[ooc: Open to Kiyr first, then any influential Dragons (Bastille, Eury, Kazuya, Levi, Mathew, Leon, David, etc). Reforming of leadership.] ---
David had returned, briefly, but had no intention of taking his place back as leader of the Dragons. Mathew was AWOL and Leon was last seen in his tower. Someone had to run things around here, and since David had dropped all his responsibilities to his Voice, she was a good candidate. She spent most of her days spilt between the War Room and the compound, readying the troops and making plans for defense and offensive strategies. It was a busy life.
Too busy for one person to carry alone.
Olesya needed to rebuild her core team. They hadn't convened since the metting held by David, and the structure needed to be solid now more than ever. She sent a messenger for Kiyr first, messengers for the others to be delivered about a half hour afterward. She wanted to be able to speak to Kiyr alone before the rest of the core team convened.
She stood in the War Room, her back to the door. She stood up straight with her hands behind her back, scanning the papers on the bulletin board with interest. Barker's latest sightings and movements, as well as any threatening outlying rogues. Most of the ruge factions were small enough to smother if needed, Barker was the primary target.

No more than thirty minutes after Olesya had dispatched the messenger for Kyrie, light would shine in to the War Room before it was cut off, just as silently. There was no need to give any explanation for where she was, though the crackling, heavy boom that sounded like a crack of thunder on this clear day indicated the blonde had been far enough away she chose to 'fly', and high enough she could make the distance...her whereabouts perhaps being at one of her six Groves was a fair guess. Blue eyes swept the room, looking at what changed and what stayed the same.
They lingered moments too long on a coloured chair, which was a beacon of hope, still, for many Dragons, she knew. A chair that was now Olesya's as she was acting as an Elder in David's leave. She planted her feet and stood, grounded, and as silent as a ghost, eyes seeming to be quiet and distant. She did not wish to be here, alone with Olesya; her heart squeezed out a pained beat in her chest. The blonde had been keeping busy within the three or so weeks since they had spoken. Between her ghost mission to Mexico City to her other duties and goings-on, there was little time for much else, which included run-ins with the acting-Elder in this interim.
The blonde remained silent, adhering to the chain of command. She may have been Mathew's Apprentice. She may have been rising and gaining respect among her family that was the Core. She may have been exceptional in information gathering...
But Olesya ranked above her.
And though she hadn't said the last time they had spoke, that the petite blonde had lost a large amount of respect already for Olesya, it didn't show. It was, after all, separate from their stations within the Dragons, and if nothing else, Kyrie was discreet enough that she could separate them. But for the moment, she wondered if this was personal or business. Either way, it would not change her reserved composure. She waited, careful to keep her eyes along the wall, seemingly unfocused.

Olesya knew without a shadow of a doubt that there would be awkwardness between the two of them. That was what she was going to address today. Kiyr's lack of respect for Olesya would match Olesy'a lack of trust for Kiyr, but that was personal business that had no place in the War Room. The fact of the matter was that they both held positions of power, and neither could operate without the other.
The crack and flash didnt not appear to startle Olesya, though her pupils did shrink and dialate in response. She knew Kiyr had certain powers, what with her shadow bending and all, so it wasn't a complete surprised. She kept her back to Kiyr for the moment, still seemingly reading the board, and calming the thudding in her chest.
"I'm not going to assume you know why I called you here."
She began, still standing straight-backed.
"But in order for things to run smoothly, I will be as frank as possible."
She turned around, placing her hands on the table between them, her gaze seeking Kiyr's. If they met, she would lock gaze with her, if not, she would continue to look at Kiyr with a stern, purposeful gaze.
"We obviously didn't start off on the right foot, though why I wasn't sure until a couple weeks ago."
She paused, not needing to go into further detail...they both knew.
"However, our personal business has no place in this room. David had left his duties to me, and in return I am now acting as him, as the interim-Elder. Our core has shaken, it is missing links, and needs to be rebuilt, now more stronger than ever. I need you Kiyr, you have skills and talents that are useful at a leadership level. My hope is, that at least within this room, you can treat me with the same amount respect as I am giving you. If you cannot separate your business and personal life, I will have no choice than to remove you from rank. I cannot afford liabilities with Barker nipping at our heels. Can I promise that from you?"
And here it was, the olive branch of sorts. Despite what happened and will happen in their personal lives, Olesya needed to know that they would both leave it at the door. A war was no place for personal motives and relationships. David had been sure to uphold that when he was in charge. She was his Voice, but when it came to business, he had treated her like a soldier, not his love interest. She needed to know that Kiry could treat her as her superior and teammate, not her rival.
Olesya could not remove Kiyr's Shadow status, that was a title given by the Earth Dragon himself. She could, however, pull rank and have her removed from her core of advisor's and teammates. She needed a solid core to run the army, she couldn't afford to have any weaknesses. A weakness was a death sentence.

