Truth be told, WR's views of the world were completely and utterly fucked, but they came from the trauma of a fucked up life, so... it made sense, even though a lot of their ideologies were completely irrational. They were still a good bean, for the most part.
They would force more food down before addressing Dj again. They weren't done with the subject.

"Life is whatever I make it. All I have to do is put in the time and effort." He would say simply. It was not fully revealing of him specifically, but it was true to his nature. Ambition, work ethic, and improvement through intense criticism were the hallmarks of his childhood and values that helped form the man before WR today.

...then they would plop back into their seat with a laugh, rubbing the back of their head.

The second they got up on the table Dj would meet them dead in the middle, faces less than a foot apart. His eyes would be glowing and his smile would be absolutely wicked.
Though he would quickly just laugh back in his seat. Not taking the situation seriously of all.

WR would shrug. They were half tempted to just walk out of the restaurant without paying anyway, so if he was going to take the initiative, they wouldn't argue.
"I'll pay you by not killing you on the way back." They winked.

And with that, WR would leave the restaurant for the car, opening Dj's door once again, twirling around the back of the car before getting in the drivers' seat.
"So where am I taking you?" They'd ask once he was situated.

Dj would smile and give his address, where parking is, and a general description of where to go. The idea being to cover all bases to avoid confusion. He would smile at WR, secretly bracing himself for the inevitable tomfuckery.

WR absorbed the provided information like a sponge before shoving the key back into the ignition. They were confident they could follow his directions in record time, and hell, probably even make a few shortcuts if they wanted to. But... Dj probably wanted to use this time to conversate, so they decided to take their time.
This time they would enter traffic like a normal human being, actually paying attention to other vehicles, signs, and laws. Crazy, right?
