She was shaking as she approached the Institute, a large bag in hand. She didn't want to be here, she didn't want to do this... but she had to. She knew she had to.
"For the children," she whispered to herself, and raised her hand to knock on the door.

Xapham had just gotten in, so it was a surprise to be getting a knock at the door at this time of day. He would turn around and open it to see the girl full of innocence from before.
"Ah, young miss, a pleasure to see you again. What might I be able to do for you?"

She was shaking in front of him, and when she spoke, it all came out at once.
"I grew up an orphan, too, and I... I just found out what happened to my parents. And it's awful, feeling like this, and knowing this. And it was awful, growing up and always wondering if you had a family at all, and.... and I'm not okay with anybody feeling like that during this time of year. It's Ch-Christmas, you know?"

She nodded, and then shifted her weight from foot to foot.
"So... I thought I... could bring Christmas joy. To everyone. Not just... us, or people like us, or people from any particular world. Because we're all here, now... And it's Christmas. So I want to do something for everyone."

"I... I'm actually here for two reasons," she murmured softly, and glanced down at the present she held in her hands.
"I... had an idea. There's a tree, out by the ruins of the Ark. I don't know how it's still standing, but it is... and... Back at the orphanage, every year, the nuns would give us each a Christmas ornament, and we would all hang them together... like a family. I remember how much joy it always brought all of us. We loved it... So I think I'm going to decorate the tree with lots of lights and ribbons, and... I'm going to give everybody at that apartment complex Christmas ornaments. I don't know if anybody will come, but... I'm going to leave everybody little notes, asking them to come. So we can all hang Christmas ornaments together, on Christmas night. You know... like a... family?"
She peeked up at him, finally meeting his gaze, wondering what he would think.
"It's... a silly idea, I'm sure, but..."

She nodded, and swallowed back her fear. Holding out her gift to him, she kept her gaze averted.
"I... I also brought ornaments for all of the orphans here, so they could join us. I... I didn't know how many there were, so I just... brought a lot."

He said happily.
"By all means please come in, if you would like you can deliver them yourself? The staff here are all Meta's too if you have extra."

She hesitated in the doorway for a moment, then finally, she nodded. She walked in slowly, peering around at the inside of the Institute. This was the last place she ever expected to be, and the thought terrified her. What was she doing here? Had anyone watched her come in? Would rumors start to spread? How would she even COMBAT those rumors?
She swallowed her agony, and then made her way inside.
"I.... I would actually love to deliver them. If that is really okay?"

He would assure her.
"Follow me, I'll take you to the dorms."
He would say as he proceed to walk down one of the hallways.

She nodded, and followed after him, cradling the bag she carried like it was a precious gift... which, it actually was. She hid a bit behind her long, orange hair, and gawked at the inside of the Institute.
"Oh wow. This place is beautiful."

"Thank you, child. It's a bit much honestly, and if it were just for me I wouldn't have such a place, but I when I decided to start adopting the orphans and giving them real lives, I felt it would be best to offer them the best I could."
He explained as he lead her through the halls.

Shiloh nodded. The orphanage she had grown up in was in constant disrepair, and the nuns had to fight just to keep the roof from leaking. This place was so much nicer.
"Do you only adopt Metas?"
