[Djoser Aneksi]

Djoser knew the dangers of coming out here. Djoser knew that walking home from a show after dark in this area would be dangerous at best. Being a Meta and a drag queen were bad enough individually, being both had gotten him in trouble plenty of times. Tonight was no exception. A group of 4 was following him, he knew this takedown well. An alleyway approached and they sped up. They grabbed him by the arm and pulled him into the alley way, pinned to a wall, knife out for intimidation. They were just about ready for extortion when they realized... they missed? 

Djoser was calmly standing in the mouth of the alleyway.  The criminals looked confused. "Do you need any help boys?" Another grab attempt, dodged fairly easily even when the man's hand seemed an inch away. "Tsk. How did you survive so long sucking this bad at being criminals?" Annoyed they all went at him. The one with a knife leading the charge when a hit from nowhere destroyed his nose and left him on his ass. While the others stared confused, another got the back of his knees slashed and the next also had his nose destroyed. The last began to run when they were tripped face first into the sidewalk. They just managed to catch themselves when the same phantom force stomped his head into the pavement one good time. 

To anyone watching from the outside it would just look like a bunch of thugs floundering around hitting anywhere but the tall, effeminate man walking down the sidewalk. Then that man would proceed to brutalize them as they looked on in horror at figures not even there. Djoser wasn't the strongest, but he was able to land crippling haymakers, devastating kicks to the face, and even some painful slashes with the groups own knife. Hits normally ineffective due to how easy they were to dodge., but loaded with power. The only tell that something was off was the brilliant, rich tanzanite glow coming from Djoser and the criminals eyes.

Having observed the confrontation below from a rusted, backstreet balcony, WR was somewhat in awe to witness such fluid feminine movements from the victor, having taken no blows while completely incapacitating three men who seemed to not even understand what they were attacking. Were they impressed? Not really, but it did provoke a feeling in them that made them want to approach the person as they turned out of the alleyway.

WR didn't really feel like provoking them, but there was no nonsuspicious methods of calling out to someone at this side of town, at this time of night, so after a moment of debating to themself, they would end it with a shrug, climbing to the roof of the apartment building. After a few moments, they would jump down a few feet away from Djoser, and after exiting their superhero pose, they would call out to him.

"Yo, nice party tricks."

Djoser would turn and jump back at the person jumping back and letting his eyes glow more. Small circular waves would form around it, drawing even more attention to the beautiful pair of eyes as the rest of the world seemed darker. He wouldn't dare underestimate this individual because of their height, they just jumped from a fucking building. Though he was disarmed by their new, casual pose and comment. he would blink and his eyes would be their normal greyish blue. The world would brighten up again. He would smile and chuckle.

"Sorry, I was worried for a moment! Yeah, they are, help keep fragile people like me safe." He'd say with a genuine smile, despite not being willing to reveal any of the secrets to his ability. "And you? What do I owe the pleasure of your company too?" Djoser's voice was rich and soft, almost as dreamlike and disarming as his gaze before.

Spoiler!: Shadow of Eyes: A strange magic ability that affects the senses of people. Denoted by glowing eyes. Zero ability creates harmless illusions.

WR would continue staring at him with an apathetic expression, mentally acknowledging yet paying no visible mind to his tricks. They would stand in silence until he was done, furthering their silence as he spoke. They would shove their hands into their bomber pockets as they patiently waited for him to finish.

Once the ice was broken with a smile, they would return his genuinity with their own, albeit with a bit less.

Now, was he asking about their occupation, or about their own 'party tricks'? They would smirk at the thought. The answer was much too obvious now that their ego had inflated. They would take a few steps back to ensure there was nothing in the blast radius, and then, they would be ingulfed in flames in a matter of second. The fire was red and lively, and after a delay it turned a somber blue, then a spiritual green. They would move around for a moment to make the afterimage visible, and then the flames would disperse, almost as quickly as they appeared.

"Somethin' like that," They'd finally say, covering the distance they had between them now. "Name's WR. Yours?"

Qi Name: Conflagration [Fire Themed]
Strengths: The looming threat of being burned to the touch provides a unique advantage to WR in a variety of situations. It makes them more difficult to touch, but it also provides smaller benefits like increased body temperature, warmth to nearby characters, or light.
Weaknesses: This Qi line is harder to use when facing cooler temperatures. Water, ice, and damp areas also make it significantly more difficult to use.
Zero Ability: WR's body is set ablaze into visible pure energy, appearing as red fire, which creates an afterimage that repeats all of their actions at a half second delay. The afterimage burns whatever it touches, dealing 100% of their ENG stat as damage to other players and characters. The fire changes colors based on their emotions. Additionally, they gain 50% immunity to all fire based effects.

Dj would just smile at the brilliant flames. Another meta!!! This was truly an awesome night. When they approached again and gave their name, Dj would giggle. It seemed cute, appropriate for the small firebrand in front of him.

"How impressive! Quite the beautiful ability!!!"

"Djoser, though please, call me Dj."

[WR Harthe]

Now that they were standing neck and neck, WR was... intimidated. This person was tall as fuck. They weren't trying to break their neck just to give him the time of day, so they would just smirk and shrug.

"WR. Pleasure."

[Djoser Aneksi]

"You already told me your name dear. Though I'm happy to hear it again." He'd say with a husky chuckle. "Have you come to walk me home? Save a damsel in distress?" He'd say playfully.

[WR Harthe]

WR would scratch their head, turning their head to the ground as they blushed. They were somewhat embarrassed, but also indifferent. It had been a long day, so smooth brained moments were expected.

"No. Clearly everyone else is in danger of you." They would chuckle to themself, but would signal for DJ to lead the way as they started to walk.

The blush was fun, Dj was relaxed again. This individual was comforting. Clowning on them was even more so.

Dj would chuckle with them, "Eh, doesn't make me appreciate it any less my knight in shining armor." He'd say before starting to walk to his apartment.

[WR Harthe]

WR would just roll their eyes this time.

"Right, what are you doing out here anyway?"

DJ was... a little too pretty to be wandering the streets alone and purposeless.

[Djoser Aneksi]

Dj would give a wry smile, enjoying that reaction just as much.

"I was performing. I am a drag queen. This was the quickest way home and I am used to the attacks. I know I probably don't seem like the type that should be out alone, but if people can't control themselves that is their problem."

[WR Harthe]

"What the fuck is a drag queen?" WR would immediately look up at DJ with genuinely curious eyes.

[Djoser Aneksi]

Dj's eyes would light up curiously.

"It's when pretty boys like me get paid to turn into pretty girls and entertain people." He'd say with a feminine gesture that serves to amplify his gorgeously feminine features.

[WR Harthe]

After a long pause, they would just respond with a simple "Oh,".

"Not for me." The androgynous bean would immediately decide.

Huh interesting. Typical response from the uneducated, but he almost expected the androgynous person to be interested.

"It isn't for most. Some people violently act against it in fact. But regardless it is an art that I dedicate myself too."

He was going to keep smiling and walking, taking the comment unphased.
