Personality:
Rough and rage-filled, she has more attitude than she necessarily needs. She knows just how to push everyone's buttons, almost instinctively, and takes a sick, twisted sort of joy in doing so. She has very little loyalty to anyone who is not her brother, and even less patience.
Mentality:
She has very little concept of what is real and what is not. She genuinely feels like this is all some sort of messed up dream that she is stuck in and can't get out of, so she acts out, assuming that all of the consequences will disappear whenever she wakes up.

I reject your reality and replace it with my own.

Please, god, let this be a dream.

Tattoos and what look almost like sigils from different religions all along her shoulders and hips, and Japanese Kanji tattooed down her spine.

History Information
History:
The moment her brother was born, her entire life changed. She was the older sibling, the responsible one, the one that had to keep him safe... and he was perfect. She clearly remembers looking down at his chubby little face and promising herself, and him, that no matter what happened... she would protect him. Of course, their family had to make that as difficult as they possibly could. The verbal abuse quickly escalated into physical, and that was when her world started to crack. She wasn't entirely certain how to handle it all and keep Nick safe at the same time.
As a teenager, she began to lash out in return. She would fight back, even though she was significantly weaker. She wasn't sure where all of the attitude or rage came from, but she embraced it. It made the bruises hurt less and less, and made it so much easier to overcome the cruel words that were whispered in her mind.
As soon as she was able to legally leave, she took Nick... and she ran. She was certain that would be the end to the violence and the hatred, that she and her brother would finally be free. However, it became quickly apparent that the voices had followed her. She would hear them whispering to her, telling her everything her family and everyone else had told her. Somewhere, there was also the voice of a little girl, a scared child, but she could never seem to find her. It made navigating the world more and more difficult, and at some point... the black-outs started. The only thing that would keep her calm was surrounding herself with animals.
She learned how to care for animals as best she could, and was quick to discover her ability to communicate with them. She had always been unnervingly good at languages, but this was something else. She could speak with animals and understand them. Their simple mindset made things so much easier for her. The people she tried to tell all told her they were just other voices, like the ones making cruel comments and causing the black-outs. She wasn't sure what was real or what wasn't, but the voices of the animals brought her something she hadn't known her entire childhood: peace, and comfort. She was willing to assume they were real on that principle alone.
Now that she is older, the voices have continued, and even gotten worse. She was starting to lose all grip on reality when, suddenly, she was taken somewhere else entirely. This world is incredibly unfamiliar to her... but all it's done is convince her that reality is relative.
