OOC: Stevie posts first. Emily had left a note for Stevie, being she couldn't find the girl, to meet her at "Ray's Dojo" in the city after school. This new ruler of the SHCP and the Captain of the Pillars had yet to really meet and talk. Their small conversation wasn't enough for Em, who needed a bar to be set between them. To understand their own dynamic. Emily didn't want enemies, but she got the feeling the teachers had plans for them they didn't want. Emily did not want a repeat of the events in the video...so it was best to see if she had an ally or an enemy in the police force. She stood in the center of the mat, the place closed but the door open. The lights were out, the natural light from the windows shining in on the girl. She wore a purple T-shirt, her sweater tied around her waist, and shorts. She was throwing punches and kicks lazily, just keeping on her game as she waited. EDIT 2/23/2016: This is what she looks like here for those curious.

I looked at the note again. First Violet, now Emily? What the hell? Now I'd probably have to deal with that.... Librarian too. Geez. I didn't even know where Ray's Dojo was. I payed the cabbie, he said he wouldn't tell me until i gave him money. He smiled as he took it and pointed up the street. Straight two streets and then left three. Asshole. I snatched the money back and shot out my hand for his throat. I didn't do much, just a tap on his Addams Apple. It'd hurt, but that's all. He sat back in his seat with a huff. I nodded and started walking. Asshole.
I looked up at the sign. Yup. This was the right place. I sighed as i walked up the stairs. I poked my head in and looked around. Nice place. I could like it here. Looking around and spotted Emily immediately, seeing as she was the only one there. She was throwing punches at... nothing. Whatever, i did that sometimes, though i normally preferred to have something or someone i was aiming at... I'd clear my throat and walk in.
"Howdy. I got yur Note. Whats up?" Strong Accent, cowgirl boots and hat, long bootlegged jeans, a grey undershirt with a red and green plaid shirt... I sure was country. I smiled and offered a hand. I know we both knew of each other, but meeting someone is important. "Hi, I'm Stevie-Rae Wilson. Pleasure ta meet ya!"

"Emily."
She stopped, shaking her hand after walking over to the the girl. This was an odd woman, who took fighting seriously (or so it seemed). Emily wasn't about to pass up on the opportunity of putting a person who said things like "You shouldn't have challenged me if you couldn't win" to the test. She turned and gestured for Stevie-ray to follow.
"You became SHCP Captain, and I don't blame you. Take a position of authority, you're granted privileges and people tend to give you more respect. But you've stepped into something you aren't prepared for."
She got back in the ring, rolling her right shoulder.
"Come on in here. You and me are gonna fight."

