Gidget glanced between the gathered people and gave a slight shake of her head. She wasn't ashamed of who she was, or the fact that she didn't have Qi. Even if it did put her at a disadvantage.

Julius nodded at DJ's response, but snapped his head at Gidget, and darted his eyes between her and WR.
"I am a meta, and I ask because metas have shown to be a hell of a lot more trustworthy than those who aren't," he informed them, his voice returning to a cold tone.

Dj would look back and forth as they spoke, trying to gague the situation and soothe WR.

"There's a difference between flat out racism, and cautions based on experience," he said as he pulled out his bike from a line in front of the bar. Wheeling it over in front of the group on the road, he continued. "There are exceptions. But for every good non-meta there's 10 who are scared, disgusted, or outraged by every breath we take."
Kicking down the stand, he leaned against the motorcycle and faced the group, his arms crossed. "Just look in there," he growled with a nod to the bar. "The look on their faces when they realized there were metas in their presence. Half of them would do anything to get out of our presence, the other would do anything to get rid of us entirely. Including that bartender. If he had no legal repercussions I'd bet my bike he would have filled our chests with shotgun pellets. Or hell, look at the attack that happened at those new apartments that everyone's been talking about it. There are massive groups rising up whose only goal is to wipe us out."
The Aedrian reached inside a pocket hanging off his bike, and pulled out a cigarette and lighter, finishing his speech as he did so. "So yea, if it's racist being cautious, maybe even paranoid, around nonmetas, when any one of them could be an antimeta looking to slit my throat," he paused to light the cigarette he had in his mouth. "So be it."

Gidget rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
"Be paranoid all you want. I'm outta here." She flipped him the bird before turning to walk off. Otherwise, her mouth was going to get her into a world of hurt.

WR frowned at all the commotion. Racism this, equality that, whatever. WR was willing to let bygones be bygones, even though they truly didn't care about what was being talked about. Motorcycle guy was probably a dick. Dj, another dick. Gidget, the ultimate dick. They shook their head and turned away from them all huffing loudly.
"I just wanted some fuckin' nuggets but I guess that ain't happenin'. Later loooosers!" They cackled almost manically, slapping a hand on their knee before beginning to waddle down the sidewalk.
The world was not ready for the terror that was drunk WR, unless someone happened to be in a car. They were ready for drunk WR.

"That's a nice thought, you can add a pretty bow on top of it," Julius quipped as he blew smoke. "But," he began as he mounted his bike. "It's only gonna get worse from here for us, DJ. Unless we do something about it."
With that, he started the bike. "Need a ride anywhere? Guess I owe you for trying to strangle you."

Dj would smile at the offer. At least they can have respect for each other's views. He would utimately shake his head though.

He would say giving a small salute with 2 fingers and starting to walk home.
