Rai slammed his hands on the table.

"NO! What don't you understand about YOU are the one being ridiculous! They are living people too, and they deserve a chance to live in this world like everyone else! We are doing everything we can to support them, but you want to know why we had to get a benefactor to buy that shitty apartment complex? Because litterally NO ONE on this whole stupid planet has a fucking heart. For all they care those people should die off and no longer be their problem. So we bought the shittiest place we could, because that was LITERALLY THE ONLY OPTION! And now some half pint with attitude problems has an issue with it because it's a MINOR inconvenience? No, it's time for you to grow the fuck up and learn that world is a bigger place and holds a lot more meaning that just some shit hole that you can whine and fuss about!"

As soon as his hands slammed the desk, her migraine tripled in intensity, and she felt herself start to hunch over slightly. She kept one hand pressed against her head, trying to fight the wave of nausea that nearly overwhelmed her.

"You don't... You don't understand. It's... bigger than that."

Her entire body felt weak, suddenly. She tried to take a step back, to collect her thoughts, to figure out exactly how to explain it to Rai, why this was such a big deal. She gave a shake of her head, trying to shake away the agony, but it only got worse. She took a deep breath, but all color drained from her face. A bright light flashed at her. Why was her brother emailing her so much? What was going on? What was so important.

She chose to try to recall the email, to bring it up so she could read it, but it was apparently too much for her. Suddenly, she collapsed. She fell first to her knees, and then her eyes rolled into the back of her head. She seemed to melt into an awkward position, and just lay there... unconscious.

Rai starred at the girl and blinked for a minute... Then sighed.

"Well. Fuck."

He would pull out his cellphone from his pocket and dial a number.

"I need medical to my office asap, I have a collapsed civilian in here."
