So what's your deal (Stigma)

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Ah, that's true." she nods.

"I think most of them have actual names, but I was also taught most of their equivalent numbers."

She would tilt her head.

"Your territory...it doesn't have a number, then?"

[Pride]

"They call it 64. We call it Hope."

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Hope." she'd nod in understanding.

"My home is Gaia."

[Pride]

"What's Gaia mean?"

He'd never heard of it.

[Stigma Wyatt]

"It means Earth. It's all it was before my dad turned it into what it is today." she'd explain.

"Actually, before being properly named, it was just called 'dirt'."

[Pride]

"Oh, okay. That's a really nice name then. I like it."

He'd say plopping down on the ground, moving his mask off of his face to the side of his head.

"So are you still feeling shy?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

Stigma would sit across from him, pulling her legs up so she could sit in a ball.

"Less so..."

If her stuttering was any indication at least.

"You're a bit easier to talk to than I had judged you'd be from our first encounter..."

[Pride]

"Because of my face stuff right?"

He was used to it.

"Don't worry, I only bite if I like ya. Or if I'm trying to rip out your throat."

He said with a wicked grin, flashing his teeth.

[Stigma Wyatt]

She'd blush and look down, trying not to think too deeply on the bite comment.

"N-no. It wasn't the face stuff. That's fine...I've seen more unsightly things than that...."

The scars and deformities some slaves had could sometimes be alarming.

"I-I don't do well with conflict I'm supposed to deal with verbally...I could tell you had a strong character, so I wasn't sure I'd be able to talk to someone like that. But you're a lot more easy-going than you seemed."

[Pride]

"I'll take that as a compliment. Nothing wrong with having a strong character. And I try to just enjoy life. We all die eventually, when I go I want to go with no regrets. Ya know?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

"I didn't mean it as a flaw. If anything, the flaw is within myself."

Though she could definitely understand wanting to live the sort of life he wanted to.

"Living carefree sounds a bit impossible for someone like me. But I admire your ability to do so."

[Pride]

"Nah, it's just in your head. You can totally do it. You've been doing it here with me. Right?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

She laughs at that.

"Not at all. I'm more at ease, but I still worry about every step I've taken."

[Pride]

"What are you worried about?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

"How I'm perceived." she sighs, feeling embarrassed about it already.

"I've been told all manner of things from ignore it, or don't overthink it or why does it matter...but it's a feeling I can't get rid of."