Kiyr's eyes first flickered towards Olesya as she first began to speak. It was good to not assume; neither had Kiyr, though she did have her suspicions and guesses. Her eyes slid back to the wall as she wondered if the white-blonde woman she had given everything--her hopes and dreams because it was within her nature to do so. She had given everything Olesya needed to keep David - in her mind, everyone needed their wake-up calls, even her - freely even knowing she was hurting herself and giving this gift that came with an extremely high price. It was a strange twist of events that things were as they were, now. But it changed feelings for neither of the two women.
Her wondering was confirmed to be false as Olesya turned and leaned against her hands. The blonde's gaze focused and slowly turned to her, showing the woman the respect she was due as the interim-Elder. While her gaze was cool, quiet, and betrayed nothing, it also showed thoughtfulness and that keen intelligence she was known for despite that reserve. Clearly, Olesya had her attention, and would see that.
Despite the flash of annoyance at the insinuation she perhaps couldn't separate business from personal conflict, it did not reflect in her normally expressive gaze. She listened with that quiet way of hers, turning Olesya's words over and inside out in her mind.
And though she thought she had nothing left to give Olesya, Kyrie surprised herself as she found she did.
It was a very simple truth.
But perhaps it was one that Olesya would not be able to wrap her mind around the complex layers beneath the surface.
Kyrie blinked slowly, choosing her words with extreme care.
"I do not know what kind of person you think me to be, Olesya." As she stood there, back straight and neither leaning nor sitting, taking no liberties as Olesya had made it a point to stress the difference in their stations; not that the blonde would have been comfortable enough to sit, anyway. She imagined Olesya probably likened to her as a vulture at the very least. A thief of the heart of the man she loved, otherwise? Her voice was soft but there was a firm spine of steel in the undertone as Kyrie expressed the importance of this. Of what she was telling her and giving her. "But this is the one thing you need to know about me, if nothing else: regardless of how I look at or feel about you and regardless of your station in comparison to mine, I would never wish nor would I seek to draw harm towards you. And if harm did find you, I would not hesitate to come to your defence and your aid, as I have done once before. As I will continue to do. What you need to understand, the reasoning behind that, is that harm to one is harm to us all. Harm to you is harm to my family--because you and the rest of the Dragons are my family, and so harm to Maddie, to David, and to me in turn. I have never, nor will I ever, stand for it."
She slowly closed her eyes and opened them again.
"I would die, Olesya, before allowing you or causing harm to come to you from our enemies. On that I give my word and oath." She could feel the bonds of those words. Just like her promise to shield Scarlet from harm--her life thousands of times before even once for hers, so she gave Olesya. What was more? She expected nothing of the same in return. As she told Olesya, it was something the white-blonde needed to understand about the Shadow Walker. "That said, and to be clear... Yes. I can, have, and will set personal feelings aside in the affairs of business."

Olesya held her gaze with Kiyr's as the young woman spoke. She kept her face carefully neutral, though was pleased a tthe words coming out of her mouth. Kiyr was a true soldier, living and dying with her brothers. That was what Olesya needed to hear, that despite their differences, they were part of the same chain, and unbreakable chain. Emotions be damned, to be a Dragon was to be part of a pride. If one hurt, you all hurt. If one died, you all felt the loss.
"Thank you."
She raised her right fist and pressed it against her heart, the sign of a Dragon's respect. She may have her uncertainties in regards to her personal life, but in her business life, the bond was sealed.
"To have you as my core is to trust you with not only my life, but the lives of our brethren. I am honored to call you one of my chosen and I thank you as well."
She, too, chose her words carefully. It was like tiptoeing through a mine field. How they handled the other's situation would mean success or failure for them all. Removing the personal aspect removed the mines from the equation. It was better for them all if they left their feelings at the door, Olesya's included.

There was little to say, though she hadn't expected Olesya go so far as to say it was an honour. The petite blonde gave an owlish blink before nodding. Her own hand clasped to a fist over her heart and she bowed.
As she would to an Elder.
Slowly, she straightened. So then. She was part of Olesya's fold, as well.
"The honour is mine."

So that was it then, a Dragon's oath. In time, the two of them may settle their personal differences, but for now there is the verbal agreement that they will not let it get in the way of the brotherhood that the Dragon's held in such high regard. They were not friends, but they were not enemies. Perhaps 'rivals' was an adequate term for it, playing off each others strengths and weaknesses. After all, 'rival' was not synonymous with 'enemy' and even brethren could have rivalries within their own fold.

