Adelaide just stared Shiloh in the eye as she struggled with having a brain aneurysm. She took a deep breath.
"That... is a four inch LIVING version of my MOTHER, that popped out of an EGG, because I listened to that SNOW GLOBE YOU GOT ME!"

She gave a slight shake of her head.

"I did sneak something into your room, but it wasn't a snow globe. I kind of wish I had thought of that... but no. That one wasn't me."

Then the situation hit again.
"Nevermind that can wait! You said you got one too? Where did they come from? What happened when you listened to yours?"

She gave a little shrug of her shoulders.
"I made a wish and played the music, and it was like... I don't know. The music calmed me down a lot, and made me feel like I could help, like maybe my wish can come true. But... my parents didn't show up in my room."
Her smile was sad as she reached out for Adelaide's hand, lightly gripping her pinky with her own.
"Even if it's... not actually you're mom, or your mom in a different form, at least you can see her. And I see her, too. She's definitely real."

Adelaide winced at the mention of a wish, and then felt sad at the comment of Shiloh's parents...
"I... I wished that my mom was still here."
She stated.
"That was the wish I made when I listened to the snow globe... I... didn't think anything would actually happen..."

Shiloh smiled softly, moving to wrap her arms gently around Adelaide's shoulders.
"Well, let's not look a gift horse in the mouth... I'm sure there will be something to this, but... You made a wish, and it came true, and you get at least a little more time with your mom. Let's just enjoy that, okay? It's what you wanted, and I'm so happy for you."

Shiloh giggled softly and nuzzled her head into her friend's shoulder, tightening her arms slightly as she embraced her.
"She's your mom, silly. She loves you, and she is so proud of you. So what if you're a little rough around the edges? You're still the best person I've ever known. And the most beautiful. Even your mom said so."

Adelaide would return the hug holding onto Shiloh for a little longer.
"Yeah, you're right."
She would pull away from the embrace but hold Shiloh's arms.
"Will you... Go in with me?"

Shiloh smiled brightly at Adelaide before disengaging entirely from her. She motioned to her friend to lead the way.

Adelaide would take a deep breath before opening the door again to the 4in woman. Who now held a note in hands with a ring beside her, she would begin reading as soon as the girls entered the room.
"You say my eyes are like emeralds, so the emeralds are pieces of me, with you everywhere you go... But the diamond is you. Beautiful, sometimes cold, imperfect, but so strong that nothing can break it or cut it... and so very, very real. You are real, Adel, and I see you."
Then she would look up with tears in her eyes looking at Shiloh.
"You are just the sweetest! Oh..."
She sniffled. Adelaide looked at the ring, the note, her... mother, and then to Shiloh and a light bulb went off!
"Wait is that...?"

The moment Shiloh saw the ring, her face flushed a brilliant red color, and she covered both cheeks with her hand. Her eyes were wide. She meant the words, of course, but it wasn't exactly how she wanted to introduce herself to Adelaide's mother...
"Um.... your Christmas present, actually. The note sounds sooooo sappy when it's read out loud, though!"

Before Adelaide could speak, Kyrie would squeel.
"Oh my daughter has a Girlfriend, and darling you are just PRECIOUS! How long have you two been dating?! I must know EVERYTHING! Come sit sit!"
She would say scooting over and patting the bed. Adelaide was blushing HARD!
