"It is your choice. Since you said Squad Leader I'll let you know what that entails. You will be put in charge of four soldiers, giving you a team of five including yourself. All our squads are Augmented, so you will have to go through Augmentation and gain a battle form. There are also nine weeks of training before and following Augmentation. Though aside from the rebels here in California, you probably wont see combat in our lifetime."
The guy would laugh a bit.
"There as I said is a one year minimum contract, but you do get a ten thousand dollar sign on bonus."

- Takehiro would grin and nod in acknowledgement, though he would disagree internally. With the amount of battle he'd seen leading up to this, believing that he'd see less of it was hard to swallow. The money wasn't of much import in his eyes. He'd probably just use it to help Mekiel or Valo out.
"Of course. When would I begin?"

"Well when we write up the paperwork we'll start whenever your ready, but your report date will be in the next week, so you don't have forever."
The guy would pull up the contract, and hand the electronic signature pen and pad to Amakusa.
"Sign once, then from there just put your thumb on the pad."
And with that they would go through the contract, nothing out of the ordinary, the regular watching their ass, and making sure Amakusa is covered. Treason and the like, no accidental, misunderstandings, or unlawful activity being forced on Amakusa.

"Oh, I don't plan on waiting."
- If he saw nothing out of the ordinary, Takehiro would go right ahead and sign. He did want to get this done as quickly as possible, so there was no reason to stall or ask unnecessary questions unless he felt he was getting involved in something devious.

After signing and everything went through.
"Well, If you have things to pack up we'll have someone give you a ride to your home of residence. If not we can transport you to the main training facility. As of now your rank is Soldier Fifth Class. When you graduate training and get your squad you should be a Third Class."

"I don't need anything else. I'm ready."
- Besides, it wasn't like he really had anything left anymore. It was all left to Orion. If they would head out now, then Takehiro would not protest.

The guy would call downstairs, and Amakusa would be told his ride will be outside. once down there a bus would be waiting with a line of a couple other volunteers. They seemed either bored, nervous, or anxious to join. The bus would head to the airport, and the volunteers would get on a special plane, flying them directly to a hovering facility right at thirty thousand feet. After landing inside the facility they would be shown off the plane. And stood in line. "All right. Time for some fun. You will be issued five uniforms. If any damage comes to these uniforms turn them in for a fresh one. You are now in In-processing Fifth Class's. It's time to start your first nine weeks of training." And thats how it would go. The first week was mostly getting used to everything. Each training group of Fifth Classes was broke into four companies of four platoons, of four-four man squads. Amakusa would be in Third Company First Platoon Third Squad. He'd be Squad Leader for Training Reasons. The other three in his Squad where there to be a mix of things. Erik was training to be R&D. Steven was there to be a Pilot, his uniform was different, but when it came to training he was in his Battle Suit. Jane was there to be a Weapons Tester, but she was rather ruthless. Each trainee was assigned five uniforms as stated before. (The image previously the far left.) Nothing of interest really happens Week 1 as your getting used to things. Week Two the Platoons are put into competitions, basically moving the squads over rough terrain, up towers, jumping from ledges into water, holding breath, swimming. Week Three was training in an objective course. Each Squad had to complete the course in time, the first few runs was just to see the kind of objectives to make. Capture a flag, save a priority target, get over a wall. Each one requiring team work to overcome. Week Four was the test. Each Squad would be graded on this objective's course by speed, efficiency and team work. Week Five would finally be combat training, your basic hand to hand stuff starting. Pugil stick matches, padded sword fights, MMA bouts. Nothing serious or bloody, but enough people got used to fighting even if they hadn't even seen a fight before. Week Six was a copy of Week four, see how all the physical combat and getting to know the real capabilities of your squads would change your time's. A boost in confidence for most. Week Seven was squad based combat. Tournament style four on four. Week eight was Platoon based combat. sixteen on sixteen style. Week nine was now Company on Company combat. To pick the shining best example Company. Just so happens thanks to two Platoons in Third Company, including Amakusa's Platoon, Third Company came out on top. Finally Augmentation day. Each Squad would be brought to the research off limits area of the Hovering Fort. In hundreds of tubes were people flouting in some sort of liquid with a breathing mask, and tubes and cords on them. Our would walk to Training Soldier First Class to explain. "Alright. This is what some of you have been waiting for. Augmentation Day. Today you will chose an augment to be specialized in. And augment to secondary, and a basic ability Augmentation. And to show you what happens. Boost!" With that activation command the Soldier would change physically, into This. "This level of change is not what you will experience, but you will experience some of it. This armor possibly, or spikes, nails, wings, maybe even some weapons. So Split off and each squad will speak with a scientist to go over the planned Augmentations for you to chose from." (React how you see fit, no need to go over every week, this last bit of Augmentation Day is where your input is actually required.)

