically drawing his arms down to the bike's steering, he looked up, his eyes suddenly alert. Quickly, his right hand shot into his pocket, pulling out a cellphone, as he saw and heard in his mind the number of things that could perpetually transpire. This was bad. This was bad. Thiswasbadthiswasbadthiswasbad.
*RING*
*RING*
*RING*
If she picked up, his voice would sound rushed and out of breath."...Sis... Sis! I'm so sorry to call you like this, but... I need your help. Gramps' has been kidnapped and an Enforcer splinter organization is attacking...!" * * * * * * * * * * * * * Things were occurring much more rapidly then expected. Calvin was no longer in the immediate area of the Dean to provide amplified psychic support or continued analysis on their opponents. Jayr Byrne was off helping students and out of danger... while she could watch as the Dean would have their "forces" slowly pull back, allowing the Tower Knight to retreat---to allow her to observe, to allow her to learn and to make her own decisions. This was important for the near future, even if she was fully capable already. This is what the Dean thought.
...This is what the Dean thought as his head suddenly snapped over to another person who had accepted his shared vision. And to this, the Dean's eyes widened in perpetuated horror. Wall after wall caved through this man's eyes as a beast of a man slammed his way through to get to the nearly dissipated battlefield. The man known as "Dots" had arrived and had accepted the carnage.“Hell’o Thy Hum’ns, now Have you heard the good news….” His words were like poisnous fertilizer for an already cancerous, weed-like plant, like some unmaintained raspberry bush to the Dean. He heard the clicking sounds and the Dean's jaw dropped slightly as "Dots" proceeded to throw a baton at the Tower Knight's head, full-blast.
In silence, the Tower Knight took a sudden *SMASH*ing step forward, off the back of the truck, his shield raised in a timely manner to protect his head. The guards that were on standby suddenly raised up their rapid-firing tranq guns.
Hell was about to break loose.* * * * * * In The Parking Lot * * * * * * "Sir, it looks like the Tower Knight has been re-engaged.""Interesting... then #J62 won't be necessary."Propping his feet up onto the desk of the computer monitor of their large, white "cleaners" van, the windows tinted black, the Japanese man looked bored as both nearby hacked video camera as well as satellite images showed him what was going on. Which, to him, were rather pointless as he could feel the damn thing getting re-engaged, its huge foot making a small tremor throughout the premises. Supporting the back of his head with both of his hands, the scientist looked about... #J62's transport hovering dangerously close."Do it anyways. We'll get more out of it, anyhow." His compatriot, an otherwise disposable "Roger" had on a curious look at his superior's aloof decision."Understood," before reaching for a walkie-talkie, speaking into it a bit loudly."Send him in."* * * * * * ...In The Air... * * * * * * *WHUDWHUDWHUDWHUDWHUD*
*WHUDWHUDWHUDWHUDWHUD*
*WHUDWHUDWHUDWHUDWHUD*
The helicopter soared in, the blasts of wind dangerously close as the thing itself lowered down to the center. With reinforced wiring, a wooden crate hung below it. Inside... voices echoed.
*"#J62. You are being released. Setting program to 'Search & Destroy'. Standard hostile-recognition. Eliminate them all."*"...Understood," breathed the voice within...With a *CLACK* the crate was loosed, the suspending wire forcibly severed by the built-in cutting mechanism in the chopper, before it would begin to soar up and away.
A huge *WHAM* welcomed the crate as it cratered near the center of the courtyard, the crate deeply embedded into the concrete. Frailly, the crate's sides fell apart in its four natural ways to reveal a man, standing still, unaffected by his heavy landing."Engaging hostiles." * * * * * * Behind The School, On A Roof * * * * * * High on the rooftops of the school, on the opposing side where the mischief was taking place between Lucan, "Scene," Vespyr, and "Unfettered," were four mysterious figures. Only two of them were familiar."Brother, identified as 'Liquid,' ranked as a 'Holder,' charge of the Execution Squad."".dauqS noitucexE eht fo egrahc ',redloH' a sa deknar ',diuqiL' sa deifitnedi ,rehtorB" The figure sitting on the ledge below the twins smiled to himself, revealing a jaw of serrated teeth, much like a shark."Yes, R.B.""A new brother of ours is down there, about to be engaged into combat. He is beyond saving. I charge you, under our leader's law, to save him."".mih evas ot ,wal s'redael ruo rednu ,uoy egrahc I .gnivas dnoyeb si eH .tabmoc otni degagne eb ot tuoba ,ereht nwod si sruo fo rehtorb wen A"..."I thought you might say that. It will be done."With a hop, the man took hefted his device onto his shoulder and jumped down several stories and landed without so much as a "hink." Virtual silence. Walking past a certain two students who were helping out the injured, the overly suspicious looking man smiled to him as he pulled the chain of his machine, letting it roar with a *WHIRRRRRRR*.