Richard was green in the face again. He'd taken a motion sickness pill, so his head was a little blurry---presumably, this of course meant that he was riding passenger again, even if shotgun. The red Volkswagen roared to life across the streets of Long Beach as Simon gunned it... maybe skipping a few red lights in his vigor to try.
"YA, I'S TOTALLY GOING TO MAKE IT UP TO YOU, ESE, TODAY, SIMON SHOWS YOU AN AFTERNOON ON THE TOWN!"
As they swerved into another green light turn signal, Richard wondered somewhere in the recesses of his mind that still worked how Simon actually acquired his license.
After two days of glaring and rather spiteful wording thrown at him, Simon's "good nature" "compelled him to apologize," in the Latino's words. If it wasn't for the fact that Richard genuinely wanted to see more of his new hometown, he would have never agreed. As it stood, Simon was the only one open and jovial enough to sometimes outright ignore Richard's distancing aloofness, taking to the British kid quickly during lunch.
"SO WHERE YOU WANNA GO? CAFE WIT' THE LADIES? ARCADE (I HEAR THAT MAMACITA JUNIOR LISA IS HANGING OUT THERE)? THE---"
Richard's eyes wandered through the blur of the streets, his eyes catching onto one thing.
"Ray's Dojo."
Ray? Rae? Stevie?
Ever since his meeting with the Student Captain and the S.H.C.P. Captain (both of which were uniquely interesting and diverse experiences in his mind), he had begun to see the importance or at least the necessity of "violence" that PHS #259 seemed to require to function. While the context may have been a bit off, he wondered how much students actually went to the Dojo... and perhaps more importantly, how many would use it against people like people from PHS #260.
Simon's erratic driving became worse.
"UH, UH, YOU SURE?"
Richard scrutinized Simon with a raised brow and a frown as while could feel his lunch coming up to say hello to his mouth.
"Y-Yes."
The Volkswagen screeched to a stop and Richard was slammed into the side of the car with the momentum.
"Oh, geeze, uh, sorry, man! But uh, I also just remembered that I gotta pick up my little sister. You know your way back?"
While the young Englishman felt the color returning to his face (and his lunch going back down home), he nodded grimacing. Even through the blur of his mind, he realized that Simon really, really didn't want to be at this Dojo. Call it curiosity, but this only fueled Richard's intent to at least go visit it.
He had confidence in his running abilities.
The two parted ways and the red car zoomed off in a hurry, leaving the British transfer in his new set of thinner black pants and just a white colored short-sleeve button-up. He looked more casual than he usually did, but it was in an effort to adapt to the California heat. He hefted up his leather satchel and went on inside.
There weren't any lights on, which figured since it was still fresh in the afternoon, after school. The doors were open, so Richard didn't really seem to notice the fact that the sign was fixed as "Closed."
And that's when he saw them.
Emily and Stevie-Rae.
'What the sod.'
The place was empty aside from those two and there was a thick layer of tension in the air. It was, after all, the Student Captain and the S.H.C.P. Captain. And like that, the Emily invited Stevie-Rae into the ring.
All of the air felt electric and not friendly.
Richard felt his motion sickness dissipate instantly as he crept inside... taking a seat in one of the chairs that had a good view of the ring. He wouldn't say hello to either of them---he didn't want to disrupt whatever was going on as it wasn't his place---but that wouldn't stop him from viewing this curiosity. He was still eager to learn more about his environment and what better way than watching the two heads of the entire Student Body going at... whatever they were going at.
And if they were going to fight?
It would be a learning experience. He honestly couldn't imagine rooting for either of them---he didn't like one over the other. They were both pleasant and passionate in their views for the school.
The leather satchel would open up politely and would be accompanied with a popping sound from a thermos as the aroma of black tea would permeate into the air of the gym. A nice little sandwich was set aside atop the satchel, as the British kid silently settled into his viewing for this spectacle.
...
He'd ignore the dust for now.

I stared at her as she climbed into the ring.
"Just what am i not prepared for? You? Honey, you don't know me."
I debated on if i wanted to fight her or not. If i was going to set a new example for who i was, i wouldn't fight for no apparent reason.

Emily shook her head, giving a small smile. Pride was a difficult thing to get past, for most people. Emily was proud- to the extent that she took a title nobody else wanted and kept the school surprisingly clean. But she never went into a fight assuming victory. It was always a test, to determine her strengths and weaknesses and how she could better develop them.
"Okay."
That was her only response to the statement that Emily didn't know her. The SC didn't feel a need to boast or bristle. For her, they were both in positions of power. Positions that were supposedly equal in scope and scale. Emily removed her gloves, revealing the taped up hands and giving Stevie-Ray the chance to dress down.
"I was talking about your position. You're taking on a role I feel will be used in a....negative way. To further the goals of someone outside the school. But, we can talk more about that later."
If Stevie-Ray had dressed down or just waited, Emily would go on the offensive. Leaping forward, she would land low and in a spin, jutting out her right leg for a sweep with the intent of taking SR off her feet.

I sighed and pulled my flannel shirt off revealing a white muscle shirt. I took a step back and let out a deep breath. Here we go.
"Alright, fine."
AS her foot came, i saw it but couldn't really move out of the way. JEZEM CROW!!! She was fast! I found myself being tripped and trying to quickly scramble back to my feet. I stepped back again and let another breath out. I needed to do... SOMETHING. I wasn't sure what to do. She was faster than I was.
I put another foot behind me, lowered my head a bit and charged her. If i was successful, i'd knock her to the ground. Staning straight, i'd take a step back and raise my fists.

After tripping her up causing her to stumble backward, Stevie-Ray wouldn't have to wait at all. As she scrambled back to her feet, Emily jutted out an elbow and kicked off, her right side facing SR so that her elbow could slam either into her head or into her gut. Either way worked for the Captain, since she intended to keep this battle close quarters.
If it worked, her right arm would come down and snap up into an uppercut, the idea being to bloody the SHCP and make her understand- this was a real fight, not just a test.