[OoC: If you don't need the weekly stuff I'll go ahead and put a big ol' "AUGMENTATION TIME" in the middle so you can skip it.] - Takehiro would spend the first week of training getting to know his team members, what they planned on being, their reasons for being their, etc. He would hope to connect with them on a personal level to build a trust among the group. He would hold trust and fitness exercises with them in private to make sure they were all in good shape and on even ground with each other. No one could hold anyone else back. - Weeks two and three would be spent pushing the team through the terrain exercises and obstacle courses as planned, and they would constantly drilled for efficiency. This was to prepare them for the coming tests. The same was done for week five in preparation for week six. This lead to weeks seven, eight and nine allowing his squad to showcase brilliant skill that (along with the efforts of the others, of course) would help their company become top dog. AUGMENTATION TIME - The augmentations were not exactly something Takehiro had expected. He was familiar with QI, and this seemed to be that, just... scientifically inserted? He led his squad to a scientist nearby to inquire about the process and abilities. "So, these augmentations, what are our options?"

The scientist would bow at them.
"Well after being Augmented first let me tell you, you don't have to do them all at once, in fact, we recommend doing one at a time, limits the risk. Second after augmentation you will be promoted to Fourth Class. As for your Options.
We have the exo-skeletol Armor. As you saw it can take many shapes, and colors. It helps your strength and protects you from damage.
A muscle enhancer, makes you more durable and stronger, but for the first level of augmentation will make you slower.
We can also give some spikes, horns, or blades to be used in combat, very dangerous, they make you faster and stronger."
She'd go down the list.
(Which will be PM'd to you.)

- After a moment of thought, the Giant would go with what seemed like it'd be the most useful for multiple occasions.
"Hmm... Alright, I'll go with the Elemental Weaponry. Lightning, if we're going with specifications."

The scientist would nod.
"What weapon are you looking for? Lots of the streamline augments are wrist extenders that act like whip.s Others use hand projecting orbs that allow them to create energy weapons of a specific element."

The scientist would nod.
Amakusa would be Augmented for four days inside the test tube full of amniotic fluid and he would be programmed with the same stuff every augment is programmed with including a Code word, phrase, or thought of will that will activate the augmentations.
The pilot got some augmentations to his reaction time.
The R&D got some augmentations to his strength
The Weapons Tester made herself very flexible and agile.

- The word he would go with was simply "shock." It made the most sense.
[OoC: Sorry if I should be saying more. Not quite sure if I'm out of the tube.]

After programming and building Amakusa would be let out of the tube. The next nine weeks would be grueling augmentation training. Quick constant combative use. Every day was sparring and with Augmentations only. Then Training Graduation. Amakusa would Graduate, get a new Uniform with his next Rank up, and he would be given his post in California. He would be flown like before this time however lower ranking soldiers would be saluting him. Once at his post, he would have his choice of freshie 4th Classes to chose from. (You can make up any three or four, or even one or two to start with with a single augmentation as well PNPC's for your squad.)
