So what's your deal (Stigma)

"I can try."

He'd try and mostly got it. Though he'd break out of the water a bit. But it was much smoother, he'd start nervously laughing as he slowly started to swim.

"I'm doing it!"

[Stigma Wyatt]

Stigma clasps her hands together excitedly!

"That's good! You're catching on very quickly!"

[Pride]

"Well if you aren't quick you are dead. Right?"

At least from his experience.

[Stigma Wyatt]

"That is very true. If you wound up any deeper, you may be in some trouble without the proper technique."

With his current skill, he might still tire himself out...

"Ah. Do you know how to float? In order to give yourself a rest?"

[Pride]

"Uh uh."

He'd say, moving to the shallower area so he could stand.

"But if you are tired we can just go sit down or something."

There were plenty of trees to chill around.

"Me?"

She didn't think she gave off any signs of fatigue, but, she didn't mind doing something else.

"We can sit, if you prefer." she'd nod.

[Pride]

"I'd like too. This much water is just... weird."

But he was trying to get used to is.

"So let's go sit down and talk or something."

He'd start walking toward the shore!

"As you say." she'd nod, making her way out of the water as well and twisting her ponytail to remove the excess water.

"Was...swimming fun..?" she'd ask, a bit nervous that it may have been a sub-par idea.

"Yeah! It was pretty cool. It feels weird to be moving without touching the ground though. You guys do it often where you're from?"

He'd ask, rather than twisting his hair he'd shake his head like a dog to send the water droplets flying.

Stigma lets the droplets get her in the face, her only reaction being some blinking.

Huh. That seemed to work pretty well...oh wait he asked a question.

"Yes. In desperation, people often try to escape through bodies of water. I need to be able to follow."

"Why are they desperate if you have water? That seems kind of backward."

[Stigma Wyatt]

"It's not the water they want. It's an escape." she shrugs.

"Th-that's generally only an issue with the workers."

Her polite way of saying slaves.

[Pride]

Pride just sighed and shook his head.

"That's the numbers for you."

Afraid of even a hard day's work. It was really sad.

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Oh. I remember you saying that before...What do you mean by 'the numbers'?"

[Pride]

"These lands. The territories. You all call yourselves by numbers. 259, 1, 64. It's weird, but everyone here seems to do it."