As she came at me again, her foot up, i'd bring my foot up. i wouldn't get in a good hit, she was too fast for that. I would, however, be able to make an attempt at stooping her, if not knock her off to the side.
IF my attack worked, and that was a big IF, I would follow through with a punch to the side of her head. IF she was knocked to the side, also a big IF, I would punch the back of her head.
(If at all possible)

It wasn't her foot she struck with- it was her elbow. However, the foot that Stevie-Ray brought up would hit her elbow and block it, stopping both of them in their tracks. So Emily would leap forward, reaching out with both hands to try and get SR in a clinch. At the same time, she'd throw up her left knee to try and hit her in the gut to dole out some punishment there.
Judging by the stinging in her elbow, Em could assume on thing- the girl was, for all her talk...quite strong.

Emily was stopped, but it seemed their battle was far from over. As she came at me, leaping over my leg, her hands came around my neck. Shit. She was a grappler. Well, bet to bake the best of this. Her knee came up and hit me in the gut. Ow. It wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be but it did mean she was strong.
Before she could dole out more punishments, I began punching at either of her kidneys. Hard left. Hard right. Hard right. Hard left. As many as I could get in.

Emily had the clinch- perfect. She whipped up a knee for SR's gut, intent to blast the wind from her. A punch slammed into her kidneys- earning a grunt of both admiration for the girls strength and striking pain....okay, time to put that clinch to use. Jumping straight backward, Emily would attempt to use the clinch to suddenly jerk SR forward, the School Captain keeping her hands not just locked behind the SHCP's, but also keeping them squeezing to prevent the girl from using that jumping momentum to charge into a tackle.
Assuming it caused SR to stumble forward it would destabilize her center of mass, removing any force from future punches. Em would use that stumbling force to throw up another knee before releasing her grip with her right hand and, while holding Stevie-Ray's head in place with her left, would throw a punishing right uppercut for her chin.
And like a piston, would repeat the punches until either SR was out cold or gave up.

I gave a half smile at the grunt. Maybe she would take that into consideration. I stumbles forward and put my hands out to catch myself. Upon feeling a knee coming up hard, I would slam it back down with my hands. While my hands were still down, i'd grab her shirt and jeans with either hand.
A fist came at my face and hit hard. Once. Twice. That's it, this bitch is going down.
I got up to a standing position, lifted her over my head and came down to a knee slamming her back over it. I was tired of this hierarchy bullshit. I was not about to be tossed around and hit by someone who wanted to control me. I'd let go of her shirt and shove her off my knee onto the floor. I stood and took three steps back.
"I didn't want to fight. Remember that."

Emily felt her grip and Em's eyes went wide. She grit her teeth- but rather than allow herself to be lifted, she threw out her back legs into a lifting defense, spreading them wide (similar to here, guy on the right, just a little more upright with it). Both hands would come down and attempt to grip Stevie-Ray under the armpits. Using that squared stance Emily would attempt to run Stevie-Ray into the corner of the ring. Then, assuming that worked, would push off into a flying knee, aiming for SR's face. Hopefully, the girls own grip would be used against her, giving Em space to attack there. If it worked the Captain would back off, putting her hands on her knees and watching Stevie-Ray to see if the girl was awake and still wanted to fight. For Emily, it was about pecking order- both Em and Stevie-Ray had ego's and needed to know who was who. But it wasn't something personal for the School Captain. In fact, she intended to treat them both to a meal after. For Emily, fighting was methodic. Business. You could destroy a friend and still like each other afterward. She was reminded of the image of Asiv fighting the other guy....and both of them laughing. Her point wasn't to humiliate Stevie-Ray. Or to humiliate herself. It was just business.

She threw out her legs, not allowing me to lift her into the air. Well, shit. As she lowered herself and attempted to drive me backward, I'd drop my back to the mat, while bringing my leg upward. Once on the ground, still using the momentum from the fall, I would attempt to kick her off me and over my head.
Spinning and jetting my legs beneath me and keeping both hands on the ground, I'd stay crouched, with one foot slightly behind the other, and wait for her next move.
