It seemed to show up out of nowhere on the academy grounds, one moment an empty patch outside the building, the next suddenly...  A puny pancake provider pops up on premises, providing promises of primitive provisions! |

Well, color Cillian intrigued! He was pretty sure that stand hadn't been there before, but he was interested in seeing what was up, and what these paned cakes were.

Well this was new. Ali couldn't recall a vendor ever setting up shop on the lawn of the academy. She wasn't even sure they could, but she was intrigued enough to take a look at what the fuss was about as more people joined.
"Pancakes," she corrected as she stepped up beside Donovan. What were pancakes?

"Hello new friends and customers!" This good merchant is absolutely jazzed to meet all these new people, waving franctically. "You all never even heard of pancakes? A disaster! A crime!" They are absolutely torn by the lack of recognition for their favourite tasty treat. Holding their heart in pain, they are. "But this is a wrong that I can correct!"  "A pancake is a cake cooked on a pan! It's a flat, disc of deliciousness that you put butter and syrup on, maybe some fruits, and it's both light and filling and tasty and sweet and just the best!!! And you get to eat it every day for breakfast because that's when you start thinking about how good they're gonna be!" They talk a mile a minute about about their favourite treat, putting all the love their tiny body has into talking about those tasty treats. |

"It's the best food! A tasty treat that's good to eat! Soft and sweet, yummy in the tummy! It's flour! It's eggs! It's so much more!! Bread? Never heard of her! Toast? Get that outta here! But pancakes? You can have it with strawberries, blueberries, any berry you like! You name it! And with them cooked right in the pancake itself too!! Drizzled in maple or fruit syrups, slowly soaking in so every bite feels like getting hugged by the softest and warmest person around!!!"
Player 1 is painting a tapestry, a hungry hungry tapestry.
"And I know, you hear this, and you think "It can't be that amazing, but shhhh... You are all my friends and I would not steer my friends wrong on something as good as pancakes! But I can't just give these good pancakes away for free, nonono." No no no. "But I can make you all a deal!!"
They say all these words so fast, somehow never managing to trip up on them despite not being practiced at all!

Donovan takes the beetle AMD looks at it. It looks at him. He looks at it. It looks at him... Donovan nods grunting in approval as he places the beetle on his shoulder.
"I thank you for the gift. I feel that he has the spirit of a mighty warrior!"
He would pause for a moment...
"Uhm... but I do not have wood to offer unfortunately. But..."
Donovan spots a public bench.
"I'll be right back!"
He would say as he goes to demolish the bench for its wood pieces!
