He stumbled back to his feet, moving his mask to the side to spit out a bit of water that had gotten into his mouth in the chaos. But he was not detoured. Round two! Putting the mask back on he was ready to dive back in!

He thought about it a moment and tried again, this time moving his arms to push him up instead of just to the side. What resulted was a really splashy and loud doggy paddle.
