John was out on the field first? It was more like he had the inside knowledge having had lunch with his foster dad when someone mentioned a scorpion sighting. John jumped at the chance as Asiv himself demanded the squads mobalize.
John was at the staging area once again, waiting for people to show up.

Bailey joined the area where the squads were meeting up, the sole representative of Squad One. She wasn't sure what to expect this time, but she was as ready as she was going to be, whether it was support or to help others press the attack. Hopefully, it would go better than last time.

Eric was present, impeccably dressed as always, hip hanging at his side and the crystal he'd obtained from the Prota soldier in his hand. It was possibly a second chance to utilize the weapon that he'd obtained. Especially now that he had an inkling at it's purpose.

After everything else going on, Rozalin was on site when everyone was called in to form up. Idly curious, she stood at the ready, glancing around to see who all was going to be joining them on this escapade. She'd heard about the previous attack through word of mouth; now it was time for her to see it for herself.

Taking flipped his phone over, looked at it, and kicked off his bed. He had heard of such things but never really saw them. Dressing quickly, he would fly out of his room and race to the field.

John would give Rhona and those who showed up a confident wave and greeting.
No commander had time to show up however as scorpion tails jutting out of the ground one for each person! Dmg: 35
John would get struck! Throwing to the ground, he hadn't expected it at all.

Allen had arrived late, and as such hadn’t yet been attacked. Instead, he’d slam his hands together and attempt to throw a stone shield up in front of each other person to prevent them from taking damage!

Takumi was too slow to jump out of the way. The tail struck just after the red haired kid was struck. “T’sko... You’ll pay for that.” Takumi would reach down and attempt to yank the tail upward.

Eric drew his sword as he strode forward having sensed them under the ground. A swipe of his sword at the one that was attacking him as his armor absorbed the attack meant for him. He'd focus his intent into the crystal, unconcerned with these small ones when he had bigger game in mind. He wanted to find the King, and this crystal would show him where...
OOC: Qi uses 2/34
Level 2: Stone Skin - Eric manipulates a thin layer of stone over his body to act as armor. 1/2 energy stat added to his defense.
Level 3: Tremorsense - Eric's able to read the vibrations in the ground and get a clear picture of his surroundings in a twenty-foot radius with just the vibrations

Rhona also became stung qnd she grit her teeth being thrown from her stance before it came time but from that point she became a glow

Bailey blinked in surprise as the tails came up from the ground, grabbing her sticks and using it to block the attack, swiping it aside and slamming one of her sticks into the stem of the tail that attacked her!
