"...Anyways."
She was silent for a moment, pondering... Then her face darkened, the smile fading into something even more subtle and sly. She glanced down and reached into her other pocket...
Stepping away from the car with finesse, she walked toward him slowly, grinning again, holding something leather in both her hands.
A collar and leash.

Y'know... The boy would blink. His eye's gaze crawled from the girl down to the collar and the leash.
...
Was she expecting him to wear it?
...
"...Smash?"

"Yes, Smash."
Addressing him by his new name, she leaned over him and calmly attempted to wrap the collar around his neck and fasten it, and then attach the leash to it. She straightened up when she finished, grinning down at him with dark amusement.

"But... But Why?" Confused, the boy seemingly let the strange girl attach the leash around his neck, even almost tilting his head in towards it. But there was still much confusion in the boy's head over the matter.
To check for the tightness around the collar, the boy raised his right hand to the collar to loop his forefinger around it, tugging at it, the nape of his neck tightening uncomfortably under the pressure.
He immediately ceased.
Confused.
"...Smash...?"
"D=?"

She observed his reaction mutely, assessing just how easily she might be able to subjugate her new pet. A definite glint of dominance was in her eyes, which she didn't bother to hide. She merely reached into her pocket again and withdrew another treat.
Holding it out to him, she continued to smile, never breaking her gaze.

"Food." All confusion was swept away the moment that the girl reached into her pocket. His entire face perked up and his mouth opened, salivating slightly when the girl finally did reveal the treat.
Confusion over the collar was secondary in comparison to the rewards for obedience, apparently.
The boy went into a crouch, looking up at it, his eye glinting with anticipation.
=D!?

She would feed him the treat.
"Yes, I think this will be... rather easy.
Come. There is someone I want you to meet.~"
The grin melted into something of a much more sly nature as she began to walk back toward the street, leash in hand.

There had been a certain degree of "interest" that the boy had developed in recent years with such flying creatures. So, collar around the neck and all, he began running at full speed in the opposite direction, towards the crow flying overhead.
...And if Vespyr wasn't careful, with her in drag.

"SMASH."
Vespyr braced herself as the boy took off like a rocket, holding the leash tightly in both her hands.
"Smash, behave."

Perfect Communication "SMASH.""SMASH!"
"=D!"
The leash bore deeply into his neckline, gagging him as before he finally stopped chasing after the crow. Halting, the boy's arms flung forward, nearly falling over---save for the fact that the girl's tugging was holding him up."Smash, behave.""...Smaaashhh..."
"D="
He pointed at the crow that was quickly getting away, a look of 'But... but... it's getting away!' on his face.

"No, Smash. We like crows. They are very intelligent creatures."
Slowly, she began to pull the leash back, hoping to set the boy back on his feet again and eliminate the strain on her hand.
"Also they help pick the bones clean so that I may use them."
This was said rather nonchalantly, of course.

Sign of Life? ...
...There was a strange look that came over the boy's face.
To Vespyr, the boy was perhaps actually... shrugging, agreeing.
"Smaaaassshhhh..."
The boy stood up, tilting his head as he motioned to follow her, the previous traces of retarded hyper-energy gone.

Vespyr merely stared at the boy for a moment, noting the change in his demeanor. Her eyes would be seen narrowing ever-so-slightly in deep thought as she turned back in the direction that she was walking: to the apartment of "Unfettered".

LET'S GO FOR A WALK! WALK! WALK! =D The boy would ignore the stares, his gait returning to his normal lanky stride, exempt of the former signs of "awareness" that he appeared to hold for a brief few seconds.
...An awareness (or lack thereof) that resulted in his near early demise as he would nearly find himself derailed on multiple occasions by passing automobiles, people, adertised television sets that were turned on, only to be reined in every time by the collar of his leash.
It would be a fairly exhausting time.

"You're doing so well."
Though praising, Vespyr's words sounded cold and insidious. There was no way of getting around it; that was just her voice.
"We're almost there."
She half-turned back to look at him as she ascended the stairs. She looked vaguely amused, but her eyes were dark and her voice still plagued by an ominous tone.
She would knock on the door once, twice, and then retreat back to the top of the stairs to lean nonchalantly against the railing.
