That question was quite the peculiar one. But it was one that made Leyva smile.

"Well, there is Research and Development. Where those who have more brains than brawn work on tech and gear for the agents in the field. This is also a place where those with high knowledge in the field of Qi can help create and discover new ways to use and manipulate energy. Definitely not something to be looked down upon. Next, you have Operational Support. These will be the once in the Command HUB that keep contact with the many factions on the field to keep a steady supply of information between everyone. This way we can have a more coordinated strike on whatever targets we may be dealing with. This is an important role and puts the lives of many in your hands. One misstep, one piece of forgotten, or misinterpreted information could mean the death of an entire squadron on the battlefield... And then there is my area of expertise, Scouting. In this field it is one's primary objective discover every ounce of information about your target and getting out without ever being seen, or if seen, then you quickly and efficiently dispatch of who or whatever has detected you. There may be other paths out there for you to find. But there are many paths you can take, and I have neither the time nor interest to discuss the many different paths you can end up on in the future. If you are that concerned with where you are going to end up, then you are short sighted. Focus on learning and growing, and then worry about where you will be when the time comes to choose."

Leyva would let the information sink in before speaking again.

"Any further questions, or are we ready for the tour?"

Leyva's words rang true, there seemed to be many paths available and there was time to grow into any of them. He needed to focus on learning skills for surviving in this environment.

"This is the Study Hall and Library . Here is were you will go to work on your NON-Combat materials. Such as Qi research, or history. The library is full of books of various knowledges from pre and post war writers. While there may be works of fiction. I highly recommend you stick to books that will learn the most from. Any questions?"

Micah is scanning the room and the people, not saying a word.

"Ni am ehtelë." she'd shake her head, finding it important to answer verbally each time.

Did she just have a stroke? Wait... is it a she? Do the snake people have a gender?

Mal would take more notes, he had to remember to look up 'snake people' later, for now he was being introduced to his home until he was done at the academy. A quiet place to read books and a place to get books, it doesn't get any better than this.

"Excuse me sir, is any of the literature restricted, or is it open season? Also, Do either of these places have hours of operation, or can we have unfettered access?" Mal was gleaming. There couldn't be a bigger smile in the world.

"There are no restrictions, and there is 24/7 access."

    They really have this many books? Even pre-war? Finding one was a miracle back home. Is this normal?

The reclusive lad continues contemplating, while noting the information being shared at the front.

Sessha just has a quick look through the books from where she's standing! There was definitely something she wanted to read into if they had it.

A quick nod would tell Leyva that Mal had no additional questions on the library and study hall, not that Mal didn't have any questions, he had a million, but he didn't want to hold up the tour.

Leyva would lead the to the vehicle bay!

"This is the Deployment hall, and beside it the Vehicle bay. When you are assigned to go on missions this will be where you will go. The Deployment hall is where you will put down who you are and what you are doing, or where you are going. Then, depending on the importance of your mission you will be assigned a Vehicle. That is when you will make your way to the Vehicle bay and collect your Ride. Any questions?"

    Ahh, more magic machines. How can anyone rely on these things?

He eyes the technology suspiciously for a moment, before remembering himself and putting on a look of mild wonder.

    I'm supposed to know how these work, this is a common sight, yes?

Busy analyzing the structure of these... ...things, he remains speechless, not wanting to reveal his ignorance in the area.
