Cain listened to all of that with a slightly amused grin, and at the end of it, nodded.
"Like I said. Celebrating." he repeated, turning to saunter beside her down the street.
"And stoppin' by to see what you were up to, 'course.~"
He stopped a moment after she stopped, eying her curiously as the Bluetooth in her ear crackled and delivered its message. Cain didn't catch all of it, but he did catch the man's name and his visage brightened with a rather toothy knowing grin. 'That'd be the guy.'
Meanwhile, Ari was mumbling something incoherent onto Cain's shoulder but stopped and bolted upright. The hair over his eyes flounced back to reveal his rather aghast expression.
"sdfasjdkfhLUCIEN?" he stuttered, clinging tightly to Cain's chest like a dismayed koala... in a dress.

Saul, meanwhile, had for a moment forgotten about his perceived threat in Lucien and found himself fascinated with the bump and swirl of the rough asphalt. Even in the late evening the little indentations and miniscule mountains in the black road were prominent. And to the credit of the LSD, Saul was suddenly having a wonderful time watching the hills and valleys of the ground shift and grow and fall and flatten.
It wasn't until the crackle of the bluetooth indicating Delilah's response that the man snapped back to attention and surveyed possible escapes or vantage points to get to nearby.
About a hundred feet behind Lucien, a rather tall tree stood comfortably close to a house, and it's large bows rested wearily on the roof and chimney. Saul's eyebrow arched and cast his eyes on the other man, knowing what his back up plan was now.

Lucien heard the response come through, sighing with relief in knowing she was on her way. Now.. What to do in the meantime...
Lucien didn't think it would be very constructive to try and deal with the man himself, especially since he was definitely still drugged, and possibly dangerous to others and to himself. So, he decided to disappear.
Activating his Qi, he slowly stepped away, towards a tree that was a few metres behind him. Hopefully, Saul Kelly didn't react too badly to his disappearing act.
Maybe his mind will just interpret it as a ghost, or a mirage, or a hallucination?

Upon Lucien's disappearance, Saul's gaze would flicker about as he tried to set his eyes on the man he was sure was there moments before. Not seeing him, the man rose from his position on all fours to his feet. Standing tall at 6'6", the beast towered over most he encountered, and at the moment hoped that would be enough to ward off Lucien while he used his little disappearing act.
Turning his head side to side, he still saw nothing and bellowed out a challenge to the invisible man, though his feet stayed firmly planted as he waited for his opponent to make an appearance.

Delilah looked at Cain out of the corners of her eyes with a modicum of suspicion (and irritation...and amusement) "A restful night of paperwork. Until you livened things up, that is."
Her eyes moved to the young man dressed as a women hanging from Cain's shoulder, finally recognizing the soft spoken young man as Ari from a few weeks prior. Her eyebrows lifted in surprise, then flicked back to Cain, gauging his reaction...if he even had one.
"Uh-huh. Looks like he's dealing with your friend who wandered off. We'll be there soon.
"...You gonna be okay?"
The question was asked with begrudging concern, as if she didn't want to sound worried for the young men (one of whom was drunk, in a dress, and had a hand in throwing severed heads all over the place and the other who was handling the hostile man on ecstasy)...though she could not abandon the nurturing part of her nature, no matter how hard she tried.

"YEAH, yeahyeahyeah... it's cool it's cool... " Ari hastily responded, a little too hasty. He buried his face in Cain's shoulder, seething, muttering privately.
"...dress..."
Cain let out a derisive, high-pitched chuckle at the boy's expense. He turned his rather amused grin over to Delilah, raising his brow.
"He looks good, huh?"
Ari thumped his small fist weakly against Cain's chest.

Almost perfectly in time with how Ari's small hand thumped Cain's chest, Delilah flicked out her hand to punch him in the shoulder without looking. Though there was the smallest smile on her lips.
The smallest.
"So you brought the party to me becaaaause?" she deviated the subject away from Ari (he said he was okay, but he didn't SOUND okay). She habitually checked street signs and corners as she walked, her hands never straying far from the knives at her hip.

"It's 'bout time we partied," Cain answered, hardly even a pause between her asking and his replying, almost making one fluid sentence punctuated by his firm glance and a knowing grin.

