Are You Different Like Me? (Sessha)

[Thorn Wyatt]

Thorn stands in one of the Academy's hallways, staring at one of the windows leading to a classroom.

There's a class going on inside, but they haven't seemed to notice their silent observer yet.

[Sessha]

Sessha's head would slowly creep up beneath the window, having skittered along to it quietly since the boy was silently observing.

She looks inside as well

It's a class.

"You are wanting the inside being?" she'd whisper, turning back to look at Thorn.

[Thorn Wyatt]

Thorn's eyes travel to see the strange girl, and his brow furrows when she speaks.

"Which being inside are you asking about?"

[Sessha]

She tilts her head then furrows her brow.

"No, no. You. The being. In there!" she'd point to the window.

[Thorn Wyatt]

Ohhhhh.

He shakes his head.

"I'm unfamiliar with this method of teaching. We don't have organized rooms like this at home."

They usually trained outside.

[Sessha]

"Oh. So you doing a watch?"

[Thorn Wyatt]

"I am watching."

He nods. Thorn could figure that one out, at least.

"Why do you talk like that?"

[Sessha]

"Mana care- tye faica?" she blinks.

[Thorn Wyatt]

Thorn hesitates.

He's... never run into this situation before. He doesn't know what to do. Everyone has either spoken words he understood, or rephrased them afterwards.

These weren't ones he knew at all.

He just stands there, like a deer in headlights.

[Sessha]

Uh oh, did she offend him?

She stands up fully and walks over to him.

"Are you okay?"

[Thorn Wyatt]

"I don't understand you."

This is distressing, but also a common occurrence.

[Sessha]

"No? Why?"

[Thorn Wyatt]

"Your words aren't ones that I recognized."

He says, frowning.

"Though the ones you're speaking just now were."

[Sessha]

"But all words I say are the English ones. You still are lost!"

[Thorn Wyatt]

"All of them?"

Thorn tilts his head.

"What does mana caretye fake-a mean?"