Hefting the chainsaw with ease, Liquid smiled to himself."Then I shall save the F*** out of you, brother." * * * * * * * * * * * * * Without warning, #J62 rushed past the Dean, recognizing him as a lesser threat (physically) and race towards the "Dots" as his sensors---
*"#J62, BEHIND YOU! IT'S LIQUID."*
Incapable of whirling around, #J62's voice ripped out of his chest---"LIQUIIID!""BROTHERRR!---" *Whirr*
*WHIRRRRRRR*
*WHIRRRRRR---* Just as his hand was extended out in a stabbing thrust towards Dots, #J62 looked down to his chest, drops of blood racing down from his nose and and eyes. His eyes were bloodshot and He only saw the tip of the chainsaw that had stopped its immediate grind into his body. Even then, #J62 realized already that he was dead. Wordless because his lungs were crushed, he attempted to look back at Liquid, who smiled serenely on him with loving, caring, sadistic eyes. "Go in peace, brother."
"I'll meet you in Valhalla."
"Or Hell."
"I'm not really picky."*WHIRRRRRRRRR*
...
Fifty-two seconds. Fifty-two seconds for the occurrences of all of this. The Dean looked on in confusion, while the Tower Knight, seemingly aware, took a "light" step back, onto the truck, silently beckoning his guards to follow in after him. Things had become far too dangerous. Muffled walkies would talk, with the wheels grinding into the asphalt as the truck would attempt to disengage from Public High School #259 as quickly as possible. Two guards on the sides of the Tower Knight aimed their tranq guns to make for a perfect crossfire for any wouldbe pursuers, their eyes trained in particular on the baton-thrower.
Without a word, Liquid would begin walking off, regardless of what happened next, his job finished---but not fast enough to leave the area in one go.
"R.B." had already disappeared along with their one other compatriot.
Unless anything further happened, the Dean would take the time to look at the dissected top half of the former #J62, its blood pooling by massive quantities.* * * * * * * * * * * * * "WHAT THE F*** HAPPENED!?" a look of pure rage and frustration at what had just occurred only a minute ago."...Sir, I'm getting us out of here. It's too hot to stay any longer.""...---Hm. Yes. Very well then."* * * * * * * * * * * * * Public High School #259 had been saved, but it wasn't out of the woods, yet. Calvin had already drove off at this moment (Moderator OOC: Bastille, you still have the chance to catch up to Calvin, if you have a motorcycle, or you can check out the campus itself). Freddo had been kidnapped. There was massive damages to the school itself which would cost several thousand to repair... and the mysterious, chainsaw-toting figure was still stalking off.
The Dean had no idea what would happen next, but noted the disinterested look and body language of their "savior" who had made even the Tower Knight reconsider. There would be an unnatural calm on Mr. Adam as he surveyed the scene... not knowing if the students would engage this man in combat or no. Without Calvin here, only Nate was available and under their jurisdiction, they could not utilize firearms without proper authorization, making him relatively useless in comparison versus Calvin and Freddo in terms of sheer fighting power.
Nate had been calmly evacuating the students all this time to the back with Miss Byrne and if they had gotten all of them, would have begun administrating what aid he could, having already called 911. There was nothing he could do, so he worked diligently, speaking calmly to the injured...
This was either the best of circumstances or the very, very worst. -Jayr Byrne has accepted the Student Dean's telepathic channel! He can talk telepathically/instantly and grant the Student Dean access to what he sees and hears!
-Deta (Dots) Teyfour has accepted the Student Dean's telepathic channel! He can talk telepathically/instantly and grant the Student Dean access to what he sees and hears!
-Experiment #J62 has been killed just as quickly as he appeared!
-Liquid is still on the campus but will leave unless disturbed otherwise. His reaction pends on the provocation.
-Tower Knight will retreat even if further engaged. His guards will shoot tranq guns (-1 Constitution A Shot) at any who approach with a sense of hostility. Enforcer Splinter Organization forces are speeding off on a truck.
-Calvin has left to chase after the initial Unknown who had fled earlier! Can only be engaged into a post by Bastille.
-The ambulances are coming!
-This is not the final post. All may post one more round. Pending on what occurs, this thread may end on the next post or be delayed further. The thread may continue without moderator presence if the former.

