She had seen enough. Or at least, Ali thought that she had. Two rounds into the exams, and there were shows of might and politicking alike, backstabbing and disguises, rumors and the promise of warfare. Along with it, a sense of dissatisfaction and restlessness that continued to coil around her, a sense of more to come. Perhaps that had in part been due to Michael's warning of things to come. Things she was supposed to take note of here.
The redhead had made her way to the mountain of God Territory, uncertain what she would say or do when she arrived at her destination. But the offer had been made, and it felt prudent to take a chance and see about it now while there was time. Her fate was still in her hands with no promised or guaranteed path laid out before her. She wasn't sure what to expect, or even how to reach out to her biological father, or where to start finding her mother if she chose.
Unless stopped, she would start her journey to the church!

She would not be stopped! In fact if she asked for directions, as soon as she said the church they would lose interest.
"Oh, uh... I think it's over there somewhere."
People just didn't care about her destination at all, but eventually she would find it. An old church building, the outside old paint and chipping bricks, broken stained glass and dirt surrounding it. There are patches of dead grass.

It was a bit alarming at first, the way interest faded the moment the church was mentioned. At first, Ali raised a brow at the change, but she found herself grateful for it, even if it was a little aggravating that the directions suddenly became vague. As though someone without a connection to a different pantheon would be more interesting.
Perhaps that would work in her favor, perhaps against her. Her intentions were beyond just 260, but it was good to know what she had to work with, first. If that meant humility, then so be it.
She stopped at the sight of the building, however, looking it over from the outside with a perplexed expression that bordered on disappointment. This was the place her parents met. Perhaps if she had been younger, or abused and dreaming more of what could have been, it would be disappointing. Now it was just sad. Still, she couldn't deny the small hint of dismay at the sight of broken windows and an unkempt building. She coudln't help but wonder the reason it was left in such a state.
Taking a deep breath, she would enter the church, looking around to see if it was worn down inside as well as out, or if anyone was there.

Peeking her head inside shows that the pews are well maintained, the floor is swept futily against the dust the rolls in from the broken windows as evidence by the streaks on the wood and cement floor we're brooms seem to just brush dirt and sand around, or to the walls. There is a stage with a podium and a choir stand should there ever be one. Inside the church is a Horned Woman standing in silent prayer with Michael near by seemingly cleaning his Angelic Sword. They haven't noticed Ali yet.

Lucifer would be sitting away from the others with a well worn and read book in his hand. One that had the appearance of both age and use. Though his eyes would shift upward at the sound of the door opening. Closing his book with a thud he would stand up gracefully, placing a warm and inviting smile upon his face. "Good morning. Have you come seeking our blessing?"

There was a sense of relief that there was a better stand against the wear of time and use within the walls of the church as Ali stepped inside, letting the door fall shut silently behind her. Of the three, there was one figure who was familiar, the other woman a bit of a surprise for a half second as faint memories of old tales flickered through her mind. Not ones she believed personally so much as a nod to the culture of the world before her time.
In other words, the horns were a surprise.
"Good morning." She nodded in greeting, not sure quite how to properly address the man who spoke to her before opting for a small half bow instead much as she would have Blake before their spar. Wondering who he was with the grand display of wings and grace., she doubted what she came for was what they considered their blessing. She aired on the side of caution and formality.
"I don't think so, but thank you. I'm here to speak with Michael, if I may."

Michael would break off conversation by holding up a hand looking to Allison.
"You decided to come, how exciting. Thank you for visiting."
Michael would make his way over with a goofy smile on his face.

With the conversation diverted, Ali looked from one angel to another, her focus returning to Michael as he spoke and approached. The look on his face threw her for a moment, an easy going grin compared to the formality of their first meeting.
"Of course." She nodded, finding herself suprised by his grin but also alright with it. She had come here out of her own desires and curiosity after all. No one had twisted her arm to come here, and if she was honest with herself, Ali had to admit with asn't just the church that brought her here.
"Thank you for telling me about this place. I wanted to see what it was like here with my own eyes." Her gaze went to the other two if they hadn't left the room. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything?"

"A pity."
He said with a dry tone as he settled back into his seat, picking up his book once more.
"I will be here when you are ready Child."

"How about you stop sulking and say hello to your Niece?"
Michael adds as it looked like Lucifer was going into his pity party mood. He'd turn back to Ali, his face back to the normal somewhat stern, somewhat caring face as usual.
"Not at all. Simply going over todays goals."

Ali looked over the still nameless angel who had first greeted her with a measured expression. She wasn’t sure which uncle it was, but she’d figured the relation was there. She wasn’t sure how to address him either; nothing like getting a long lost relative sudden springing up.
“Hello, Uncle...?” She trailed off to let him finish, letting introductions happen before business, though both angels would be able to note the interest in her expression as Michael advised what they were doing.

"Lucifer."
He'd say as he snapped his book shut. His eyes shifting from her to his brother with a frown.
"Hardly sulking dear brother. I simply did not wish to intrude when she clearly came to see you."
He'd slowly stand up and take stock in her.
"So this is the little girl you left all grown up? She smells of children's magic."

Michael would put his left hand on his hip and his right would be rubbing the back of his neck with a weak laugh covering the nervousness of that particular moment.
"Yes well, she did claim her halo... So there is hope."
Michael would lean over to Ali covering his mouth so Lucifer couldn't hear or read his lips.
"He's just grumpy, he is actually a decent guy. We don't really agree a lot so there is some animosity based on some past choices."

The pleasantries ended as quickly as they began, and Ali's sense of awkward attempts at peace with it. Her eyes sparked in anger, narrowing as the man gave his name and insulted in practically the same breath. Not just her, but something so much a part of her and her life that it was literally set aside like refuse. She bristled, chin raising and a retort on her lips, the comment aimed at Michael's lack of parenting discarded for the real issue.
"Children's magic?" She would have gone further if not for Michael's insight, both on her halo and the fact that apparently her uncle was actually a decent person, just...surly.
"Oh really," she murmured, eying Michael for several seconds before she took a deep breath and released it. She didn't believe a word of it, herself.
Well, if he was going to let her speak with her father as intended, she wouldn't turn the offer away, her body shifting towards Michael to force herself to keep some sort of focus. Her palm itched with the need to slap the other man, but family or not, Allison knew better than to lash out at a god.
"You mentioned your duties here?"

Michael would make another nervous chuckle.
"Yes our duties are simple due to our numbers. Help the sick, feed the hungry, avenge the weak, spread the word."
