"Fuck! Shit!!"
It was always surprising how loud such a tiny little bean could be. She was enraged, kicking at the little bit of trash that littered her floor. Gidget paced back and forth in her dark apartment.
It wasn't terribly uncommon for rolling black outs to plague the city, especially in the poorer neighborhoods, but they usually didn't last this long. It had been nearly two hours with no power... and Gidget was getting frustrated.
Throwing herself down on the ground, she placed her hands over her ears and whined, noisily. Her head ACHED, almost violently. She was keeping up with her emails and text messages utilizing her chip, but it was starting to give her a migraine.

Gidget would hear low female whispers from outside her door, and with enough attention she would hear a nervous "what should I say?"
A knocking would sound at her door, followed by a young woman's voice calling, "Hello? Everything okay?"

Gidget stared up at the door as soon as she heard one voice, glaring at the reinforced door with all the ferocity that she had within herself. Which was a lot for such a tiny being.
She stood up, stomping over to her door, and took the thirty seconds it took in order to unlock everything... and threw the door open, standing there with a strange sort of rage in her violet eyes.
"WHAT" she half shouted.

The door would reveal two characters; one a blue eyed and blue haired Soni, the other a mighty swordswoman.
Soni jumped back a bit at the violent upheaval of the far too secure door. She regained her composure quickly however and began:
"Um, hi I-I'm Soni and this is Lorelai," she introduced with a gesture to her...unfortunately intimidating friend. "We're with Xapham's academy and just-" Soni paused with a look up. "well Lorelai is technically with TSI but..." The nervous young woman shook her hands, seemingly in attempt to brush away the awkwardness. "But anyway, we saw that the power went out and wanted to check on everyone and make sure everything was going okay, when we heard your... um..." Soni looked for a way not to sound judgmental. "...struggling."

Lorelai stood a step behind Soni, staring down at the teeny tiny little chihuahua. She cocked a brow. How could such a tiny creature cause so much noise? She glanced back at Soni, who seemed nervous.
This was confusing.

"Oh great. Xapham's little X-Men school for the gifted and the great and powerful. Hi, Lorelai," she sneered. She knew the woman, but only by name and information. She had seen her employee documentation, but wasn't interested in actively interacting with her.
"What, are youse now the security for this place too? On top of everything else, we get to deal with you coming knocking and shit?"

Soni was taken aback by the first comment, with a look of disbelief on the half of her face that showed. "Wh-" she began, though she was quickly interrupted.
Once the character had finished her speech, Soni huffed and composed herself. "Listen kid," she addressed with frowning eyes. "I came over here cus I wanted to make sure no one was trying to kill you. Yknow, cus I care about people. Sorry if I offended you by existing or wanting to help. But believe it or not there really isn't a reason to be that freaking rude. Right Lorelai?"
In the event that Lorelai would say nothing, Soni would copy and cast Lorelai's voice in front of her mouth. "Yea don't be rude."

Lorelai was, of course, going to be silent.... and then heard her own voice, from right in front of her mouth. Her sharp gaze darted over to Soni, and her eyes narrowed slightly. She didn't say anything, but simply crossed her arms over her chest, looking... actually a bit miffed.

Gidget rolled her eyes at both of them. She was still shaking, but trying her best to hide that from these strangers... which obviously meant some kind of bravado.
"You DO know that I'm NOT one of you, right? I was here, in this very fucking apartment, before Sudeki and his gang of bitches--" she cut her eyes at Lorelai, intentionally, before continuing, "decided to move the rest of the misfits here."
Though, some of those misfits had since become... hers.
She crossed her arms, mimicking Lorelai's posture, and turned her attention back to Soni. "So I don't know why you feel the need to check on one of the lowly normies. Shouldn't you be looking after the people you actually care about?"

Soni was just about ready to punch this girl in the face. She was far too invested to even look at Lorelai's expressions.
With a deep breath in and out her nose, Soni spoke in a low, silent rage filled tone. "Well some of us 'misfits' want to look out for other misfits like you. So if you ever need anything, you can always count on Xapham and his little X-men to help you, unless you're too far above that, Ms. I Was Here First."
Soni was close to adding "though you don't stand too far above anything by the looks of it," but she refrained.
Instead she gave a calm, "Have a goodnight," as she began to walk away, hoping Lorelai would follow her.

Gidget sneered. She didn't want help from Xapham, or any of his little lackeys. She had no intrinsic problem with Metas, obviously, but she had a deep rooted problem with people who seemed to think less of her. She stared after the girl.
"I might believe you if any of you showed an active aptitude for actually HELPING YOUR OWN PEOPLE. But since you can't even do that, why the hell should I trust you?"
She didn't slam the door closed, half looking for a fight (which she had no hope of winning, no matter the circumstances).

Lorelai kept pace silently with Soni. She had assessed the munchkin as a non-threat, despite the cruelty of her words and bravado of her tone.

Soni turned around and stormed quickly up to Gidget. "What the hell are you talking about? What do you mean helping our own people? We all fought outside this apartment complex just the other day! I'm over here to make sure everyone is doing okay in the black out! What the hell more do you want me to do?"

"Maybe you should pay attention to the threats coming at your people from all sides! You fought in one battle, and now you have your head buried in the sand while Metas are getting attacked, people are getting hurt, and not a damn person is doing shit about SHIT!"
She was nearly shouting now, standing firm despite the height difference. She had no doubts Soni could destroy her, but she didn't seem willing to budge.
