"Fair enough." He'd say as he followed. He would giggle and bow as he was let into the car. As WR jumped in he would put on his seatbelt and wait for the music to be turned on. The ultimate sign if someone was a degenerate or not was what music they listened to in the car.

[WR Harthe]

WR's smoky gray Aston Martin was a prized possession -- not only was it their favorite car, it used to belong to their first street rival before they plucked it out of his angry, defeated hands. They would smile at the thought.

They would practically rip the key out of their pocket and catch it with the other hand, immediately shoving it into the ignition. Afterwards, they would rev a few times while they searched for a CD to put in. "Where the hell is it..." They would mumble as they searched around. Suddenly, a track list appeared on the radio and music started to play, causing them to bump their head in surprise. "Oh. It's already in." Of course it was. They never took it out. The music in question was, of course, nu metal. Dj would immediately be able to sense a connection between it and their own music.

Now all that was left to do was find somewhere to eat...

They would throw a hand on the steering wheel and another on the volume cap, turning it up as they stepped on the gas. And with that, they would fly out of the parking lot with no regard for traffic, pedestrians, or the sane road laws that were kept in place to protect said pedestrians from psychopaths like WR.

Dj was quietly thinking to himself about how pretty the car was as he waited for the music. When the track list showed up he'd chuckle lightly, surprised they had forgotten they had left it in.

When the music started up he contemplated it. It was definitely appropriate for the little ball of anger. Little did he know how much so until the car decided it needed to go from 0 to 60 in the damn parking lot.

Dj was thrown back and looked shocked and terrified as the vehicle zoomed. Was this really how he died???

[WR Harthe]

WR felt Dj's shock as they turned onto main road, and a wide grin would grow on their face. "Forgot to warn you I'm a speed demon. My bad."

And with that half ass apology, they would continue to speed up, jolting them both to the side as they hit the first turn. The tires would let out a satisfying 'screeeech!' as they weaved between two cars also taking the turn, both of which promptly stopping and honking in anger. WR would just roll their eyes. They knew what they were doing.

This would continue for a few minutes until they finally pulled into a parking lot between a selection of four or five restaurants.

They tilted their head at Dj to ensure he was still alive. "Ya good?" They'd ask with a shit eating grin. WR just loved to show off...

As WR said that, Dj would look over bewildered and infuriated by the notion. He would have jumped out the car if WR hadn't weaved between two others. When WR finally stopped, and looked over, there was no Dj, he was totally invisible. When he calmed down he reappeared and spoke. "I... cannot talk about what just occurred without at least attempting to cause you physical harm. I will say I am impressed that you managed to do this without causing grave physical injury. That in mind, are any of these places standing out to you?" He would say barely keeping his chill.

WR would roar a hearty laugh as they plucked the key out and returned it to their pocket, then they would get out of the car and stretch.

"Man, you should see your face!" They would pause briefly to wipe the tears away.

"Okay but for real, I promise not to almost kill you next time."

They would say as they waved for him to follow. They were just going to pick a random restaurant and settle with it.

Dj's eyebrow would raise as WR would laugh, and his eyes would start glowing. He would quickly close his eyes and take a deep breath before getting out. He would say nothing as they spoke again. But they would smile again and follow them into the restaurant, this time opening the door for them.

WR would grab hold of the door as Dj opened it for them, practically launching themself into the building and abruptly stopping in front of the counter, throwing their head up at the many colorful signs behind the confused cashier.

Now where the hell did they end up?

At first glance, it seemed their menu held a little bit of everything, but there was no telling what their specialty was. Well, maybe if they read the name of the restaurant, but no. That took half the fun away from this.

They would straighten themself up and shove their hands into their pockets as they waited for Dj.

Wow... they actually were a speed demon. Rushing in like that was insanity. Though, not much more so than their driving and jumping off of a building. What was this speedy little individual trying to prove??? Dj would find his way over and sit across from them. He was smiling as per normal, and wouldn't even acknowledge the tomfuckery of this real life energizer bunny.

[WR Harthe]

"OKAY! Let's go this way," WR would declare and tug on Dj's sleeve as they walked to the back of the dining area. So it was some sort of buffet with an optional menu based on all the carts of food between tables. Noted.

They would grab a plate from one of the carts and get to plating!

Dj would giggle as they were lead along, finally becoming endeared to the concept of the speedy rascal. He would grab his own plate and go for more healthy options. Afterwards he would sit down and say, "Why the hurry?"

[WR Harthe]

WR piled their plate with pretty much anything that looked good, which ranged from soul food, to pizza, to avocado salad, to shrimp soup, you name it, it was likely there. There was absolutely no way they were going to eat even half of it, but they didn't care.

They would start to stuff their face with whatever randomness came first until Dj spoke up, making them hastily wash it down with some water. They would beat their chest before answering.

"I'm not in a hurry, why?" Was all he would get before they started stuffing their face again.

"You move so... fast. Like you don't think twice about what your doing." He would say as he calmly and slowly ate his lunch. "It seems to work for you, so no judgement here. I was just curious as to why." He'd say eyeing the pile that was surely going to get upcharged for excessive waste.

[WR Harthe]

WR shrugged as they swallowed down more food.

"Force'a habit I guess." Although that was somewhat true, there was a bit more to it than that, and Dj could probably tell.

"Life's too short to move slow, ya know?" They added. Yeah, they were more content with that answer.

After the first statement Dj would set his fork down mid bite to fold his hands and give WR a stare that let them know he was on to the bullshit.

After the second he would say. "We disagree on ideologies, but I can respect it." He didn't want to pry, so that answer worked for the time being.
