Sight beyond sight! (Daniel/Leon)

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew had received a carrier pigeon from Leon! And the gist of it said that he had found a sensor named Daniel that he might be interested in. And of course Mathew was always interested in useful tools! Be they people or objects. So he would make time to meet with Leon and meet this sensor. Once he was dressed and ready he made his way to Leon's tower.

Pushing past the crowds of people that always seemed to be there for some reason or other he took the VIP route. Also known as literally shoving and pushing people out of his way. That would show them to stand in his way!

Reaching the top of the tower he would look for Leon. He didn't know what Daniel looked like, so he wouldn't bother looking for Daniel. Just Leon.

Leon was chilling in his usual spot in his throne doing his ruler thing. With Yun's whisper Leon would nod and leave the throne to go talk to Mathew while Yun handled the court.

"Hello, brother."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Sup dude?"

Mathew gave Leon a head nod. Even if he couldn't see it. Slapping Leon on the back he would help lead him away from the crowd. He only assumed that Leon wanted to talk in private. Or at least somewhere with less clamor and chatter.

"So I got your letter. Or I guess Yun's letter that you dictated?"

He shrugged.

"Either way, you ask and I come."

Daniel would come walking into the Lightning Tower, dressed in his overcoat as usual, having been summoned to meet with Leon and Mathew Amtrum, the Earth Dragon, and would simply weave his way through the crowds of people gathered. The Blind King's work was never done it seemed, and after being directed by Yun to Leon's location, reaching the top of the tower, would go searching for Leon.

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would chuckle a bit.

"Indeed, well then."

Leon had felt the other presence moving nearer and would turn to wave Daniel over.

"This is Daniel Lee. I've yet to completely test him in all his abilities, but he has one that may be of use. It was an ability granted by the Gamble Fruit I've come to calling those who get it 'Sensors'. He can feel the power of someone without having to see them. However seems his mutation is different than what I've come across before. Like Levi, Yun, or myself."

Seeing Leon wave him over, his height allowing Daniel to see over the heads of the crowd, he'd walk over, bowing to Leon respectfully and then bowed to the other man, Mathew Amtrum, the Earth Dragon, Ares, God of War, Pharaoh of the Sun God Ra, The Conqueror of the Dragon Slayer, the list goes on. He would stand beside Leon silently as he was introduced, even before seeing Mathew, he had already detected and understood he was stronger than himself... much stronger duh.

"Uh huh."

He was always a little jealous and upset that he didn't get that ability from the gamble fruit. Not that his abilities were not good. But he wanted it all. He saluted Daniel, but kept his focus on Leon at the moment.

"How is it different?"

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would raise a hand to his chin trying to pinpoint it.

"Its hard to really guess considering the Gamble Fruits, but for some reason he can't sense where I am... It could be something about the effects of the Gamble Fruit itself, but its too early to really say which."

[Ryu Sakazaki]

Daniel would nod, to confirm Leon's explanation.

"It's strange though. Even though I could not sense Master Leon, I could sense you before I even saw you, Honorable Earth Dragon. Master Leon, could it be because an attribute of your Qi differs somehow from his?"

[Mr. Kaar]

After a long conversation it turns out Mathew has no current use for Daniel as it stands so Leon adds him to his Core Three Squads to assist with missions and the like should the need come up, but for now his orders are to get stronger and learn to hone his sensing skills.