Aid at last Jayr would work quickly managing to drag the frail girl if but a few inches in the time she'd started to when the newly sought out boy "Adam" appeared. Under the conditions she was very much at her breaking point, this hadn't happened to such an extent in San Diego, the closest thing were those men breaking onto campus ground and surly none had been wearing armor destroying school property nor indulging in people's immense pain. It made her sick looking down on the frail girl's body quivering under the weight of the new air touching her scorched skin.
Her eyes would turn up pleading out for help but with lack of the words to bolster support, shock trembling in her hues. Jayr finally found it, the fear that'd made up Dean Adam's face earlier, that same concern that'd forced her to manage the bodies. With a slow nod Jayr would look up eying the boy just standing there as a ripple of anger jolted past her.
"HEY!" She'd shout through a raspy voice, the sense that tears would come to her face any moment out of the sense of fear but repressed back behind a bravado of anger. "Lets go!"
Firm and assertive Jayr would grab her side toting the body past the back exit kicking a metal frame in her way, of course that was commending the simple realization that Adam had indeed chosen to stick with his choice in moving the body otherwise Jayr would have been forced to toppled the girl over her shoulder in a painful way, for both of them. Continuing on past the back lawn Jayr would give the boy a slow nod towards the boy that'd helped her in a suggestive manner to let her down slowly. And if preceded Jayr would follow his lead.
"Thank you for the help, I'm headed back in." Jayr managed though her voice quivered for a second in subtle shock looking past the man Dean Adam had sent to aid them.
In her vision she'd noted the monstrosity with the chainsaw, a sick way about him as blood spewed across the front yard in the Dean's line of sight. Sickness regurgitated from her belly finding its way up into her throat and Jayr would stumble to find her balance heavy with the weight of disgust she'd falter off a few feet from the evac zone and collapsed to her knees to puke into the grass. Unflattering for her image, but unstoppable by all matters as she coughed up the stuff violently before pressing to stand upright once more.
"Whats going on?" The words spoken meant to be answered to her by anyone who might so choose.
A wild look in her eyes not acknowledging another before she'd bolt back into the structure headlong without knowledge of anyone at her flank unless they so chose to take flight.
It seemed as though she wasn't the only one lost. But in the same instant, she was found. Hurtling past the hallways and corridors Jayr found the scar on the building, the one left by the first blast at the center a crippled doorway with a familiar battered face at the ground.
Rushing to the aid of him she'd lean down not sure yet what to pay mind to as she'd missed his call for attention to his pocket, her only though was. 'Save as many as you can. Save them all.'
Jayr in her collected and still panicked state would lean down below David's left arm and let her right come under his other side to lift him and with a bit of his assistance hopefully pull up into a walk for both of them. However hindered it was they'd both move slowly provided he didn't resist to the action.
"K'mon I'm going to get you out of here. Just." She felt the rush of pain behind her eyes come back, the stress of tears. "Just hold on." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* The wrenching pain surged through her skin from the contact of the blast, infantile fury striving through all her parts as Jess clawed at the base beneath her. Hands muddled with soot and blood she screamed with no one answering.
'Just what is going on?'
The screams in her chest falling short of a breath, her winded features befuddled and horrified against the cataclysm that'd surrounded her.
Moments pass, as they so commonly do, Jess clawed again from what was once earth and ground was now rubber and space. Reaching out to the floor but finding nothing, her legs and arms bound by her rescuers or were they the villains behind this nonsense? Panic arose in her eyes bleached green facades of shimmering pools manically scribing for control over the situation that was violently unending.
"Whats going on?"
Tears in her eyes but the pain everywhere was too much, her bodily fluids seeping from everywhere to coat the wounds, she could not cry, she could not weep, she could not speak or move. 'God Help me.' She stammered with silent lips trying to get the two carrier's attention but falling short of the one at her wrists turning her head down towards the boy with a desperate call. Her lips painted black and white from the heat that'd left them chapped to a whole new degree, the pain surrounding her still.
'Please....Help me.'
A sudden drop, momentum of a soft landing finding itself replaced by a harsh movement, everything seemed magnified under the pretenses of gentle but nothing made sense anymore. The putrid acidic scent of vomit snarling into her lungs made Jess consider the same but she couldn't gag without the muscles in her neck tense up and burn with the heat that'd struck her. Every movement was a new pain, every action a harder trial.
The girl was gone, her racing boots taking up the stairways without a second glance and fear consumed her for the first time, understanding that the pain was much worse enough to spark breath and motion. Her head swooning towards the boy rapidly angling towards him would wrench out and snatch a leg with her good hand, the left one that was only blemished with the ashen color.
"Please....stop.. hurt."