The blonde quietly deliberated. Not on whether she should bring up personal things, but of what she should bring up in regards to business. She moved away from the table and chairs, over towards the board to see what kind of information Olesya had. Her eyes thoughtfully and thoroughly scanned over things, and occasionally she would trace a finger across the words she was reading.

The door opened, and David walked in.
Unlike the two ladies here, he was not dressed in Dragon gear. He wore blue jeans, running shoes and a purple hoodie that zipped up in the front. He had a slight sweat at his brow, being that he was just working out, and his eyes narrowed between the two of them.
"Your mail man wasn't very forthcoming on details, just that you were calling me here."
He held his hands out at in front of him as though to say "Well...?"
"What...can I do for you?"

Olesya's eyes widened slightly at his entrance. She was actually surprised to see him here...considering her and Kiyr's subject topic up until he walked in. She took a glance at the war room and then back to him.
"I never thought you'd actually come. I'm reforming the core, in your absence. Need all the help I can get. I thought you said you were done with the war and politics?"
Not that she wasn't happy to see him, her stomach was doing flip flops, but she was surprised as his pique of interest.

David glanced at Kiyr.
"I am done. But that fella you sent to get me just said you needed me straight away...he didn't say why. Was this...am I coming in on something? I can go..."
David was rather sheepish now- he definitely should have hung back and seen what happened before he jumped in, but he didn't expect to be summoned to a war meeting...if he got ahold of the damn Dragon that told him to come... He'd pop his head off.

The light shining in caused the blonde to turn and blink rapidly at the person she saw. David? But he wasn't...he didn't want to be part of this. Confused and curious, she watched, fidgeting.
A glance at Olesya and one eyebrow momentarily twitched downwards. She sent for him?
She didn't know if it was a game - not likely by her reaction - and David's expertise would be welcome...but it was cruel, in her mind. To send for him to bring him in when he had said he wanted no part in it. She sighed softly, but didn't make any other sign of her disappointment. It would be one thing to ask David for advice, or perhaps if he had heard rumours...this, to Kiyr, was another.
"I do not think you are coming in on anything in particular, David..." After all, she and Olesya had their understanding--and that had been short and fairly painless for the both of them. She turned back to the board and tapped a place. That. That was something she wanted to check out and confirm for herself. Her hand dropped and she turned, fully, to face them both. Her eyes softened in understanding despite being overshadowed by her bangs. She would ask, but give him an out if he wished to seize it. "Have you heard of anything, before you leave if you intend to..? Any rumours I can check to confirm?"

Outside the War Room, a quiet thump could be heard, and the next moment, the door would open, as Kazuya walked in, dressed in his usual clothing, armor and all. Making out three heat signatures, he would halt dead in his tracks just past the doorway and a little into the room.
"Did I... walk in at a bad time? The messenger you sent wasn't very detailed in his message Olesya..."

[OOC: Oh what the hell! XD]
So Eury got a message to a war council? Say whaaaaaat?
The brunette certainly starred for some time quizzically at the message. Hell even wondering how the hell the messenger even found her. She didn't even know where the damn room was. She stayed away from all that since she had been back. Not that she didn't want to help but she hadn't been asked for one and two she had so much to deal with already. But seeing who it was from how could she deny the request. She let the errand boy lead her the way back considering. With her attire she kept it simple with a black tank, dark blue jeans and black sneakers. Her hair pushed back in a high ponytail with the lightest of curls cascading down.
Reaching the room she thanked the errand boy, but something stopped her from entering at first. A part of her gift kicking in suddenly as a wave of possible tension or awkwardness hit her. Those on the other side of the door certainly something was amidst. She could feel it. She fought with herself about entering or not considering. But how long could she really stay outside the door, she was invited and well curiosity grabbed this cats whiskers hard.
~Whelp..Here goes nothing~
Entering the room Eury's eyes immediately caught two familiar faces, Oleysa and David. But who was the little one with the lovely locs? Surely she would find sure enough. Oh wait another looked familiar, the blind guy. But the air in that room was in some need of some cleansing. Eury's eyes shifted between the four before smiling at Oleysa and speaking humorously towards her. Something was needed quickly.
"You miss lady..How the hell did you find me huh? Were you stalking me? If you were and I didn't notice you were pretty damn good.. I'm going to have to watch myself around you.. Sleep with both eyes open cause one won't be enough missy ninja."

David ran a hand through his hair.
"I-"
The door opened, and within moments, two more had entered. He looked back at Les and Kiyr before clearing his throat and turning to Kaz.
"Nah, your all good man. Im on my way out now, actually."
And he would start out, unless stopped.
