Fuck!!! She was shot! He would immediately move and slam his fist against the guard beside him. Then run over to continue his assault on the one's attacking Soni, making harder scales as he did so. His clone still frozen in terror, he would run up and give another bite, this time tackling through and trying to land a haymaker punch right to the other. Eternal Soul Lvl 1: Dj learns to make his own body an illusion, allowing him to use energy to change his form. This allows him to change his physical form however he pleases as long as he does not exceed double his size. This also lets him add 25% to a physical stat until the thread ends.

Soni let out a yelp, and fell to the ground at the guards' feet. Putting her hand to her back, she struggled to breathe from the shock. Was I just...
She felt the wound, and looked at her blood covered hand for confirmation of the nightmare. The young woman whimpered at the sight, but between her whimpers and sharp inhales, she forced herself to think. She closed her eyes and began soothing her spirit with an inaudible sound, hoping the guards were satisfied with the damage they had done.

Soul's Song: After spending time with Drake, Soni's learned how to hear the sound and feel the frequency of people's soul's! Due to this she can now create a frequency that is soothing to the soul. Once Soni sings to a person's soul, their body can be healed for 25% of the last attack they received.]

She coughed a bit. “I’ll fuckin’ do it again... you ready?” She would prepare her power and wait for a response. “Maybe I’ll make it worse...”
She’d grow a head ache knowing she achieved that by relying on some augmentation. It wasn’t natural to her body during the time taking out the beachfront she did notice that’s one of their restrictions.

Not being able to connect with anyone she saw made her heart quake a bit. She rubbed her temples to ease the ache it gave her. She continued to look around maybe look upwards or through the crowd to see who’s eyes if any were focusing on her.
“Who are you and what might you want?” Seemingly unsure of anything or anyone was near her she might be talking to air.

WR stopped behind Drake as he set Gidget down, somewhat sandwiching her to ensure she didn't get swept away by the panicking crowd. They would swiftly follow Drake through the hole in the wall, their thoughts traveling a million miles an hour! What the hell was going on?

Drake’s blade glowed as he attempted to attack the wall. The beam slashed forward, but as soon as it met its target, it seemed to just… disappear. Nothing happened. Suddenly, laughter filled the room, disembodied and amused. It sounded like the laughter of two children, a girl and a boy, and was so loud it was almost deafening for a moment, before fading away.
Adelaide’s attempt to break a window simply made the entire thing jiggle, like jelly in a glass container.
Kaia managed to follow the wall to a staircase. She had two decisions! Up, onto the roof… or down.
“Come find us.” The voices spoke in unison to Cain. They were almost mocking him, teasing him. “If you’re smart enough to.”
Every time DJ managed to land a blow, the person he was attacking seemed to just… disappear. However, the crowd of men in the hazmat suits seemed unending. For every person he took down, another seemed to take their place. Nobody seemed to pay any attention to the clone, and they weren’t fighting back against the unseen force.
Soni managed to heal most of the damage of the wound, but the pain was still there; it seemed unaffected by her Qi ability. The guard that was facing her kept their rifle trained on her. “Stay down,” the two guards murmured in unison.
Julius followed the trio (Drake, Gidget, and WR) into the apartment just in time to see Drake’s attempt not affect the wall at all, as well as hear the laughter fill the room.
Avice would hear the speech of the two people again, though this time, it sounded like they were speaking to someone else. “Come find us. If you’re smart enough to.” Then, she would hear laughter. Both sounded a bit further away, but she would be able to hear the voices any time they spoke, now.
Dime would not be able to see any eyes looking at her, but if she looked back towards the crowds, she would see them thin out considerably. Instead of three or four of each person, she would only see one, running around aimlessly in the hallway with a blank expression on their face. The hallway would suddenly look significantly clearer, allowing her to choose what direction to go in next.

Something about that laughter reminded him of those kids he saw at the Droogs warehouse.
"Alright, new plan."
He would say to the group as he turned around noting, but also not caring about, the new person. He would cut his hand and form a blood staff, but at the tip he would make the tip spit and curve so that it resembled a giant blunt arrow head.
"Follow close behind me, I'm going to force the crowd out of the way and we're going to the roof!"
With that he would head out and force his way through the crowd!

Adelaide would yell at the window as she pulled out her bat and swung harder!
Berserker Bat: +5 Attack, -2 Defense; A simple enough looking bat, with tiny, vein-like black lines running through it. As soon as she swings the bat the first time, she begins to lose control of herself and is overtaken by a bloodthirsty rage that dramatically increases her attack but lowers not only her defense, but her willingness to defend herself. The more she wields the bat, the stronger this effect is on her mind, until she loses herself to a Berserker like mode. The only thing that can free her from this is a strong, intrinsic trigger, or she drops the bat. (+50% Atk -25% Def per hit for 4 posts up to +200% Atk -100% Def)

He needs to focus... focus...
He closes his eyes, blocking out the illusions he's been facing thus far, and focuses on trying to feel out where the ones who are behind this are hiding.

Soni laid there, trying to think of what to do. She needed to not be here, that was for sure.
Closing her eyes and focusing, the Qi usage now getting to her, she mimicked the unison voice sound and cast it opposite from her with a shouting "Over here!" Hoping they were looking in the shout's direction, she launched herself across the floor and through the smoke, hoping she could vanish from their sight in the very least.

Sonokinetic Launch: By projecting sound behind her, Soni pushes herself forward adding 1/2 her Eng in speed. She can also use it as a burst that sends her flying in whatever specified direction
Distant Call: Throw voice from Skyrim, essentially. Soni can cast her voice to originate in any point within a 20ft. radius.]

Running into the room behind the gang of odd hair or eye colors, Julius experienced a wave of emotion: relief at the sight of fellow metas, confusion trying to figure out what his power actually was considering his blast did nothing, fear as he heard the laughs, and determination as he followed the red eyed fellow, attempting to help clear the way.

WR raised a brow at the laughter and tensed slightly, ready to conjure fire anywhere they might need it. It wasn't until Drake declared a new plan that their muscles relaxed, and they did as instructed, expanding their pocket staff to threaten the panicking crowds. They nodded at the familiar newcomer as he followed them and did the best they could to help clear the way so they could all make it to the roof.