Shoulda guessed.
"Uh-huh," Blue orbs anchored themselves on his red stare, almost challenging...though someone like Cain didn't need much of a reason to do the things, let alone a challenge.
Her voice dropped low and she shifted her walk to be nearer to him, her tone amused, almost flirty. "I dunno...last time I partied, I wound up on a couch in a pawnshop with the wrong sort of man~."
Inwardly, Delilah smacked her palm to her forehead and gave her head a shake. Either something was wrong with her or he was just a master of taking the seriousness out of a situation.

The man wore a rather satisfied smirk as she moved closer, like he'd won something. This wouldn't be the first time she'd gone from furious to flirting with him in a matter of minutes, after all, and that fact was not lost on him as coincedence.
"Don't forget the graveyard" he coyly hummed, mischief in his voice and a somewhat promiscuous sidelong glance to ensure she remembered... exactly... though he had no doubts that she did.
Meanwhile, hidden underneath his hair, Ari's eyes were open and studying Delilah's face with a slightly furrowed brow. He made no comment and could easily be mistaken for having fallen asleep again. [/blockquote]

A throaty chuckle emanated from the mechanic as she matched his lustful look, a suggestive smile tugging the left corner of her mouth--
--she quickly faced forward as she noticed that the young man hanging from Cain's shoulder was turned towards her. He was probably unconscious again...or asleep.
But she hadn't imagined the tingle that went up her spine as her eyes looked into the place where his face should have been.
And just in time, the sounds of an enraged animal would reach the ears of the people looking for it. Delilah would lift finger to her lips (shhhhh)...and then to her bluetooth to tap it once.
"Lucien, I am in proximity...where are you?"

At the sudden animalistic bellow, Cain's attention shifted away from Delilah and he remembered with indifference what they were actually hoping to accomplish here. His red eyes swept down the street until they fell on Saul. Though the acid-tripping man was just standing, his likeness struck Cain as more of a dumb, angry bear reared up on its hind legs. A slight grimace tugged at the corner of his mouth, annoyed.
"HEY, FAGGOT!" he shouted, a friendly greeting.
Ari's head shifted to get a look at Saul but he remained completely still otherwise, hoping that if he didn't move no one would notice him.

Lucien heard his radio crackle once, and then turned his head slightly to see Delilah rounding the corner. Guess this was it. He was just about to unstealth and join the dark-haired woman when he realized who she was accompanying.
...
"Stealthed. Secure. Once you're in position, I'll circle around to cut off his exit if he bolts."
Hopefully the feral Saul Kelly was too preoccupied with the screaming of the profanities (which were kind of offensive to mostly everyone involved, given the circumstances), to notice Lucien's whispered response. He really didn't feel like being charged at like a Bullfighter.

Delilah would have whacked Cain upside the head if Lucien hadn't responded just then....or if she hadn't recognized the feral man in a tutu bellowing in the street.
"I know that guy."
She paused, remembering.
"He and some weird twins attacked me in May."
At this range, Cain and Ari might be able to tell by the expression on her face that things had not gone well for Mr. Saul Kelly and the Creeper Twins.
Inhaling slowly, Delilah stepped forward, slowly, starting towards Saul. "Heeeeyy buddy. Remember me?"

The quiet around the beast was broken as a vaguely familiar gravelly voice shouted at him, and Saul snapped his head around to look at where the noise was coming from. A tall man with something strapped to his chest and a strangely familiar woman rounded the corner, and the man's scowl shifted into a toothy snarl at the pair.
Maybe the woman would notice the differences in the man's appearance from the last time she saw him. For one, he was in a fairy outfit. But more importantly, he stood three inches taller, the claws on both his hands and feet had lengthened even more and began to curve, his ears had elongated slightly and become a bit more conical, and the canines in his lower jaw jutted out a half inch more than any other teeth.
As soon as she spoke though, Saul knew she was bad. Though he couldn't recall how he knew her, the woman's voice was laced with the memory of bad times. An audible growl rumbled in his throat as she approached, his body straightening out even more to appear bigger as he took a step back for every one she took forward.
Ignoring both the man who had arrived with her and forgetting his search for the man who was in front of him a few minutes ago, the man's dilated gaze was focused intently on the woman approaching him.
